The fine liners are right up my alley. I have some by the same brand, but that stand up case would bring me much joy. I hope to find them on discount too! My only tip is think about how many hours you would need to work to pay for something. Even when I don’t have a job, I just use the same metric from when I was working. How many hours of my life would I need to sell to get this thing? I think you do a great job of being honest with yourself about your spending. It inspires me to be much more thoughtful about my spending. Shopping is a comfort/stress response for me sometimes. So I have started to think about dealing with that by trying to reduced stress other ways (exercise 🫤, journaling…), but I don’t know if that’s the same for you. Last year was very stressful for me and shopping is a good way to distract yourself from other problems - at least for a while. The problem just is that it can then cause more problems and more stress in that way... so it would be wise to have other stress relieving habits. Walking in nature is a good one for me 👍🏼 Luckily I don't use credit for shopping so I have the limit of how much money I have. Don't even want to imagine the stress of a credit card dept... I have made a plan for my 2025 spending and I will go it through in a future video. I'm hoping to be able to stick to that plan. And if I want to spend more then I would need to sell something... Now I'm still waiting for my last purchase of 2024 so I try to restrict myself at least until it has arrived 😅 Thank you for your encouraging comment ❤️
The first half of 2024 I was doing great! I had one planner and I was very happy with it. But since Autumn I've bought so many stationery things... It's a little embarassing. So I'm also hoping to fix it 😅 I'm planning to do a low-buy challenge in 2025, because I actually have everything for my planner needs. I don't need to buy more stuff. I wish it was easier to ignore all those beautiful and pretty pens, notebooks, covers, etc 😂😂
Oh yes - no needs, just so many wants... 😅 Low buy is relative, but I hope to stick to my budget this year. I have planned what I want to buy and when and how much I need to save for it. I will go my spending plan through in a future video. I wish you success with your low-buy challenge 👍🏼
I think it’s great that you track everything - which keeps you more aware of spending habits. My only tips would be that I try not to impulse buy - because that often is a bad idea in the end. And for your budget - if you have a big future goal, it might help with not spending the budget in your account as it builds up. If you already have items in mind (like I know I want certain amount for Sept and end of year shopping) and your vds is lovely - I think the TM leathers are very durable and less finicky than other leather like veg tan, that I have!
Yes, I have made a spending plan for 2025 - what I want to buy, when and how much money I need to save for it. That worked in 2023 so why wouldn't it also work now. I just had too much money this year in my fun account and it all got a bit out of hand... 😬 One thing that I have been thinking about is to have a separate account for stationery saving and then to have a smaller amount for impulse purchases. Total restriction or a no buy doesn't work for me because then I can't think about anything else than shopping 😅 Aiming for a decent stationery spending year in 2025 🤞🏻
The copyright date isn’t necessarily the manufacturing date so your glue might be ok. They’ve probably reproduced those notes over the years in various sizes and combinations.
Yeah, that might be - or I could also believe that those are just so old... But they probably will be okay in between my planner. And they don't seem to leave any sticky residue when removed so that's good 👍🏼
