I know my team. Since you provided very little actual knowledge of the roster, let me assist you. This team has pulled in MASSIVE additions in the portal and is MUCH MUCH MUCH more talented on offense than last year. Jordan Waters was an ALL: ACC selection last yr and will be a potential first teamer this year, with other extremely talented guys behind him, best RB room we have have in years. WR room is loaded with 4* and 5* talent from Noah Rogers to Wesley Grimes to Dacari Collins to Terrell Anderson to Jonathan Paylor, not even to mention ACC freshman of the yr Concepcion. Plus the Flex Y tight end position is majorly upgraded with transfer Justin Joly, who may lead the team in TDs, and uber talented sophomore Juice Vereen after a year of development will be scary. On defense. the DLine is as good as last year with a more developed Davin Vann, Brandon Cleveland, and Travali Price. Vann and Cleveland have All ACC potential, and Price is generating big buzz in practice... and Red Hibbler is an elite pass rusher in pass situations. The secondary is every bit as good as last year, probably better. Ayden White at CB is back, a potential All ACC first teamer and NFL first rounder, Brandon Cisse is looking almost as good on the other side, with very good depth as well, generating big buzz in practice as well. And the influx of high level safeties in the portal in addition to very good returnees like Bishop Fitzgerald and Devan Boykin... this room is top 3 in the ACC as far as starter level and in terms of depth. The LB room is the only room on defense that may slide a little with the loss of Wilson and Scott, but with the excellent young Sean Brown sliding down to LB from safety, and another year of development for talented Caden Fordham and veteran bruiser Devon Betty, plus uber talented underclassmen who have already generated a lot of buzz in practice, expect this room to have nice upside. Oh and I didnt even mention QB. McCall, who has over 10,000 yards passing in his career. He is accurate as hell, and can read defenses and go thru full field progressions with ease. All he needs to do is put the ball in the hands of his MANY elite playmakers and let them work. This team has way more talent on offense, and about the same on D, as last year. PLUS a considerably easier schedule. They won 9 games last year. So your prediction is 9 THIS YEAR?! Hilarious.

I am going with 10-2. I think by the end of the schedule, the Wolfpack will have so much riding on the line that they won't mess up and lose at Georgia Tech.
Some drop off at defense, though I think not as much as everyone seems to think and a HUGE leap forward in offense with adding a ton of weapons. How do you have them with the same record as last years team that couldn’t score on offense if you opened the lane for them.
Best case scenario we go 11-1 with our only loss coming against Tennessee, which would put us in the ACC Championship game most likely against Florida State. Realistically, we'll probably go 9-3 again like last year and lose on the road against both the Taters (Clemson) and the Nerds (Georgia Tech).

@@Spiderman_x10 Apparently you have no clue about what a PREDICTION is. I said REALISTICALLY we are probably going 9-3 again, which seems reasonable considering our schedule. Our ceiling is 11-1 with our only loss being against Tennessee, which also sounds pretty reasonable since it’s an SEC opponent, whom we tend to struggle against.

As a tar heel fan and as someone who has lived in NC my entire life, it pains me to say this BUT as far as football is concerned, nc state has the best chance to win the acc and make the playoffs more than the rest of the colleges in this state It would be awesome for a team from NC to make it…..but after years and years of mid level teams, I’ll believe it when I see it

They are lucky they only got Clemson and missed Florida State and Miami as far as the top of the conference goes. Tennessee is a strong opponent, but I think having the game closer to Raleigh than Knoxville will be a huge benefit to the Wolfpack and they pull off a close upset win. I think they go 10-2 (6-2) losses to Clemson and North Carolina.

@@bobfunck6749idk how you got 45 minutes but the university of Tennessee is almost 4 hours away from UNC Charlotte whereas NC state to UNC Charlotte is around 2 1/2 hours. Which means NC state is an hour and a half closer than University of Tennessee is to UNC Charlotte.😐

They have the 1 big tough non-conference schedule against Tennessee, which is what most teams schedule. They have nothing to do with the conference schedule. That is set by the ACC.
