    Turnigy Micro Quad running the kk2.0 with stock 1.2 firmware
    Thanks a ton! I went off your final settings, than just tuned it based on the info you give. I had to watch it a few times, but you are by far the best video help I have found!

      +eluminerRC Hi dude, with your help I have a k22 quad (cf258) flying pretty decent on 3s and 4s with 5-6" props but yaw did not tune like your video at all. You seemed to stop at 40 ish to get that level ish piro but mine doesn't get less sloppy until around 120. It still overshoots some and tilts a little too, drops towards the side it's turning to, all tuned in acro mode.Any ideas before I go back to my trial and error, brute force, slow and painful method of tuning for the last bit of yaw tuning?Cheers eluminer

    Hi! First of all, thanks for all of your videos - they were a huge help setting up my KK2. At 2:27 in this video, you say "trim the quad level". Do you mean to use clicks of trim on the transmitter to make it level? Thanks!

    Hello !
    I have the same control board, and my quadrocopter starts to fly to right after rotation. It also looses hight. Do you know witch setting should I change ?

    Hi there do you have any suggestions for me?.... When i am at about 60% throttle or higher, lets say i wanted to climb fast for example.. my front right motor overpowers (and you can assume, my back left motor drops). Other than that it always flies fine, so i'm not sure where to start. KK2.0 on an SK450, I've done factory reset and gone from there.

    Great videos! Not only very didactic and to the point but nice layout!
    After getting frustrated with my first quad build using kk multicopter (it might be great for not newbies but couldn't make it work properly) I just got the KK2.1 and your videos made all the tuning a smooth process.
    I don't recall tutorials on FPV but if you haven't made any, please make some if you can!

    I've reconfigured my SK450 X to a Dead Cat and I've tried every PI setting back and forth. Flies terribly. Found some guy online who talks about upping the "D" gain/limit. Do you know where can I find these on the KK2? Thanks in advance eluminer!

    I had noticed that you didn't explain the (Roll/Pitch) P Limit, I limit & (Yaw) P limit, I limit or show settings in this video. Are those setting left alone as previous video in "Initial set up" video? O.o

    • @eluminerRC
      @eluminerRC  10 років тому +1

      Exactly, they are left as in my "Initial setup" video.

  • @asdiasx
    @asdiasx 10 років тому +1

    Thanks for the video! One doubt I have is related to the SL switch position during the tuning process... is this alway on, off or changes anytime during the tuning?

    • @eluminerRC
      @eluminerRC  10 років тому

      Sorry for the late replay! Auto-level switch is turned off while you are tuning the quad in "rate" mode. When you tuning auto-level mode then the quad must be in auto-level mode.

    i need help.i just built a x525 quad with the kk2.1.5 board and all it wants to do is flip before take off.i have checked everything 3 and four times to make sure of blade direction kk2 default setup motor direction motor connection esc connection but it still flips.however the blades look warped.if they where warped would that be enough to make it flip all the time.

    • @eluminerRC
      @eluminerRC  10 років тому +1

      Well, blade shouldn't be warped. Is this your first multi-rotor? Sometimes multi-rotors can look like they will flip on take off if you are adding throttle very gently. However, they usually fly well after take off. Of course, you should definitely go through my initial setup video and tuning guide again step by step.

    Great video! It improved a lot my Quad, but I still have a problem, the quad leans to the right or left by itself, it happends slowly but I have to constantly control it, is this normal?

  • @HEITORFPV
    @HEITORFPV 9 років тому

    For roll/pitch I gain you said that I should trim the quad level... How do i do that? Do I just need to start hovering and trim it using my tx? (I have a 9x turnigy, so if its going forward while im trying to hover I should use my 9x trim menu and trim the elevator down, is that it?)
    Thank you and nice video

  • @kingoftheput
    @kingoftheput 11 років тому

    I have a question for you. My quad is very stabile,and I am satisfied whit how it flies. But in selflevel mode,after I center the right stick,quad gains a LOT of hight. What can be the problem. I still didn't upgrade my firmwere,because Hobbyking make fool of my and my order of USB ASP cable. They left me waiting for it for 90 days,and than give me back my money. So I still use 1.2 firmware

    • @eluminerRC
      @eluminerRC  11 років тому +2

      Self-level in v1.2 is TERRIBLE! Actually, the biggest difference between 1.2 and 1.5 is completely new algorithm for self-level feature. So, if you're having problems with self-level mode definitely upgrade to 1.6. It a huge difference.

    Hi Great video. I recently built an H-Quad (from Scratch.. KK2.0 1.6) and I tried flying it today. Problem is that as I slowly push up the throttle, the throttle increases all by it self (i.e. If I increase the throttle to 20% on my Transmitter, The throttle on the quad will increase all by itself) So that means that if I bring the throttle up and leave it, it will not stay at level flight. I do not know how to figure this out now. Also I am using the self level. I am a bit worried that I am doing something wrong.. Please help..
    I am using the Turnigy 6CH FHHS
    30A turnigy plush ESC
    Ntm 1200 KV motor
    Nano Tech 3000 mAh 3s battery.
    10"X4.5" props..
    Please Help me.

    • @eluminerRC
      @eluminerRC  10 років тому

      First thing you should do is check "Receiver test" on your KK2.0 board. Check my "KK2.0 initial setup" video for more info. What do you see under "Throttle" when you move your throttle stick from idle to full throttle?

    • @joshuacarvalho5405
      @joshuacarvalho5405 10 років тому

      On my kk2.0 I see that it goes from Idle to 270 or something like that.

    • @eluminerRC
      @eluminerRC  10 років тому

      Joshua Carvalho Yeah, 270 is to much. You should have something around 125. Try to play with stick scaling in KK2.0 settings.

    • @joshuacarvalho5405
      @joshuacarvalho5405 10 років тому

      OK will do. I re checked it and got around 123. But still it increases throttle. Anything I should so on the Board

      Joshua Carvalho Try calibrating ESC's if you haven't already figured it out
