I'm obsessed with her expressions, you can feel the music literally run through her veins.
Yeah, she has a really weird energy to her facial and bodily expressions that is kind of mesmerizing.
The sentance just before she sings. "You deserve to be loved as much as you love someone else" had a huge inpact on my life. I wrote that up on every notebook's cover I had to remind myself I am good enough. This pulled me out of depression and I am forever grateful for this.
Science and art is the real salvation. Progress on science and art, then you may come across with someone in similar pathway. We exaggerate emotions too much, way too much. There is no perfect love, perferct people, even we are not perfect. But because of some romantic tv shows, books we exaggerate emotions to others too much. It is so wrong.

I just found Aurora today, I'd somehow missed her before now. She is an absolutely magical being. It's been a long time since I found an artist that I love each and every song they sing. This young woman makes me think of the Sirens in ancient stories that lured sailors with their magical voices, making them forget everything and lose track of time. Wow.

This makes me think of a guy I used to date and I felt in love with. He kept giving me hopes but in reality there were never many. After 4 years of trying, meeting his family and all his friends; Me visiting him in Sweden as he studied abroad and stay with him there travelling together (I was not able to wait for the plane to land to be with him), of texting almost everyday during that time... he broke my heart saying we were never going to be a thing. After 4 years of meeting each other and me trying hard to be something, to worry and care and love him... he discarded me as if I was no one, as if I was trash. After everything.... Such a disappointment. This song is exactly this feeling to me and the fact she is from Scandinavia makes it even deeper for me.

What she did to this music is just magical. The lyrics tells us that she went too far for begging for somebody's arms hold her and for "kissing the ground beneath somebody's feet", but the melody tells us that this, this act of loving someone to the point of going too far is just magical, you know? It's just... It's like, in the surface, in the obvius and logical part of her, she's telling herself that she went too far, and that it shouldn't have happened, because it's not nice, and it's fool and stuff, but deeply, somewhere inside her mind and inside her heart, she knows that she's not wrong, she's just allowing her to feel what she actually feels, and it's nothing but beautiful, and magical, and surrounding. God only knows how many times I cried listening to this, but the fact that I came back to it after three years of hopeless love and just listening to it with a big smile and the thought of another guy in my head, is just crazy.
I thought I'd never get over my first love, but at some point it was time to let go no matter how hard it was, I remember I cried that whole night he blocked me again. I was strong enough to let go of him and decided to choose to try and love the one I knew he loved me.
For those who who are just like me, those who are still crying on Aurora's I went too far, those who couldn't just "forget" their loved ones no matter how many times they broke their hearts, even if you don't believe it, there will come a day u forget. As an artist (vocalist&guitarist), while watching this I couldn't stop questioning myself about the source of this unreal vibe to her perfomance. Maybe I am wrong, but she performed this song with her soul, she meant every word she said, she is in the zone of some kind. I'm not unfamiliar with this feeling, but the thing that bothers me - is the part of the spectrum of emotions that she emits. I have never seen something like this... What did she go through in the past to become this person on stage? It's at times like this, like watching this video, I understand, that sometimes I would be glad to not understand music. I had similar feeling when my pianist came a bit early for a soundcheck before a concert, and me and my bassist were warming up. She slowly came up onto the stage, briefly said hi to us, sat down, turned this Korg Grandstage up, and started playing some improvisation... I swear, I never heard THAT much pain and sadness in any live perfomance ever in my life. I immediately stopped playing, looked at the bassist as he stopped too, and saw the exact same thought on his face, that I had: "HO. LY. SHIT.", because we both new, that she was going through the most painful breakup in her life. It was at a concert hall for 1,200 people, and besides us, there was only 1 person - our sound engineer. He ran to the controllers, killed all the lights, put a beam on her, added some reverb and increased output, and we just sat there and listened to this waterfall of tears, I don't know how to describe it better, for 10 minutes. Also when I realized how to do distorted vocals for the first time, performing "The loneliest" by Maneskin. Or when my drummer broke 2 sets of sticks in 2 hours because he got the news that the guy that stabbed him with the knife was allowed to rejoin our university. This song, her vocals, and her stage presence are all phenomenal. Her recorded songs sound good, but she always sounds better live to me. I'm not sure if this is because of who is recording her, or she might really excel at live performances and feeding off of the crowd's energy. If she hasn't yet, she needs to release a live album!
