They need more revenue since businesses are leaving the city.
They need to start pulling over vehicles with expired tags, expired temporary plates, no plates, etc.
that would alienate liberal blue wave voters
That might pose a different kind of danger to the enforcers.

The priority is to start generating revenue because we’re broke since all of the businesses and workers left due to increased crime, and SFMTAs failed pedestrian and bike safety “improvements”.
How about catching criminals?
They only want to make money
They need to focus on the Uber, Lyft and Doordash drivers. I've never seen worse drivers.

He said "at least 10 crashes in the last 2 years". So at the minimum these intersections have a car crash every few months. That's not nothing...you 🤡
That's only 8.3 "reported" crashes per month at 10 sites. No mention of severity either. Check out SFMTA Traffic Report. based off 2020- 2022 shows only 6550 reported accidents city wide. Plus 2700+ injuries. More importantly check out page 2 with chart. The biggest laugh is "stand up device" injures increasing 213% which is Idiots on scooters...😅
This news reporting is just another puff peice to worn drivers SF needs money and they are out to tax you while attempting to drive in SF. Last thing to mention is intersection at Mission and 9th last fataility was the result of traffic attendant waving on a driver who struck a stroller. Settlement agreement covered in the news a few days ago.
They need to post themselves at certain intersections and see all these drivers run stop signs- it is INSANE

AKA the city needs more money
How about pulling people over that have tinted windshields and drive with their high beams on because they weren't smart enough to think about how doing that would negatively effect their night time driving. Not only are they putting themselves in danger since they can't see but also others since oncoming vehicles will be blinded by there high beams.

It won’t work… There is a culture of bad driving in San Francisco that has been tolerated forever and the cops really don’t want to do anything about it. I’ve lived here 37 years and I’ve seen approximately five tickets being written in San Francisco… if you ask any individual police man or woman why the traffic is so dangerous here they’ll give you a whole laundry list of excuses, but the bottom line is they don’t want to get out of their car to write a ticket…and please, let’s not even talk about asking them to walk the beat… they hate that more than anything

Incredible SFPD doesn’t prevent until something happens! I have been requesting several times to have a four way STOP sign on Kirkham and 26th and I feel Kirkham and 21st also needs a four way STOP sign too. Having a stop sign at least the cars will slow down but it doesn’t mean the cars will STOP! Cars treat me as invisible on those corners! Could you imagine if a senior or a child cross that street. I always makes sure the car has a full stop before crossing! I always tell my children cars have no eyes, but you do. Make sure the cars stop before crossing.
I just assume all cars will not STOP at STOP signs. Go with that and you’ll be ok.
How about enforcing all laws.

Traffic camera is more effective and efficient. Police can't be there 24x7 but the camera can.
Problems with all law enforcement is they act when lots of people get killed or get accident and lots of complaint not before.. this shouldn't be act of force

You know a better, cheaper (over time), self-enforcing, and safer option other than relying on humans with bias: automated speed cameras. Or, how about design streets correctly in the first place.
