JORMA KAUKONEN is one of the most important guitarists of our time with a body of work lasting over four decades. He's the founding member of two legendary bands, The JEFFERSON AIRPLANE and HOT TUNA. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996. He will be performing material from his new CD on Red House Records.
DAVID BROMBERG is known as the musicians' musician. Originally a “must-have” session man for everyone from Bob Dylan to the Eagles and subsequently a hard-touring bandleader and recording artist with an enthusiastic following, Bromberg gradually phased himself out of the continual record-tour-record cycle back in 1980. David returns to the scene with his first studio CD in 17 years on Appleseed Records.
This is a dream for me. Thank you for posting.
Great hearing Bromberg again. Blessed by his stuff in 70s in Nawlins area. He always had 'Someone Else's Blues' for sure.
Old Bromberg's great.
That song's a beauty.
You know that Jorma and Bromberg played into the wee hours THAT night.
Incandescent...just brilliant 👏 ...thank you!
Wow. Great line up
The best of the best
I got to jam with Barry Miterhof back in 2010 . It was at the Reunion in Washington Square Park. A real highlight to be there that day!
Great stuff. How about a DVD version?

Dave B. kicked me out of back stage when he and (can't remember his name guy from the loving spoon full) I was eating a free sandwich and drinking bear. I kept eating and drink yesing him with head up and down. There was no reson for him to kick me and my friend Larry out of back Stage, There was more then enough Drinks and food for everyone by triple. It didn't matter he wasn't going to kick me off the boat.
Meet both at various times and DB is full of himself ! Tried to kick me out one time. Didn't work. Jorma and his wife are great people.Played Good Shepherd to me sitting next to me. Cool !
curious to hear more of this story Ray - what as the particular show? how did you get backstage (via one of the another artists or promoter? via a promo? via a VIP pass? just blind luck?) did you have any interaction with him prior to him giving you the boot? too many unanswered questions lol
I’ve met David Bromberg a few times. We was always a really nice man to me. I’ve seen David many, many times too.
I’ve easily seen JORMA / Hot Tuna / and once the Jefferson Airplane too.
Each in their own way have strongly influenced my life in a positive way.
May Peace ✌️ be with all who read this message.
john sebastian?
Yeah, but if others freeloaded like you there wouldn't be all that extra food and drink!!!
Lost me with too much video introduction.
Wouldn't it be great if this show was about the music and not Micheal?
Dude shut up and let them play!
