    At 45 psi the pressure relief valve keeps discharging if I don't turn the regulator to about 20 psi. This is annoying because I fill soda bottles once a day and should be able to just close the tank valve and blue wing valve while not needing to touch the regulator pressure (I should be able to preset the regualtor to 45 psi and leave it there with out the pressure relief valve discharging when I turn on the cylinder again.) Why is this happening? Can I adjust the pressure relief valve so it discharges at a higher pressure?

  • @thechinadesk

    I am preparing to set up a system like yours. The components are in the mail.
    Question: How exactly do you set the pressure on your regulator, assuming it has already been attached to a filled CO2 container?
    Do you close the lever at the bottom of the regulator, open the valve on the CO2 tank, then adjust/rotate the dial at the center of the regulator until it reads the desired pressure?
    I would be immensely grateful if you would explain the exact sequence.
    I really don't want to commit a UA-cam "epic fail".

      @RenegadeKitchen  4 роки тому +2

      So glad to hear you're loving your system! I've never had a bottle explode while charging, but it is something I'm constantly concerned about. I use a bottle for a few months and then replace it. I've also been experimenting with carbonating into a plastic bottle, then decanting that into a glass bottle to keep in the fridge. It's all a work in progress!

    • @slaynprey

      Put the beverage in a container where there is very little air. If you have a 2L bottle half full it will release a lot more CO2 than if you had a nearly full 2L.
      You should be able to squeeze the 2L to force the air out then put the cap on. Hope this helped.

    So many things wrong!
    32F is ice. Water should be between 40 - 45F in temp for maximum retention of CO2 gas. Not 32F!
    When you fill the soda bottle with gas, you need to squeeze out all existing air inside first, then fill, shake, fill again If you talked less and focused, you would be accurate.
    Palm sugar is not 'healthy'. It is slightly less glycemic than white sugar or sucrose but does the same harm to your insides.
    Sugar is highly addictive and should never be eaten. Try a whole pulverized lemon instead.
    Showed us absolutely nothing about how the tank is connected, pressure gauges, barbed fitting, hoses, pressure release valves, special soda caps for bottle, CO2 tank info, nothing. What a joke.
    The audience sitting there looks equally brain dead. Not one intelligent question from them. They know how to burp and how to be sycophants.
    Carbonated water is very good for you as it increases oxygen absorption in your body.
