We revived our Losi DBXL E 2.0 after some major mistreatment. Add some upgrades and some well needed TLC…. #horizonhobby #losi #tlr #knfilters #rclife #family #fun
dayum, great deal on that! those batteries and remote alone are almost $400 retail, not to mention you got the truck for half the price! i gotta get some road wheels for mine, those look like fun. i'd love to go wild in a big paved parking lot and smoke those up
Hey man nice buggy! Those hood pins are always hard to line up. Gotta kinda feel up in there as closing it. The sides of the cage also engage the side guards. Keep up the vids man!! 5th scale is where it's at!!
Going to say part of the problem also was the different size tires the noise it was making under braking was gears trying to skip. Great video tho always enjoy watching.
They are the mad max tires. You can get them from DDM. The 18t makes it run hot. It has a 16t. No overheating. Should have another video out with the current changes and setup
@818_Custom_Garage funnily enough i took my frint drivectrain out, run it 2wd put nobbly tyres on the back and use it for offroad drag runs now and i love it, i did it after the steering went to pot, i dont think ill go back to 4wd tbh its more fun
Great deal, but their very weak! I got one from Germany. 12s very fast but every time I take it out bashing I end up spending a pretty penny repairing everything. Diffs are crap. Chassis bends very easy, making it hard to close body. Front drive cups are also very weak. In all its a nice buggie shame it wasn't built stronger
I don’t think it can handle more than 8s for sure. And the chassis is ok so far. I think if it’s kept to more of a racer/driver it should last. I think it would be good if someone came out with a full length chassis brace
Nice work buddy 👍 Nice to meet you 😂

Thanks for the positive vibes!! Definitely get some road tires. Saves the abuse on the off road tires

Thank you for the positivity!! It’s a super fun buggy. Working on some minor tweaks and will have more vids out soon!!
@@818_Custom_Garage subbed
@@SteelCityRC you rock!! I subbed as well
I always have to mess with mine to get my hood on since new.
Thats a good deal. I got a good deal too but on gas dbxl just $450 with upgrades the best parts i got is the bartolone pipe and mad max tires too
Awesome deal!!!! They sure are fun
Great clean up. On mine a put a max 5 g2 stock motor and on 12s 13/50 gears.
Nice!!! We may be upgrading to the max5 in the future

It’s best to upgrade the ESC to the Hobbywing Max5. When you fit the 18t pinion gear.
Nice find 👍🏻
Totally agree…that is most likely in the future!! Thank you for the recommendation
what a mess-nice work
It was worth it for sure. It is a blast and can’t wait to share more on it
Looks good😇
what offroad tires are you running? did you change to 18T pinion? did it overheat going offroad?? thanks

@@818_Custom_Garage appreciate it!
Running odd sized wheels on 4x4 definitely not a good idea 😂
@@nathancoombes260 totally agree 💯

Is it true? They’re discontinuing the dbxl e 2.0?
I haven’t heard. It’s a great platform. Needs a little better chassis and I think it would be epic
