Speakers are sold on Ebay. It's a de- solder and re-solder job. Often, the problem with a SID is poor contacts on the ribbon cable for the pixel display. Speakers do seem to fail, too.
Hi Kyle , I had exactly the same issue on my 9-3 2002 . I bought a speaker on Ebay . I cut the old speaker and soldered the new speaker to the wires. It took only 10 mn ! easy to do if you have the right tool . You need a tin soldering iron . Now , it works perfectly jut with the new speaker. I can send you photos just to show you how you have to do it . Let me know . Bertrand from France

You just need to cut the old speaker ( 2 rigid wires which are soldered between the speaker and the electronic card then you have to soldered the new speaker with the same connection . that's end

Buy a PC speaker. Attach the wire underneath the existing speaker, there is space. Could solder or just wrap the wire around. Job done
Hi Kyle,maybe I have one or whole unit but i have to check my inventory :)) I keep those parts in spare for my 2002 SE Lol!
