Thank God we have people like you, Jonnydel. Watching film proves this is a bigger issue other than the generic "Kyle sucks!!!" This is clearly an execution issue
💯but no everyone wants to fire Kyle 🤦🏻♂️ Kyle definitely has some blame to take but his players are more responsible for this loss than the coach

The people that want Kyle fired started to be fans once we became really good again. They don’t know the dark times we went through before Kyle. Tomsula, Kelly, and more were all HORRIBLE coaches. Kyle is a amazing coach everyone just needs to LOCK TF IN!
And some other content creators that try to analyze the all 22 with a preconceived agenda and have no idea what they are looking at.

This is much better than the edited format. Please do this for all analysis. This is your strength - doing it live and explaining it all. You do it better than anyone else. That same depth does not come through on the edited format.
I love the edited videos, not gonna lie, there IS a reason for those.
But the raw emotion and, unfortunately, frustration? All of our fandom together with the actual reason behind it.

I've been saying this too; even the games they've won, the 49ers have left a LOT of points on the field.
Great break down. One interesting note, I actually preferred this format or style. Not necessarily in the unpolished presentation necessarily, but it was actually way easier to follow than some of your other game breakdowns. I think being able to see your cursor was a huge help in immediately identifying who or where you're talking about.
Deebo is overrated. He's never been great at beating man coverage, and this year it appears as though he's sort of dogging it. I suspect Kyle is hoping that Pearsal will be Deebo's replacement.
He is going to he his replacement, Deebo is gone after this season, he will get traded. And now especially that Jennings is having a breakout year so far. We’ll see

Thanks, Jonnydel. I was one of the folks that thought Mason blew it on that last play. Thanks for clarifying. So much blame to go around, and like you said, one less thing goes wrong and we still win. Very frustrating, but also maybe a little reason for hope.
Think we got spoiled with CMC especially in the RZ on how he can get little in those run lanes and just drive his legs…hate to say it but Deebo loafs if he thinks he is not getting the ball…but when he gets the ball that whole offense kills themselves to block for him…he owes his teammates and it shows damn near every week and I’m a Deebo guy…smh

Jonny I way prefer this format - love to see the raw emotion of frustration over the production aspect of your videos. Not that those are bad, but this is awesome! ALSO....Execution. We have media turds like Grant making videos of "Hot Seat" not knowing the context. Lanes are open - play designs are really good for the most part. Guys just aren't doing their jobs right now. Maybe some of that accountability falls on Kyle but most of it should be on the players.

Video really makes you understand the difference between a great running back and a good running back. But, also give credit to the Cardinals for knowing how to affect the line to make the run less effective.
Jonny, I learned more from this video than from all the rest of your videos put together. The lack of play "jargon" and the use of simpler explanations helped me learn A LOT. Now I understand why there appear to be seemingly dumb runs straight into coverage. There aren't! It's simply Mason not fulfilling his assignment correctly. Do more videos like this. They work!

Personally I prefer these longer videos. The edited ones are too hard for a non football expert to follow, whereas these ones where you re-explain things a few times gives me time to absorb it. Nice work!
Thank you for the video! So many errors. Deebo STILL not running full speed when he isn't the 1st read is insane to me. Are the coaches not seeing this and calling him out? How about teammates? On that last play, if Mason did his job by taking the most inside guy even though the next guy was closer to the QB, then why wouldn't the tackle need to take the next inside guy as well? Seems like everyone would be assigned with taking the most inside most dangerous threat to the QB? If not then it would make sense to take the 1st guy through, not the most inside guy. Thanks again!

Love this format. Feels like we're breaking film down in one of the positional meeting rooms. Execution matters in general, but especially in the red zone. The little details such as angles to the running gap, showing a hard stem on a double move or setting an actual pick; you cannot cut corners. Those are 4 point plays and when you fail to convert on them, that's the difference between a blowout and a much tighter game.
Watching your videos make me feel so much better. Purdy didnt play well but it feels like a symptom of the lack of execution than a problem with Purdy
But it also feels like Purdy is a system QB & maybe not worth giving $61+mill/yr too. Like you see Josh/Lamar/Joe overcome the lack of execution & find ways to get into the endzone more often than not. This video shows that player is CMC for the 9ers, not Purdy. But CMC is 1 of 1. And they can't depend on him coming back or being what he was. I wouldn't extend Purdy after this season. I'd then force him to play on the franchise tag for the next 2 years. After 2nd tag, I'd trade Purdy for a Russell Wilson or Deshaun Watson type haul.

Neither Lamar nor Allen have won anything more than Purdy, so what good are they? Allen hasn’t even made it to the Super Bowl and he’s had a consistently great roster the last 4 years.

Outstanding knowledge drop. It is amazing the difference discipline by the running back in following the blocking plan makes. The blocking schemes are pretty wild too.

Great breakdown as always but especially on those run plays with Mason. You would see alot of McCaffrey almost jumping through those holes last yr simply just as you said expecting them to open up.

I really appreciate your polished and precise videos but it was so good to hear your massive sighs and frustration about the half-assed effort this team put into this game. At some point we have to talk about the coaching. The coach is supposed to emphasize the crucial details and winning effort that the team clearly lacks. The NFC is gone and niners are lucky they're in a soft division but the team has no hope of getting anywhere in the playoffs if they can't pull their collective head out.

Do you think Brock is developing bad habits holding onto the ball looking for the big play? Seems like he used to be better at getting the ball out versus the blitz and getting to the checkdown

The Juice pick failed play: isn't the rule no pass interference within 1yd of the LOS? Aiyuk should crack the defender no?

I wouldn’t say Deebo lost per se. Just because the LB is in close pursuit doesn’t necessarily mean that Deebo still can’t make the catch. It’s the NFL a step on a defender is open.
After watching the whole thing and understanding what is wrong with the offense I must quote Dave Chapelle "That shit is infuriating!" lol
I usually agree with your takes. Deebo needs to do a better job, but at 36:34, Purdy has to throw the ball. Kittle is wide open. The guy that’s focused on Deebo is at least 5 to 8 yards away.
I would say this .. throw it to deebo on the line either He can come up with the first down or not. In my opinion Purdy try to push the ball down field every Play. He just needs to come up to his check down reads more often.
Deebo be pissin me off after watching this. O Sullivan been calling him out on his effort on routes last year too. How can a receiver not win against a linebacker?? That’s insane. Clueless fans want to be blame Kyle, but players gotta execute better.

This format isn't bad! I think a little bit different cropping to eliminate the dead space and you'd be golden.
JD. Do you think BP is big play hunting? Sure seems like he is, last year he would have come off BA quicker and hit GK.
That missed BA slant on the 4x1 bunch formation is all on Purdy. Deebo got rerouted behind the line and having CMC doesn't change that. That play was drawn up for BA during a great game and Purdy should know 1000% of the time to look his way presnap, let alone during the play.
I like this type of breakdown. Really shows what went wrong. I can see why Mason was kept on the sideline so much. Losing CMC and Mitchell really hurts
Well Mitchell only has 9 TDs in 327 carries (36:1). Mason has 7 TDs in 188 carries (27:1). So Mason finds ways into the end zone waaaaaaay more than Mitchell. Now CMC (49ers) is another level with 20 TDs in 431 carries (22:1). But CMC is 1 of 1. He also has 11 receiving TDs. Problem is you can't count on a 28 yr old RB with 2 bad achilles...
@mko0lpmko0lp I'm high on Mason. He should learn to trust his line as he goes..at least I hope he does. Mitchell just can't stay on the field more than a game or two and CMC unfortunately will probably never be the same player from here on out.

This brings me to my second question, Why slide protection to the side the qb is facing? Wouldn't you almost want to force free rushers to make themselves visible to the qb?

That first series of this video is all I watched to be honest. EVERY SINGLE ONE of those plays is not bad execution, it's bad coaching for not explaining the emphasized details of the play. They need to know the exact point of emphasis they need to make in each of those plays so they understand EXACTLY what the coach is trying to do. A great coach is a good teacher, it's not just about Xs & Os. Kyle is not a teacher, that's why his players tend to be undisciplined, both on offense & defense.
Seems the Vets have tuned Kyle out. Many years of heartbreak season enders can cause that I guess. That final image of Trent, Kittle, and Juszczyk just staring at Mason get blown up (which they caused)..and not running to the ball...and reacting late to noticing the fumble, is telling. Most important series in the game to seal it, and they are just slow to react.

That 2nd and goal in the 1st quarter, if Purdy saw that Kittle didn't shake the defender, why didn't he check it down? Mason beat his man going to the left, and he had time. If he resets and looks up the middle, the whole left side is open. I think Purdy missed Mason.

So, on a short week do these guys get in a meeting room with coaches doing this same kind of breakdown? Or is it all Seattle prep? Are they expected to be able to do this break down themselves? Is someone in Deebo’s face asking him who he thought was supposed to be running his routes if he wasn’t going to run them?

Sometimes the edited ones go a bit fast imo. Maybe an effort to be more accessible to casuals but screw casuals! Give me 50 mins of detailed talking ball any day!

This dude should be a damn coach for the 49ers.... this seems like coaching problems this entire time. the team is not coached up properly. nobody knows wtf they are doing. everyone is screwing up. these players are obviously capable. they were in the damn superbowl last year. idk what is going on here? kyle is just too burnt out and the entire team is looking burnt out. saleh was fired today? maybe they need to bring saleh for DC and they need to bring in an elite OC and kyle needs a damn break because hes not doing a good job at all this season.

These breakdowns just continue to show how bad a route runner Deebo is. He’s great with the ball in his hands but it’s hard to get him the ball when he can’t run a route longer than 5 yards because he’s blanketed by linebackers.
