I've done this very repair on my own caravan (1994 Lunar Planet Saturn) and I even used the same green single stage resin. Mine had been done before and going by the newspapers that were put down during that repair, it had lasted longer than the original floor!
Hi Simon, the drill bit was taped off at around 30mm. make a test hole until you get through the foam and that's your depth. Thanks for the question mate.
I literally just drilled through the floor very slowly until it felt like i was going through the foam and just kept going through until i started to feel the resistance of the bottom board...VERY SLOWLY!!
@@Cleggaz Thanks for reply was it water damage and spongy or just a bit bouncy I have found a small area in my camper luckily behind a sink so not visible do you think it would fix this ?
@@waynetaylor7285 Mine was because it was old and just went spongy over time so no water damage. Is it a big area that's spongy? I know it's a pain in the arse but would it be best to replace the flooring and insulation? I'd just be worried about mould growing and spreading. But if you're not bothered then the stuff I used would do the job.
BEWARE!! - Drilled the holes to do mine today - turns out some caravans have electrical wires running in the floor - mine is one of them!! Think I've gone through the cable to my water heater - another thing to add to the list!!

Do you put dowels in first or last?
Hi, did you just need the one bottle and do you have to drill all the way through the insulating layer to the base floor? Thanks.
Hi graham, sorry its taken a while to get to you. I did only use the one bottle yes.
i did have to drill through the insulation layer.
How did you find out how deep it was to the bottom of the insulation layer?

After watching you explain what the product does you then quickly skipped through the process of it's application. Not useful at all!
