The suit sizes were definitely not made for Americans! 😆
I could only fit the XXL suit and it was a hassle getting on. Took me 5-10 mins just for the bodyglove.

Great review! I use Xsens link at work and bought my own Awinda for personal use. My actor said he actually preferred Awinda as it gives more freedom without the cables but the link obviously still gives the best data. I have tried some fast movement with the awinda and the data doesn't seem very sub par to the link so it's a good option if you are on a budget and use different sized actors (link suits is very expensive at the moment)

When you say "best data," how much better are we talking? I want to use Mocap mostly for dialogue and simple action, maybe occasionally some jumping or simple dancing.

@@binyaminbass Awinda works fine for that. I recorded a high speed dance this summer and it worked great.

Hello, is the awinda starter good for fighting movements (boxing, kung fu, kicking and jumping...)? I understood that the mvn link gives the best data, moreover on the sens website it recommends the mvn link for fight scenes.
But can the awinda starter give good results for fight animations? I have never seen extensive animation tests with the awinda starter that show fast combat movements except for dance videos.

Ты спецом с таким ярко выраженным акцентом говоришь?

Миллиону ютуберов из Индии и других стран акцент не мешает записывать туториалы и тд. Почему-то на это не обращают внимание носители языка и разделяют мультикультурность, но рандомного русскоговорящего чела это волнует. Поживу в англоговорящей среде - избавлюсь от акцента, можешь не переживать.

@@SamborskyPro Ты даже не пытаешься хоть как то сгладить акцент, а наоборот только усиливаешь его. Мне показалось это смешным. Не нужно так агрессивно реагировать.
