I have to admit I was not sure about the new album after Queendom, but I absolutely love this song. This seems like the vulnerable and genuine heart that made me fall in love with her first album. I am so proud of her; she sang in Norwegian! She said she might never do this publicly because it made her feel too vulnerable. Conquering this fear shows amazing growth for her as an artist and a person. The Norwegian part is also some of the most challenging vocal intonation I've ever heard from her, and she nailed it.

Heartbreak is terrible and it's really difficult to believe that things will be okay when you can't help, but feel so immersed in the pain or even so numbed by it, day in and day out, not knowing when you'll feel entirely okay again. Heartbreak is terrible and it's really difficult to believe that things will be okay when you can't help, but feel so immersed in the pain or even so numbed by it, day in and day out, not knowing when you'll feel entirely okay again.

Look. I have no musical talent. Can't sing. Can't play an instrument. Can't read sheet music. Nothing. Nada. What amazes me most about Aurora is that she's Norwegian. English is a second/third/fourth language for her. Yet, she creates masterpieces, the most amazing music and lyrics in a language not her own. Thank goodness for her music, her talent, and her presence in this very drab world. She keeps me going with a smile on my face even when things are at their darkest..
Scandinavian countries have a very high level in English it’s taught very early in school. A few years in Danemark and I was fully bilingual and not in danish
Fun fact: Aurora herself claimed several years ago, that she was unable to read sheet music. And as far as I know, that doesn't change. And she is not the only example of gifted musicians, who are unable to handle sheet music.
I wish I had listened to her music two or three years ago because I was bullied at school and just wanted to end my life. I got through that time on my own, but it would have been a lot easier if I could have listened to her music. Love you forever Aurora, you changed my life in all the positive ways🐸🌸🌸
