There are few things you can count on, but being at a D.B. Show is, was, and will forever be worth whatever you have to do to see him, and whatever gaggle of Riders he saddles up with.
If you see these words, then you’re listening to this show. It speaks for itself…Thank You David.
4x here. Such a treat
Shoulda been at the Stanley Theater in Utica NY when a hootchie kootchie dancer from the strip club next door invaded the show and did the IDEAL "Sharon" dance on stage along with the tune. Hee hee. Life is good. David opened for The Kinks.David was super and the Kinks blew the place apart. a STRONG band in concert.
I ALWAYS wanted to be part of David's Band!!! I saw Bad Dave in the 70s at the Shaboo Inn. Near UCONN. 3 years later i bought my first guitar and taught myself how to play. Then he retired.... I still play, had a bunch of bands, and ill blame it all on Bromberg.... its close to 50 years on...
With the Great Larry Campbell in the house...,
I can see David and his band every night and never grow tired of it. Such a magical experience and fortunate to know him!
So good I am without words.Thank you David and band
Love love love this concert!!!! Thank you David and band.
Love David Bromberg! Every video I see of him he always is having a good time playing and enjoying all of his musicians. Always a good time watching him. I've been a fan since about 1979 or so. Glad he's back playing for the public! Very original with his own take on old tune. Love it!
as usual he is surrounded by talent galore! he hasn't lost anything i can tell!
Larry is a wonderful addition to this already great band

Sadly no ramble this year, so reliving this is awesome!
Yo Yo Yo... Nice to see all the guys getting down with Dave. We are off to see David B tonight, again in NY. Gonna be a great show, as usual. Just love your style of kickin the blues brother. Maybe see you in Port au Prince (Oluffson Hotel) sometime.
Beyond lovely!
Twist one up and dig on the band

Bravo!
Did you all catch him telling the mandolin player "Play like Bill Monroe" in "I'm going but I ain't comin' back"? (24 minutes in)

At 29:53 we get a little nostalgic..!.. _sigh_ ...:)O(:...
At about 44:44 I gotta get another drink and compose myself..!..hehehe...:)O(:..
And, of course, at 51:02 ...mmmm...takin' 'it' home with a little 'funky' blues!!!...hahaha...:)O(:..
did you mention Lou Marini on sax?
i remember negril, with ricks cafe and the weed beads and mrs browns out on the roadside. i bet that dude with the red dreads is still at ricks.
I can't believe that David Bromberg didn't mention the chord 'a minor' in that second song..?..
Is the soundboard available for download somewhere?
