Moving a USB port to the side was truly a ... *side* grade
🤣
💀💀💀🍔🍔🗿🧇🍔😎😨🍔👍💀😎🤨🤨🤨💀💀
this joke should be illegal, nah jk.

Love that pun😂😂💔
I'm literally watching this video on that PC 😂
That's so funny 😁

😂😂😂
lmao!!
The reason it says 3 USB 3.0 ports ( even though it shouldn't be included ) is because it is the way the Webcam is connected. The Webcam is connected basically directly to the USB 3.0 port, even though their is no physical USB 3.0 Port. If you look at device manager, the Webcam will be labeled ad "USB webcam". So basically the PC sacrifices one port to make the Webcam work. This is weird though, because normally they don't include the Webcam USB as a USB itself
how do you know this????
@@bruhyeet8625 it the designer
@Bruh Yeet because there is a version of this all-in-one without the Webcam and it actually has 3 USB 3.0 ports, so that probably applies to the model in the video
Most laptops also use USB as internal connections for webcams, or touchscreens, or even audio connections.
🤓
It is the RAM. Ryzen hates single channel memory. If they just used dual channel RAM, the performance across the board would jump up 20-30% at least.
Austin didn't get into it, but I would to know if this has a memory upgrade trap door since if it has a second slot, you can make this OK for an extra $30.
Agreed - my laptop bumped up nearly 30% in performance by adding more RAM; give the 3250U more RAM and it will come alive!
hell the fact that most comapnies don't do duel channel is dumb
We did not even see the task manager shot of that pc 😐😐😐
That's the exact thought I had some dual channel 3400mhz or so or just run xcloud on it
It has upgradable ram, only one of the two ram slots is populated
I’m a service technician and have to update the firmware and demos for laptops and pcs in Best Buy’s staples Walmart targets etc this AIO is the bane of our existence our bosses tell us to skip these and don’t bother with them because they’re either so slow they can’t even bring up file explorer or take two hours to do a fresh install lmao
Austin doesn’t seem to be his usual jovial self. Thanks a lot hp!
What is innovation? HP never disappoints us by answering that question
☠
Who is innovation?
not only that but they have an all in one desktop that omen branded
@@kingjaypacking6837Asus is just better
@@Genny_Woo they dont have one
to be fair is quite common to get all-in-one in Malaysia, HP & Lenovo have the best ones
plus you're only currently exploring the older ones, theres plenty which already runs 12th gen intel
Replacable power supplies are great because they are a wear item, now if only you could replace the other wear items like the fan and storage(probably possible but not always)
Only cheap ones wear out though.
@@cgwworldministries83 100% of power supplies will fail
@@denvera1g1 i buy new pcs every couple of years. It’s such a nonissue.
@@cgwworldministries83 A non issue until it randomy dies on you, maybe your fault, a child, or a pet, and you've got to buy a new monitor instead of a new PSU

I could see this with a quad core Ryzen CPU and 16GB of RAM as a kids PC at this price, but taking this at face value, you would be better off buying a used Lenovo ThinkCentre Tiny with a quad core CPU, maxing out the RAM, adding a 256GB SSD, and coming in at around $120, assuming you already have a monitor,/TV, mouse, and keyboard for use as a basic computer running Chrome OS Flex, or a solid Linux distro like Solus w/Budgie.
youd be better buying a steam deck and buy a cheap monitor
@@dinoypeter You forgot the dock for the STEAM Deck, which by the time you do that you are well over $800, then unless you do some terminal work everytime the STEAM Deck updates itself, you loose all your desktop settings. Beside Im not about a system for major gaming just something simple to use as a basic computer for things like school, web browsing, YT, light gaming, etc.. , and the goal here is to do it for as little as possible, and more so these days when so many people are loosing their jobs, and the economy is not looking great, and with a little knowledge you can get a lot of value out of something like a used quad core Lenovo Thinkcentre Tiny desktop, or a used Thinkpad(just make sure you can get a fresh battery for it if needed before buying it).
16 gigs! Bit excessive for this kind of thing. Notice how very few machines under around 800-900 will actually have 16gb. Even the $1000+ MacBooks have 8. It's more enough for what more people will use.
new mac mini with m2 for only $599 would run loops arround this haha
I bet you can buy a second hand Mac mini M1 WITH cheap display and peripherals (same quality as included with the HP) for about $599

Videos like this one are why nobody should ever take Austin serious lol. He is however perfect if you just want a laugh. Keep up the good work. ;)
Upgraded is a little much to say
I use an HP all-in-one at work running Windows 7 with an AMD Athlon and Radeon Graphics. Talk about painful. Any one of these would be a major upgrade. It's at the point now where I have to restart it every so often just to be able to check my email. The only reason they haven't upgraded it (besides being cheap) is that the software we use won't run on newer OSs
Back in 2014 I was taking some classes at a local community college and needed a decent pc/laptop. so I went to some pawn shops and found of of these basically brand new with all the plastic still on for around $300. It was the special edition Red Beats edition with the wireless keyboard and mouse. That computer still kicks today. seen the newer ones and they don't feel the same quality as that one does. I don't use it anymore though. let my brother use it.
The basic design and pop-out camera remind me of the HP EliteOne desktops used to run the catalogue search kiosks and Internet PCs at my local library, however, the cameras on those never get used considering the environment they're in.
I can tell HP were trying to save on costs by using the same power adaptor they might have included with a Pavilion laptop and reusing the same basic design as some of their higher-end EliteOne models. I think the target market were people who just needed a basic PC, maybe if they were living in a small space.
Since you can get 4 core Ryzen Laptops with 8GB RAM for around 350€, I have no clue how they can charge so much for something that is worse
Even lenovo sell some cheap ryzen laptop with dual channel memory
I got hat 2015 all in one, found at goodwill in 2020, they thought it was a monitor and it's a little slow but an SSD and ram has made it a great bedroom computer to watch TV on
Austin: Buys a all in one computer
Also Austin: *Damn nice foam*
This all in one is good enough for everyday tasks. It can do gaming on very low settings.
You should try and make a all in one for the same budget and see if you can make it better. Would be a fun video!
HP, a school's favorite PC to stop you from doing anything other than open a Word document
Yes, you can open the word document after waiting for the start menu to open. Then it will load the loading screen.
You guys should use one of the shells, gut it and convert/upgrade it to a high powered ITX system/sleeper build. Would be a fun project.
@@official_Destiny1 silence, bot
imo it would be frustrating to get this panel to work on an itx system.
My mother and her husband has the original HP all-in-one. I do admit it is mostly enough for their use but it still annoys me to sleep in the same room with it while I am visiting. 😅
"It's not horrifically slow"
It's definitely horrifically slow
I built my own AIO unit, using an Element TV as the screen and speakers, and the internals of a Dell Precision 1700. Even with using the half-height Quadro P620, it's very useable.
We sell very similar machines at Staples, and every time we set one up for a customer I can't help but notice how incredibly slow these are right out of the box. And thats with an i5, SSD, and 8 GB RAM. Using it is painful and I hate selling them.
Just an FYI, back in 2020, i bought a Lenovo M75Q gen2 for $488, its a Mac Mini sized PC with an 8 core Ryzen 7 4750GE, you can pair that with a ~$180 1080p75 monitor, that has a party trick of having a little enclosure on the back of the monitor for the mini PC so that it acts like an all in one, but is just as servicable as a desktop, this also allows you to upgrade to new hardware later.
The monitor i bought has a built in webcam/mic as well, but the speakers are not as good as the HP, they're like little phone speakers in a deceptively large chin bezel
You could also get a M2 mac mini for 599 or a M1 for even less. At $600 there’s a lot more out there
@@eshaanagarwal6081 The Mac Mini, which i also have, started at $699 in 2020 Less powerful, more expensive, not upgradable, but a beautiful machine. Sadly Lenovo is more innovative with their Tiny-In-One monitor/PC enclosure/dock/KVM thing
Do you know how much i want an iMac like screen, with a mount on the back for me to just slot the M2 Pro Mac Mini into, and have the ports re-locate to the side, bottom, or front of the monitor? And then to be able to upgrade to the M4 later keeping the perfectly good screen/speakers/camera
@@denvera1g1 are you talking about the intel or m1?
@@poker.4203 M1
In video transcoding on the CPU the 4750GE was both faster, and more energy efficient at the wall.
However on GPU the M1 was faster and more energy efficient, but GPU failed to compress to the same file size while maintaining the same quality as both CPU tests.
Of the two GPUs the M1 Video Tool Box is far superior to AMD VCE, but CPU is far superior to both.
Maybe this test would have gone different if i had the 16GB version of the Mac Mini but i think it came down to the low thread/core count of the M1 with it having only 4 big cores and 4 little cores, with AMD having 8 medium cores, and 8 helper threads(made mostly meaningless in most use cases by the 1/2 sized cache).
I'm interested in getting the M2 Pro Mac Mini because of the much higher performance/big core count.
As an anecdote, If you take the 4750GE and compare it to a 3950X in eco mode the 3950x is more efficient despite using more than 2x the power, because it needs a dedicated GPU and larger less integrated parts than a mini PC
We have the newer one at my shop all its used for is cutting automotive tint on a plotter playing pandora and answering emails and it does it well
I like the dial up sound effect
I have an HP laptop that was $500. My niece knocked it off the table. The fan broke off. When ever the laptop gets hit where the fan piece is, the laptop just locks up, and the screen will glitch.
It’s so nice to come back from a work out Austin Evans notification
I worked at staples and this would the number 1 seller for like almost every person who goes to staples for a computer. I hated having to set this thing up. The keyboard hurt my soul.
I would say for the front desk/reception, simple Excel etc. And maybe for entry level works like browsing a receipt for cooking, or order engine parts on a workshop... Heck it's perfect for my Dad who only plays online card games...
Look, cheap laptops don't come with that larger screen (and I don't think they make anything past 17inch, not with reasonable price), and you risk batteries worn out and catch on fire.
The hilarious thing is that you can get the base model M2 Mac mini for 600 bucks 💀
HP takes such an L lmao
exactly
It says on their site that there is 2 dimm slots but only 1 is populated. I'm curious what would happen if you added another stick since ryzen loves duel channel.
My Laptop has the same processor, and I added 16GB to it. Bumped it up nearly 30% in performance by adding more RAM; give the 3250U more RAM and it will come alive!
@Leo Reaper in newer games, more ram= unlimited power! It makes very little difference in daily usage otherwise.
Those all in one HP systems we have the in our computer maintenance classes, though they seem decent enough, they can be quite slow machines!
They ok for home or office but wouldn't suggest getting it for gaming!
@Austin Evans can you review the latest highest spec, HP Envy and Pavilion AIO's. I am having trouble deciding between the two
2:23 It's more the same thing except for brightness settings differences. They made it more teal and less blue.
tbh austin my school got an updrade from like old 2003 pc to this, so its like a huge upgrade. we just do coding & google sketchup and thats about it. atleast its minimal!!!
Dang, indirectly insulting Marques 😂 Also, love the shirt.
Wow that’s so many qualities
I was working in premium car dealer and we have some open and clean space to talk with clients and for clean table look we use some kind of this tech
Austin, it's so that when the power brick dies, you dont have to rip apart the computer to fix it, also to get heat away form an already baked pc.
I bought the first model purely for writing but it's good enough for YT as well. Got it pretty cheap too. Works for my needs lol.
Hey guys there’s Austin!
This reinforces my satisfaction with the Inspiron AIO I bought in 2021. I paid $800 for my (with 2 year warranty), but got a core "I5-1135G7 CPU with 8GB RAM (that I upgraded to 24GB) a 512GB SSD, and Geforce MX150 GPU for light gaming, and haven't looked back. 2.5 years later, it's still running fine, and I keep more tabs open in Chrome than I ever bother counting. (well over 20).
Love your videos
Nobody will talk about that Slowpoke shirt he is wearing? I am loving it ☺️
I just realised this is the same model as the ones my college faculty used for the hybrid classrooms.
I have the previous pc, and it doesn't have a celeron, i think it has a g or h processor, its good cou and good screen real estate. Very good for digital art and 2d graphic design, abd also good for beginner blender stuff
Holy action camera judder, Batman!
I remember watching that original video! Easily one of ur best
Damn! That's fast lol
This seems like the perfect library pc
Austin! I'll take the older one(White). It still gonna be an upgrade from where my Acer Travelmate B11M laptop that I'm using(Yeah, my laptop is embarrassing. lol).
I still have the first gen of this PC, it takes 15mins before u get to the desktop, another 7mins to open up the Internet, another 4mins for the internet to load the home page, another 3mins to load the next web page you search total it takes me 29mins+ just to get to the web page I want (without even starting what I want to do) UA-cam doesn't load at all. It's my only PC. I can't afford another pc haven't been for years. It's an absolute pain in the ass but it's all I have
I see this PC come often come up in my craft groups. People that don't use computers but need one for their hobby (cricut cutting machines). In saying that I swear I've seen a Ryzen 5 version in one of those bulk stores like BJ's or Costco.
If you want an AIO with a decent performance, I think the best deal is a good display with a VESA addon that you can use to add a mini PC. I bought a Minisforum mini PC with Ryzen 5 for around ~$460. Adding an extra 24" IPS display for ~$140 and you have a better machine. You can also buy a decent headphone or speaker (if that is not available in the display by default), also a better keyboard and mouse in a grand total of ~$100 and you way outperformed this HP AIO.
12:37 Careful what you wish for. HP did ship AIOs with AMD A-series processors, including a quad-core A10.
A series should've died by today's standard
Ryzen ftw
In my country there type computers are mostly used by pharmacies
There are few Ryzen 3 Mobile APU's which are 4 Cores and have a Default TDP of 15W, like 5400U/5425U/7320U/7330U.
But i guess, using them would bump-up the cost of the All-in-One.
My piggyback AIO has 72GB of RAM and a 6 core, gotta love standardisation.
Is it dual channel? My sister has the very same processor on her laptop with dual channel 8gb ram and that plays great on FPS games with 60 Fps.
I picked up an Optiplex 7470 AIO touch screen with an i5-9500 (65w) and a gtx 1050 4gb, with the pop up webcam, for $200 from a business that was upgrading. Spent $80 on 16gb ram and a 500gb NVMe ssd and it was off to the races.
There is a lesson here. The used market can have incredible value if you have the patience and the know how.
not me having that all in one next to the box
Favorite youtuber
I think its still good value for that price you get office computer and monitor and periferals.
Such a youtube idea to test these all in one PCs
If that is upgradeable to dual channel ram it would be way way better. But that being said, a quad core instead of dual core would also be much better for very little $.
Try making these computers fast it be fun to see what they could do with better hardware
I'd like to buy a pc for my parents. right now they use mine, But I'll likely be moving out soon, all they do is general browsing, youtube watching, and printing. What would be something good for them?
0:45 how tf did they get that so smooth? I edit for a couple of youtubers and Ive always wondered how people do that effect so smoothly
I wonder what would happen if you install Linux Mint XFCE on it
I could see this being used in an office setting. Especially if there's not a lot of room.
“The foam was incredibly nice”💩
I had this computer for two years. I hated it.
I use a 2022 version of this in school, it has a Intel Core i3 10100T (?). It can run Roblox Studio, Valorant, CS:GO, Fortnite smooth.
I dunno... I think if you try and stuff a quad-core into that thing, it'll melt. Like, you get up to go to the bathroom, it goes past throttling, and you come back to a bricked puddle...
the 2020 model my dad has because he always likes to get everything cheap no matter how bad it is
That’s the one I have but the newer older one
This man never ages 🤣
i bought a monitor for dirt cheap because it needed a laptop power supply to run. i had a bunch lying around.
NOOOOOO YOU CANT JUST MAKE IT DOWN GRADED NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
There should be AIO PCs that use all High powered laptop grade chips like Ryzen 9 6900HS / i9 12900H RX 6800M / RTX 3070 ti laptop gpu. A high performance AIO should be a great desk space saving alternative to a full tower pc.
Well, at least you can use it as a monitor for you office combinated with a desktop of course
I had a Acer with a 3200u and SSD.
I bought it when it first came out and it came with Windows 10 S.
In June 2019.
Thats 4 years
my office actually has a lot of these aio hp, my coworker seems unbothered somehow
Make a video about trying to upgrade it!
You guys should make it better using the same case
If this system had a R5 5500U and was priced at around 650 it would be an amazing system a grandma or aunt can buy as it would be rather capable enough for low end gaming for your relatives when they come over without being intrusive at home plus you could actually do work from home on it
Love the channel and video but Austin please make a follow up video for this!! The All-in-One is blah, but don't discount the Ryzen 3250U processor! I bought a lower end ASUS laptop on sale during Christmas with this chip in it, added 16GB of RAM (20GB total RAM in laptop now) and it bumped the performance of the chip up by nearly 30% - decent little laptop for under $300 including tax. Sure Vega 3 graphics are baseline, but there are other YT videos out there showing this 3250U and enough RAM running Cyberpunk at 13 frames/sec. (I am not kidding go search you will easily find the video). Keep up the great work!!
I bought an HP AIO xa0xxx at the beginning of the pandemic.. I only got one because i have a similar device at work .. it was advertised to have an ssd where it actually had the stupid optane system .. after 8 months or so it started to get too slow and give multiple BSOD just by opening autocad ,, unfortunately at the time I didn’t trust my self changing the memory and the optane poop system .
I had to build my own pc in 2020 and I stopped using this device… fast forward to jan 1st 2023 .. i finally had the courage to disassemble it .. I deleted the optane system and replaced it with samsung evo 980 and added teamgroup rams now it runs like a champ .
Most AIO can be improved by replacing the rams and upgrading the ssd .
I'm an older gamer who thought to would try Cinebench R23 on my G15 laptop. Ryzen 9 6900HS and a 3060 GPU. 16 gig of ram. My multi core score was 12570 and single core was 1492. Are those OK scores?
Ryzen 3 3250U is a laptop CPU and that 2GB vram it has can definitely play some games. But it's ideal to upgrade the RAM to 16GB Dual Channel if you're thinking about playing games on it.
The best I could see this thing running was roblox when my nephew and nieces played on a 2020 version of this one.
Austin: "Can you guys, just..."
HP: "NO AUSTIN ! We're cheap."
My dad uses the exact model
Intel I3 11 gen
He is not a power user he usually
Works in excel and tally accounting stuffs
Actually I think it's a great option as a grandma PC if you can get it for cheap. Put linux mint on it and it will be perfect for surfing the web, watching yt, watch movies, listen to music, type some docs and play some solitare/candy crush type games.
Moving the USB and the headphone jack to the side is also good, you don't have to reach the back of the PC to put in a pendrive or a headphone.
