As a young black male of caribbean descent. This video has a very important message about the real skinheads and their culture. Reggae affected certain white societies as well as black. So don't tell me white people know nothing bout reggae! Get a grip and study! 1 love yo! this vid and the other one is fun!!!!
Absolutely 😮 Was an Original Skinhead back in the day 1969/70/71 then boot boy and suedehead. Went through the whole gamut, Great days and great music 😊😊 We all got on well then and the music 🎵 bonded us together somehow.. The Skinheads are very much misunderstood and it got worse in the 1980s due to the National front infiltrating the Football grounds with their poison. Also I think the Skinhead revival in the 80s was a reaction to the punks who were never Anarchists at all....As one Skinhead said on a TV programme "This is the Real Anarchy Johnny!!!"
3:55 The man with the white letter ‘T’ on his face is a trainee skinhead. His probationary period is 18 months, then after passing a short written exam (using crayons), the ‘T’ will be ceremonially stripped from his face. He is then qualified to dance on his own, as well as make his own poor quality, out of focus videos.
Thank you for a wonderful, intelligent and insightful reply, I await more of you specious argument, irrelevant and outdated view points with baited breath!
This is by The Kingstonians and called "Sufferer". It's about starvation and civil war in The Republic of Biafra which claimed independence from Nigeria and existed between 1967 and 1970. The people became either "leavers" or "sufferers" but of course many died. It was probably the first major famine that got wide spread publicity in the UK in 1968.
