Hi everyone 👋 Thanks for watching, if you have any questions let us know in the comments. Our repair is wearing well and is ideal for a quick cost effective fix.
Our floor is fibreglass and we are thinking of putting laminate click flooring on top of it. What do you think Oh Guru Gary? Would that work? Waiting with a worm on my tongue for your reply!
🤣 so I've got the response from Guru Gary who says "it's a great idea but if you're raising the level of the floor, even a fraction, you need to consider planing down cabinets that might drag or not open because of it" hope that helps? 💕
Yeah, I don't see this lasting long, I'll need to completely remove the flooring at the habitat door on my motorhome as it's gone soft where the steps bolt on..think it's too far gone for any sort of impregnation repair goo..bit of a nightmare, bad timing for us.. temporary we are going to B and Q to buy some wood to lay over from the door edge to the bathroom just so we don't make it worse , and ordered sperate caravan steps as we can't use the motorized motorhome steps 🙄
Oh we feel your pain, you're doing the right thing to overlay with some bits of wood to make sure it doesn't get worse, but the location where the steps bolt on make it a bit tricky for a quick repair, good luck though.
@@anewlifeinthevan yeah, it doesn't help that we are getting evicted in 2 months as landlords selling house, so me my wife, our 2 cats will get living in the van until we can get accommodation, not easy when your 53, in poor health, can't work, rotten floor..I think this is the worst, most stressful time of my life..any..you don't want to hear my shit ..ok M8 👍

A really useful temporary and cheap repair until you can get it permanently sorted.
Absolutely, our repair is still going strong 3 months in, we will do a more permanent repair later on in the year.
Well explained Gary a good quick fix 👍👍
Thanks very much guys, appreciate the positive feedback 🤩
Can I use the excuse of an expanding foam spillage for my ever increasing waistline.... again, asking for a friend.
🤣 I think we'll all be using that excuse Phil 🤣🤣
