Also, in regards to her live performances I think thats what makes her "unique" ( many other things make her unique of course) but what I mean is: few artists are litteraly better live than in the record, not vocally but in the sense of creating an atmosphere a momentum, she does that. She's a true siren, one who needs only her mere existence and the delicate vibration of her aura to draw those of a similar spirit into her midst. She's the personification of the Moth as it is contemplated in Celtic legend. This is why she gathers the curious. Her music is mere suggestion. Her motions, her appearance, her voice and her lyrics, even the sounds within her music that cause my head to ache, are all subtleties intended to produce feelings of other-worldliness, secret knowledge and shadow. When I was in my fledging days of first discovering Aurora about 5 years ago, this video solidified my passion to see and meet her myself. Which ended up happening several times. Moral of the story is don't lose hope and never give up, you can make your dreams come true.
This version brings me to tears in its emotion and simplicity. And there's not enough credit given to whoever set up and mixed sound on this - it's incredibly clean, beautiful and tonally balanced.

I was listening to music about a week ago and this video popped up. I had never heard of her before. I listened to it and I have been listening to her music and interviews everyday for the pass 5 or 6 days. Omg she is wonderful. A breath of fresh air. When I was in my fledging days of first discovering Aurora about 5 years ago, this video solidified my passion to see and meet her myself. Which ended up happening several times. Moral of the story is don't lose hope and never give up, you can make your dreams come true.
This version brings me to tears in its emotion and simplicity. And there's not enough credit given to whoever set up and mixed sound on this - it's incredibly clean, beautiful and tonally balanced.

I was listening to music about a week ago and this video popped up. I had never heard of her before. I listened to it and I have been listening to her music and interviews everyday for the pass 5 or 6 days. Omg she is wonderful. A breath of fresh air. I was just talking to a friend about music and was saying I wish I could find a young artist that I like as much as all my older stuff. Her live stuff is my favorite. I feel in love with her the first time I watched her sing. She doesn't just sing she feels her music her words with every fiber in her being.
