I went low carbohydrate then keto then basically carnivore during 2020. I went from 136kg down to 70kg reversed my anxiety and gained control over the PTSD that had crippled me for years it completely changed my life. Because of it i was able to travel again for the first time in over a decade, got married and now planning to start a family.
I hear a lot people say that about homeschooling as well. These life changes are not as complicated as people think. The system that has been in placed is just more complicated than it needs to be & ends up trapping everyone in a cycle they think they can't step out of. It's the simplicity that is so beautiful about how these things work.
What I have heard from people home-schooling is that you need just a fraction of the time to teach the children all they need to know. The rest can be used to teach them how to grow crops, rear animals, have open discussions, art, music, walks in nature etc etc. You know, the things that make live interesting.
Hi Dave! Hard to find anyone who gets only a small improvement on Carnevore because it works sooooo well for everyone who tries and gives it a shot and most make such huge progress even in a short time like my self 100 days in to it.
49 years old, 3 months carnivore, NAFLD/pre-diabetes, got my liver function test results today, *all* values in range (GGT, AST, ALT), that has never been the case before! \o/
63 year old grandmother had to do something to be able to continue working hard physically in a factory on my feet 8 hours a day. Had 1 knee replaced in February. Was planning on the other knee being replaced this winter. I didn't want to go through that again! Besides the terrible osteoarthritis throughout my body. Started carnivore in August my arthritis pain is gone and my other knee feels fine! Have lost 35 pounds so far, but that is just a bonus in my book! 4:39
A lot of people want some kind of magic to happen; without making any effort, or different choices; like maybe God would just step in and wipe the slate clean. Even if God was to intervene in that way, people want to do as they please, including myself! There's always a price to pay , and you do that every day no matter what. I cut off the pasta, rice, bread 90%, cookies, pie, cake, etc. Perfection may not happen for a while , maybe years. I still have coffee with a little milk when I want; even a hot cocoa in winter. But it's a far cry from the way it used to be. I'm not suffering over it. Used to get on the scale almost every day and have " what the hell " moments all the time. Not anymore. Watched my family members deal with diabetes, and dementia. That is my road sign now. I will be my own long term study. And maybe gain a better life in the long run.
The spiritual aspect of Carnivore is a must to understand . We need more people talking about it. Flora kingdom has always been venerated in human history. Druids with it´s trees is an example. Fauna kindom has it´s own way protecting it self and when it comes to hunting in ancient times it was a fair fight. Flora kindom is fragile and needs to be protected. Vegans talk about cruelty and lack of spirituality in the Carnivore community but in my opinion it´s the other way around. I would rather have a good fair and square hunt ( as it should be ) rather than cook, slice, chop, fry and rip apart a living sentient being because I want to consume the most holy energy of our planet. A long time ago people understood Flora kingdom as the great protector and asked for help when needed. Now days most humans are cruel to our coexisting companions. Sorry for my English, it´s not my native language. Peace.
Only 9 weeks here. Hoping to get rid of my Hashimoto's. My cholesterol is crazy high over 500 at one point. Now in the 400's. We'll see what carnivore does for that. The first thing I noticed was I felt happy. Not that I thought I was depressed. I remember saying wow, I feel happy and I don't feel anxious about anything! I lost 10 lbs in 10 days and then it slowed down. I'm losing inches even though the scale is slow. My husband keeps saying how pretty I am. LOL My face thinned out and my skin looks better. I have zero pain. I turn 60 in December and I haven't felt this good for years and years. I've suffered with back pain, fatigue and never felt completely normal taking Synthroid. Hoping to be able to get off of it. I've already lowered my dose when I went low carb. Another thing I noticed is that I have total control over any cravings. It's just not that hard to say nope, not going to eat that. I love meat so this isn't that hard at all for me. I feel so satiated, the thought of a snack is nope, I'm good. It's the fountain of youth!
I've lost "only" 5 kg, but all my health problems have disappeared and I've built a bunch of muscle 😄. I used to have very bad eczema, gone in 3 months. Doc thought it was because I was doing more sports 🤣
For me, the biggest step up has been going from iodine deprive to reach full body saturation. That was amazing, but going carnivore has been great, but not as a massive improvement as previously stated. Though I must admit that I way stronger, have more energy in the gym, but not immune to overtraining as Dr Chaffee seems to give the impression of. My weight loss hasn't been amazing less than 8kg in 11months, but my muscles have gained in size even after training for more than 20 years.
Unfortunately same same in Germany. 🇩🇪 I’am just at the very first beginnig with my Carnivore 🥩expérience, but feels great. Maybe I’ll connect u soon …Thanx 4 your work, very inspiring 👌🏻
#2 from me Please can you find some way of referencing your interviews by the health condition that has been improved. Perhaps you already have tags that would improve search efficiency? Being able to send links to people with the same conditions that you have covered would be good.
I found out early on that even with tags, keywords, headlines, etc. that UA-cam search doesn't work well enough to find things. However, there is another site you can use to search on things (or you can ask me to do it and I'll find videos for you). The site is filmot.com - you can search on a keyword and it searches all video transcripts on a selected channel.
I'm likely to contact you in the next few weeks: did carnivore for 7 months, good results, then broke my ribs and messed it all up with junk food, and now back and only at 30 days and want to get some more time under my belt. Talk soon.
I live in Japan Nagoya, there's some good deals online I bought red meat, you can can check some Brazilian store they sell meat from Australia, I'm in this journey about 2weeks, I need more time to adjust my gut then I definitely wanna share my story thanks 🙏🏻
hi i am a japanese in tokyo. dirty ketogenic i would say. i try to avoid sugar and fake food. eating meat is not that expensive actually. maybe only rum is very expensive and deer. (but deer is not common i think
But do the Japanese, in general, really need the Carnivore diet? I'm sure some of them do but I just don't think of them as being nearly as fat sick and exhausted as American, European, Middle Eastern, Australian, Chinese, Australian, Mexican or South Sea Islanders. But I could be wrong.
I’m waiting for more results before I start running my big mouth about it. So far there’s only been 1 result I’ve really really noticed. And that’s my sleep has improved noticeably. I can sleep for hours at a single time now. I do think I am less hungry between meals but I still get cravings. I’m waiting to cross out 1 or 2 more things on my why list before I start sharing all my opinions.
Most of your guests have lots of weight to lose, then carnivore is more of a no brainer. I would like to see more people like myself who cant afford to lose much or any weight. But I have several autoimmune issues and advanced emphysema. But even I find a nugget or 2 of helpful info from most of your videos. Thank you for maki g them.
I Had Severe SIBO was on carnivore for 2 weeks dying-off symtoms lasted 3-4 days from day 3-7, after 14 days I started L reuteri and I got back into normal diet without any side effects only bloating and I'm sure if I continued carnivore even Bloating would be no problem (I didn't because I couldn't eat enough as needed, I was failing to maintain body fat above 8%, that also isn't a problem if you have enough money to get beef, pork and fish everyday).
Perhaps, for balance, you should also encourage reports of failures on a carnivore diet? One common criticism being that you only hear the good news, there may be just as many failures! We all assume that there aren't because it has worked so well in our own experience.
The only fails I have read are from people who were to far gone, but they still got benefits from low carb moderate protein high fat , salt is really important too, but you'd be hard pressed to find someone outside of to far gone that can come back to good health, I think it is these people not making the connection ,
Maybe also invite people who have not had good results on carnivore, or who had to quit for one reason or another, to come on your show and tell their story too, that way there's a balance. I think this would attract even more views.
Do you mean stories like this: I did Keto/ketovore for a year and carnivore for 2 weeks.I lost 4 stone, reversed type 2 diabetes, my kidney function improved. Going carnivore felt like I had restricted myself too much and it triggered the eating disorder I have struggled with all my life. I fell off the keto/carnivore wagon, put the weight back on over the year and now type 2 diabetes is back with a vengeance. I've been living in a house with mould for 5 years and my health has nose dived. I'm starting again with keto and will work slowly towards carnivore.

If you haven't tried cutting the plants out of your food for a couple of months, you don't truly know what optimal health feels like!

Goodmorning Dave, I'm watching but not really awake yet 😊

Didn't know you live in Japan !
Almost 19 years now!
Why did you move to Japan?
@@washington9347 I wanted a change and it's very easy to live here so I stayed.
@@zerocarb How did you learn the language?

I fear that the more people who go carnivore, the harder it will be for us to buy meat.
What is a Brit doing in Japan? Is your story on one of your videos?
He’s not British. I think he’s Australian.
Haven't got a full story about how I ended up in Japan... I need to make one.
Dave's an Aussie!

Do you speak fluent japanese? Like, did you go there not knowing any at first
Sushi means carnivore. Rice have almost no energy in it. So carnivore diet combined with rice starving (fasting).
