This is such an AWESOME 🙌🏼video. . . .quite interesting too. Thanks so much for sharing this w/us 1Tale4 Paws.
“Hello!” 😂😂
I love how birds are always like look at me! when your doing something else but as soon as you give them center stage they get all shy like "oh nevermind"🤗❤️🐥
1Tale4Paws My Conures do this when I'm on the phone with my fiance (their dad) he's gone quit a bit for work and they always grab at my phone like they're trying to bust him out of the tiny box his voice is coming out of lol or my oldest guy will just get really close to my mouth and whisper soft murps into the phone. When people ask me what it's like having Conures I always say that it's like having a very articulate 3 year old that never grows up an constantly needs your full an undivided attention, they are such complex little creatures 😀😅
LOVE YOU SISTER LOVE YOUR BIRD!
I love your birds. I'm a huge lover of birds. I had an African grey parrot when I was 15 and sadly I wasn't as ready as I thought I was at the time for the responsibility so my mother forced me to rehome her. Now I'm older and once I'm fully ready with my bird set up I plan on getting an African grey again. They are my spirit animal. I absolutely adore them. Your birds are beautiful. I'm also impressed you were able to take on such a huge responsibility at 17.
Love Max’s dance! She’s awesome! ♥️ And she and Poncho are beautiful. Thanks for the video. Sammy laughing so cute...
I Like All The Bird Talk In The Background. I Was Going To Get Me A McCaw July 2022, I Looked Up Some Info, & It Sounded Like Everything They Do Would Be Stressful, For Meeting Each Other A First Time.
Having Macaws can be quite stressful period (any hours for that matter lol). They love screaming just for fun, and our neighbors down the street can hear them, even with our windows and doors closed lol. They also love throwing food everywhere, can destroy furniture and molding if not supervised, and will always have the potential to bite. Not saying never to have one, but definitely need to go into it knowing what to expect 😂
I needed this after having my mouse pass away on my hands today. Next weekend I may bring home a new parakeet who is at a shelter near me. My two would enjoy a new buddy
New sub here😊 I love the care you give these amazingly beautiful birds!!!
Regurgitating and mating behavior comes from all the beak and under the wing touching. Probably also the feathers went for same reason, hormones working.
I would love to see more parrot videos. I also have parrots and ferrets and get a kick out of knowing there's someone out there like me!
I have budgies now. I can’t wait to add to my flock. I want macaws but don’t have space for them so may get mini macaws
Budgies are really great! They can actually be amazing talkers, and can learn tricks! I had budgies when I was younger, and really loved them! The only downside with them is their shorter lifespans :(
they are sooo amazing!
Gorgeous birds!!
It is really amazing that birds have different voices to me!😂
Lolll my macaw started laughing at the end when the rest of the birds were laughing
How cute... The birds
Hello! I found you through Sushi and Runt through your Christmas Collaboration. This is such a very cool video. I love your Macaws!
5:55 LMAO was that real? it sounded like some old lady off-screen doing her best parrot impression
LOL it was real! That was Sammy, a Severe Macaw we were fostering for a bit. One of the best talkers, but was also very mean lol
Such beautiful birds 🥰
I just subscribed. I am learning about birds, been absorbing info. I was taking care of my mom she had muscular dystrophy, She transitioned 13 days ago. I miss her, and miss caring for someone all day. I will get a resue, just looking around at this time. I'm lonely now all day alone sucks.
Wonderful parrots nice colors
Awesome 👏
Love the macaws and the pandora necklace ....my wife wont wear hers she also is doing everything she can to talk me out of a greenwing lol il win
My favorite part was when poncho said boom after you whistled
Max is stressed out mainly because she doesn't seem to be given many options of when to play/be touched that's something you should ask to do not force. I suggest you watch the birdtricks channel for tips on this
I noticed you rubbing your B&G on his belly and under his wings as well as along his outer wings. I was told by several bird owners as well as read online that doing that causes him/her to be stressed out and they can start plucking feathers and acting out. It is sexual stimulation to a bird to rub it anywhere below its neck and above its feet. They fall in love with their owner and get very sexy acting for their species. My Blue and Gold brings his food back up to feed me, he tries to lick my face and up and down my arms with his tongue, he also taps his beak against my hand and tries to cuddle down in my lap and masturbate or while on my arm. I am so glad I found out about why and what was going on with him. I no longer allow him in my laundry room to pull all the linen onto the floor and him make a cozy nest, and I watch where I put my hands to pet him.
She hit you with that long philosophical response lmao XD
💙Lucky!💙 I♡Ur animals!
Cutie
gorgeous animals, have you ever thought into flights?
@@PawsToJourney
Jamie & Dave have their channel on UA-cam called Bird Tricks and give advice on all sorts including free flight training. Could be helpful to check them out... 👌💖🌏🌻
Awwww. They’re amazing!
Enjoyed watching this clip and I look forward to seeing the rest of your clips too. Love those 2 gorgeous birds❣ Just a quick question... the best clue about whether a bird is Male or Female is that the females lay eggs, once they reach maturity 😉 Has either Max or Poncho ever laid an egg ??? Hugs to all, from NZ 💝🌞💖🌏🌻
WOW! You’ve just solved one of the worlds greatest mysteries for me. Unbelievable. 🤯
Me and my wife are getting a macaw, and we’re young of age,20 and 21, so I guess it’s good, after the paperwork we get her and next week we will have her
Mako Haworth how is the bird?😊
We have two Sun Conures. We are getting a Greenwing in 30 days.. All birds are between 5-4-6 month old. Can we let them hang out in the bird room . We will not cage the Green wing but the Suns have avery large cage. I spend quality time daily playing with and training the Suns.
My mom has 4 macaws 2 african greys and one other i cant remember but we just call him a buzz(thats his name) but her oldest macaw is a brat and totally attached to her.. this last time i visited her i was letting her know we were almost packed and ready to go(while holding my 17 month olds hand) and as i turned to leave her room i thought her youngest bird flew to me like he had done 4 times during my visit.. nope it was her girl who pecked my head and then swung down to start attacking my 17 month old... i threw my other hand up and she bit me 4-6 times before my mom got over to us... i have to say i have never been so scared in my life of an animal... i have owned 5 foot snakes, pittbulls, chihuahuas, my brother had a tarantula.. and these birds are scary!!! BUT! with that one of her birds i love with all my heart she chose me and i love her! Its weird loving something thst scares you the most
1Tale4Paws yes she scared me for sure but he loved her and they would cuddle and then i would cuddle my 5 foot ball python and he was scared of her XD it was a weird time in our house
I just found your channel and I have SO many questions!!! I have a rescue Green Wing... And I'm a real novice... Hope I can hit you up with some questions....?!?!
When she start pulling off her feather?
What about your 4th bird?
what breed is the bird talking in the background? is it a cockatoo?
I though I was clicking on a video to hear talking parrots. I was wrong.
What do you feed them?
I have the green wing
You dont put them upside down. If you want to own such an exotic bird you dont force them to do shit, there is boundaries.
"Shes my naked chicken"
I’m getting a blue and gold from Grandma I would love tips on making a good bond
Please see my comment below - Macaws need lots and lots and lots and lots of personal interactions (and they are definitely worth it!!!) Regarding the bonding - Take your time and the more time spent with them, the better it will go. Don't force it - the bird will tell you if it is comfortable with how you are proceeding. Use (healthy) treats to make friends. Ask Grandma what the bird likes. Be sure to provide fresh fruits of some kinds - again ask Grandma. Bonding could take weeks or months. They tend to prefer one sex of humans over the other. Since you and Grandma are both females, that's a good start. And please don't keep the birds locked up in a small cage where he or she can't spread her wings. Let the bird spend the most time outside. Get a good bird stand -a s large as your dwell allows. I hope you don't trim the bird's wings - that is very cruel and illogical since people are attracted to bird in part because of their magical ability to live in 3 dimensions - unlike ourselves. There are lots of good UA-cams on how to treat Macaws and help them adapt to new surroundings. Probably unnecessary to say , so my apologies in advance, remember, they are not toys - they are sentient and loving beings.

Macaws require nearly full time attention. Without it, they feather pluck as seen for the blue and gold in this video. Unless you are prepared to be figuratively nearly “married” to your macaw, giving them nearly full time attention, you will destroy the beauty that attracted you to macaws. Macaws are perhaps the WORST pets in the worlds - and not for the reason you probably assume. They are among the most loving creatures that you will ever encounter in this life. If you don’t have the opportunity to provide full time attention, please don’t destroy these lovely beings.
@@edmaggio9532 I have had my birds for 2yrs now and there doing great always out and getting attention from me and my hubby also my blue and gold has this odd relationship with my one dog....he kisses her if he screams she comes runing like I got u who I got fight for you
How much are the big birds
Can You post more
I have a jenday conure named sunny
Touching anywhere below the neck is very sexual to bird. It causes sexual frustration and can lead to many problems for the bird.
I’m not judging, just wanted to let you know.
Hi, I just to tell you something about your blue parrot.
This parrot steel young, The place you get her,.
She not a good place, she very stressed and the owner give her everything, like(chocolate, Coca-Cola and more things, it is not good for herself, because that she lose the frever(hair).
Only two things can happen to her.
Tried to give her proper food, she needs,. ✌️
😂
Max is probably sexually frustrated
@@PawsToJourney Excellent, happy to help :)
Well after attending lots of classes it seems you are actually sexually frustrating your bird and that is probably why she plucked her feathers.
🙄 these birds are living a great life
I find when I see birds that have plucked and they're in a good home they are usually female, females sometimes tend to pluck during nesting seasons then it becomes a habit
But I agree she should only pet her head
um, he resorted to self mutilation and has plucked all his feathers (the b and g) , that means you aren't giving him enough attention and neglecting him.
1Tale4Paws I see. Just trying to make sure they're getting good care :)
@@PawsToJourney your birds are spectacular and I applaud you for sharing and admitting you had to learn the hard way some of the issues that can easily be encountered when parenting thease creatures. They look/ sound happy healthy and content. Thank you for sharing you birds with us. Xxxx( haters please leave as you are needed elsewhere .....not. bye though xx)
