- Alastair Campbell, Labour's former director of communications, says he does not believe the Conservative Party will be "virtually wiped out" in the upcoming general election - despite what recent opinion polls indicate.
Absolutely right Alistair. Don't count your chickens.
This man is completely hated in the UK by a lot of people in the UK.
Alistair Campbell is not hated by me.
By whom? His podcast is the number one in the charts. He is not hated by me. Maybe its just you that has an issue with him??
Evidence?
@keithsmith4215 Blair lackey. Enough said. Blair, the war criminal, and WEF stooge. I suppose you all love the WEF as well. Full of establishment lackeys.
@@JHatLpool he is a war criminal.
We don’t have proportional representation so we can’t vote for who we want! I’m voting Reform! ❤❤❤
Campbell should be in the Hague along with his mate blair, i hate the pair of them.
I dont believe these poll numbers either. I mean I'm a lifelong tory voter, and i utterly LOATHE the tories now, and i cannot believe there are still people out there who will vote for them in numbers sufficient to get them more than 10 - 20 seats ...
Campbell has had mental health issues........he's still got them. Why isn't he in prison regarding the Iraq war?
Oh Jeepers ... Alastair Campbell worries that the UK is being hoodwinked by pollsters ! Ha ha ha. Here is a man who made public manipulation his brand and we're having to listen to this twaddle ? The only reason he's out today is because there's a slump away from Labour and he's trying to shore up their vote. He, even more than Blair, made me despise politics in the late 90's/00's. He went from offering everyone the world on a plate to telling everyone they had to be realistic, to ignoring public opinion in one career ... and isn't that not exactly where we are today with Keir Starmer ? Blair and Campbell have their blood soaked fingers all over this election ... and everyone should just think about that before casting their very valuable votes.
What person in their right nind would vote that starmer in. Bonkers
What Campbell isn't acknowledging is that the electorate is much more volatile and less tribal when it comes to political allegiances. In 2019 safe Labour seats went Conservative. People voted Conservative who would never have dreamed of doing so hitherto. This is now happening in reverse where no Conservative seat is safe. The Labour Party was lucky last time that it retained its grip in urban ethnic areas. The Conservatives now have no bedrock of support except among the wealthier old people.
Maybe Campbell should have drilled down the same amount on the Dodgy Dossier.
He kind of shows his true colours here as an establishment tool. When thinking of him, not as a Labour man, but as an establishment man, his sentiments suddenly begin to make sense. His priorities are establishment power, not party. This is why he can not stomach the idea of Tory extinction because the Tories, while they may be political opponents of Labour, are an establishment party at the end of the day.
Campbell who cares about him really?
War Criminal Campbell.
Who cares what Blair or Campbell say.
Both should be in Prison should be tried as Traitors and War Criminals
Couldn't agree more.
'Alastair Campbell' 😂
If you love your country VOTE REFORM🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Sorry, not into fascism
Me either
Love people who don't understand what fascism is.
I remember the election of 1992. Neil Kinnock victory walk along the sea.
“alright!”
If you want trans rights to women's spaces or high immigration or high taxes or carry on with an inefficient NHS vote labour or Conservative. If not vote Reform.
There won't be an NHS under Farage. No public funds, just an increasing gap between the rich and the rest of us.
😂😂Alister 🤡going’s to have a shock on the 5th 😢😢😢😢
I doubt anybody is going to have a shock on the 5th.
Campbell is a political dinosaur, he was one of the main instigators to open our borders to the rest of the world
A pillock
Nonsense.
Campbell is good

I supported Reform from the day they started and was mocked by family / friends. They now tell me that they are thinking of voting Reform. A tremendous surge of support for Reform is growing as people are starting to question the bull spouted by the WEF influenced LibLabCon establishment, BBC and mainstream media.
People lie about voting tory
why is this thing being wheeled out again ?
He seems to be turning into Nicholas Witchell
vote reform
no
He hasn't factored in that the last election was a one issue election which the tories would not have won without it being billed as brexit election for months.. the second referendum vote actually won but was spit over 4 parties so the tories got a majority... Since then more and more people have changed their minds on brexit and even lifelong tory voters are disillusioned.
The far left drift of Labour under Corbyn was also a major issue.
@@Rich-ng3yy I think he was pretty left - a lot of old fashioned 1970s economic policy in particular. But putting aside, I think he was severely lacking in political skills and strategy. A more skillful politician who had similar views probably would have been able to make himself seem less far left and/or less scary. He also would have been able to sidestep the antisemitism charges far more adeptly, and would have had the foresight to try to not to have had the Brexit issue get mixed in with the election. People warned him that the Conservatives were planting a trap by getting the election to be a Brexit election, and he walked right into it. The position he ended adopting on Brexit (renogatiate an agreement, but not campaign for it in another referendum) was also bizarre, noncommittal, and most importantly, from a political standpoint, indecisive.
Oh God......a remoaner getting Brexit in somehow.
Shocking.
It's not 1945 though is it... or maybe it is in the minds of conservatives.
Labour will form the next government with a hefty majority. There is absolutely no doubt about that.
Vote Reform save our country RIP Labour and the Con socialist
nope
I never thought i agree with Alistair Campbell, i think polls should stop the day the election is called
Only thing he said that should be taken to heart is that he hopes Liz Truss loses her seat
I genuinely haven't met anyone who's voting Labour it's all Reform!
Same here iv got a feeling reform could pull it out the bag
And I haven't met a single Reform voter
@@simonthompson7940 you probably live in a left wing bubble
@@simonthompson7940 hello I'm voting reform
It depends on the sort of friends that you mix with.
This guy is the reason for the ReformUK movement in the first place. The more he comes out during this campaign the more people will vote ReformUK
Correct
Yes. Thankfully it's going wrong for those who thought they had every avenue sewn up.
As with the Matrix, the trouble for those who wish to control everything is freedom of choice of the individual.
Reform
I've never hit 'Subscribe' so fast.
Why?
Campbell is an absolute pariah. However I agree with him on the polls.
I every single poll wrong.
I agree Labour turnout will be lower than polls suggest simply because likely labour voters they will win hands down.
Some conservatives may also rally round their flag.
The question mark is SNP v Labour. SNP will take a hit due to internal strife but how big?
