Love the video, looks so good! I have a question about Dal I was hoping you can help with. Most recipes I see cook the plain dal and water separately and then you later add in your tadka and flavorings/ spices/etc. Is there a reason people do it this way? Does the dal get creamier if it is cooked by itself? Could you just start with a base of frying onion and garlic and spices in ghee then adding your lentils and cooking it? Thank you!
Sure you can do that too that is called Dal tadka made with plain dal. This is dal kichadi made with a combination of dal and rice. So it's 2 different recipes.

Recepe achi banai apne but same chij agar hindi me sajhai hoti to bohot acha hota....engish bolne se apka standrad badhe ka...you tube chanels ka bussiness nd followers nahi...
