Hi - my hair is currently 7C all over. I’d like to add some subtle highlights via bleach. Once those are done, should I add 7C throughout the whole head or use 8C on the highlighted parts? Looking for a natural copper, not orange. Thx for any input you can provide!
I bought shades eq from Sally Beauty. There was an offer to save 20% so I thought why not treat myself. I also got the color gels lacquers for my roots. I haven't tried them yet as I still have some of my old colour leftover. Super excited to use them.
@@DanielaAngueira I'm ready to try. M'y hair is seven, with highlights level 9. I want to change for a copper red hair. I will mix 6rb and 6r for the roots. And 5cc+8wg for the lengths. 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞 Hoping for a vibrant copper red dimensionnal result !!!!
@@DanielaAngueira I will ! Not yet realized. I m taking a good care of m'y hair with redken acidic bonding brand. I will make I more few more highlights, not in foils. And then I will have thé root shadow, hoping for a brown reddish result, and the lengths, much more copper. Could you advice me for some efficient repigmentant care ?
I have dirty blonde/light brown hair. I used shades eq 4N chicory at home about a month ago and it turned out amazing. It's starting to fade and wanting to spice things up. Do you think a 5C chili would show up on top, or only to try this on already red or blonde hair since it only deposits? I see your roots didn't pick up the red but my hair is not that dark. Any thoughts?
@@DanielaAngueira I tried it on my extensions first and it was a bit too orange for my skin tone! I’m going to try an ashy blonde shade with a dash of papaya and see if that works better!
@@DanielaAngueira I was thinking of mixing 7c with 6gb or 6wg to tone WAY too blonde highlights in my natural strawberry blonde/copper~ish hair. Thoughts, please?
I love your hair color!!! It’s time to refresh my copper and I use L’Oréal sizzling copper but was hoping to do something less damaging. Is there anything that’s similar to Shades EQ that a non-professional can get at Sally’s ?
Thank you!!! Unfortunately I don't know of any non-professional gloss type products that you can get without a license, however these services should be a lot less costly than others at salons. I highly recommend going somewhere where they work with shades eq. It's such an amazing product.
Hey! Yes I have used the 7CC! From my personal experience it comes out a little more vibrant and orange than when I use the 7C. I feel like it comes out more red and natural.
Thank you so much! It is always recommended to use the color/toner with the designated developer so the processing solution is what is made for shades eq! I haven’t used it with any other developer.
Hello! Thank you for the video. What shade would you recommend if I want to tone my red hair that ended up too cherry red to a more orangy/copper tone? Thank you in advanced!
I would definitely recommend getting an in person consult with a licensed professional that specializes in red. You may have to lighten before you do the orange copper if you caught too red
Thank you! In this video I had full head baby lights. So I would lighten and then do the color. Now I’ve just been doing my roots with color. Will be posting a video soon!
I've been using the redken gel lacquers which I mixed with redken pro oxide developer, for a while now. Can the EQ Shades be mixed with pro oxide develop or does it need to be mixed with Shades EQ Developer Processing Solution/ Gloss To Cream Processing Solution?
It looks so good !!
Stunning!!! Love this color😍😍
Thank you!!

Love it!! I just colored my hair red. How often do you refresh the color without damaging the hair? Thank you:)

It's so shiny! I'm impressed !
Shades EQ is the best!

Your hair may pick up a red tint! I say do a test strand before anything to see what happens!
Hello for your roots what shade do you apply. If your hair is cooper ? Thanks
Okay but the light thing in the back 😍
I love our Leaflights 😍
Love this colour!! Is it possible to get to this colour at home with box dye? I have virgin dark brown hair...would it need bleaching first?
I would definitely advise you go visit a professional! Hair can be really unpredictable. Especially if you try to do it at home.
Wow it looks amazing! I got shades eq papaya and cayenne that I’m going to mix together in attempt to go strawberry blonde...wish me luck! Lol
Thank you so much!! Ive actually mixed those shades before :) How did it turn out for you?

I really love the end result, but I am wondering what would I add to 7c to make it a little less red and a little more sandy
When i want more neutralized results i use n in my formula!

they are 8$ on ebay!!
What were the things you used to do it
Which shades eq gloss would you recommend to touch up a ginger blonde?
Like a strawberry blonde?
I would use a combo of like 9g + 8c + 8wg
What level if developer should i use if I want to go from natural brown black hair to copper like yours? I am thinking to use redken chromatics for it
I would use 20 on scalp and 30 on the mids and ends to avoid hot roots!
Had you tried the 7cc? If so, It’s a big difference between 7c and 7 cc? And do u have any experience using 7cb?

Is the shades eq processing solution necessary? Could I use a no lift developer for the same result?

Interesting you’re using on dry hair. Most clarify and apply to damp hair. Do you prefer dry application?
Hi! Stylist here! Shades gets the most punch when dry! The more diluted the more wet you want it
Shades eq is recommended to be used on dry hair! It grabs on a little bit better and less diluted than when used on damp hair
So beautiful 😻 hairstylist question what do you do to your root area? Do you lift with color or with lightener?
Thank you!

@@DanielaAngueira so beautiful can’t wait! I have client that requested the same color so I’ll be taking 🗒 thank you 🙏
I have level 8 bleached hair. Would I get that exact color just w EQ 7C curry ?
I would add some 5C to the formula!
I have been a hairdresser 33 years and Shades EQ is one of my all time favorite hair color products. They came out with a 7 CC. Have you tried it?
It’s honestly the best! And yes i love that they have a 7CC!

Did you use only 1 bottle of the color for your hair length?
Yes! I only use one bottle mixed with the processing solution

I do 7C mixed with equal parts of the processing solution
You can buy it from Sally Beauty 🤭
They have shades eq there??? 😯
You didn’t tell us the shade!
It’s 7C!
