I've tried numerous solutions for this they all fail when the heat within the car rises while parked in the sun. Eventually, the heat overcomes the adhesive on the double bakced tape, or the velcro strip and the door falls open. I have begun holding the door closed with my elbow, with the driver door orpen, and then locking the car with the key. The door stays shut until I unlock the car. My car is a convertable. Wondering if you or anyone on this channel have had this solution fail as I've decribed???
How to order it and ship it to Italy? It seems impossible to have it in my country. Can you at least buy it for me and send it? I know it's a strange question but I have the same problem on my car and I don't know how to fix it

I mounted an appropriate size magnet and plate that solved the problem....
