Not sure on “last time,” though there is a schedule somewhere for the public water taxi. We just happened to speak to this taxi at Colomitos and arranged a time to meet at Quimixto. As long as you are looking before 5 or so, my guess is there will be options at most of the main beaches. Or you can arrange one ahead of time from Boca.
It likely would be very hot. I might recommend starting early and just hiking to Colomitos, then taking a water taxi back to downtown, or over to Las Animas beach and then back
Not for us. But the members of our group that were at all prone to sea sickness took precautions ahead of time. So I would recommend taking medication or a patch if you get motion/seasickness.
Wow! I'm not much of a hiker, but this looks well worth it. Will give it a shot next time in Vallarta.
We've done this hike many times. Thanks!
Great video. Thx for posting.
Nice hike
so did you arrange for the water taxi or did you just flag him down? What time does the last panga leave?

Do you recommend this hike in late July or is it too hot?

Did the boat taxi make anyone seasick?
