And we have some quality guys: Josh Bates, Sexton, and Jake Taylor are all legit, Nweiwu and Tarquin are apparently doing really well among our transfers. Hatchet will be healthy for the season and was a starter on last years Joe Moore winning line at Washington. We got that all American center out of SMU too. That’s a solid 8 rotational guys. Everette will be good to go again by middle of the season, and Eugene brooks will probably be a starter for us by game 8, he’s simply too good to keep off the field - should have been a 5 star no joke, he manhandled every 5 star and 4 star he went against at the under armour camp, literally finishing blocks with a hand free to punch secondary rushers. Besides them we have 3 quality depth guys in Heaths Ozeita, Spencer Brown, and Logan Howland. Eddie Pierre Louis and Daniel Akinkunmi could also be good to go by mid season BB could turn that into a very solid 2-deep OL.

SEC couldn’t have done more to give UT an easier conference schedule as compared to OU.
OU has definitely been a better program than us over the last 15 years. I'd even argue they were the better program since the Big 12 formed. Whether or not we can overtake them in the SEC is yet to be seen. I know as a Longhorn I'll never sleep on them that's for sure.
Several teams in the top 6 have weak schedules. Saban made his bones on understanding the strategy of scheduling.

Wow...what a difference a month makes. Do you all STILL think OU is a better program this year (and last year) than Texas? Texas spanked Michigan at The Big House (and peed on their rug), and OU barely, and I mean barely, beat Houston. Plus, the Tulane game wasn't as big of a win as the score shows. Texas' backup (Arch Manning) is light years ahead of Jackson Arnold. We had a lapse during the Red River last year (I was at the game), but everyone forgets about the Red River two years ago--49-0! Just keep thinking Texas is all hype.
