No surprisee here. Typical,Africa, no discipline and rotten with corruption, all over. Then cry when disciplined countries tell them that truth. 😅

Why would president judge or senior judge want to influence another judge in making judgements? We thought judiciary is the most trusted arm of state because it's decision making or (any judgements made/ are influenced by or derive from the scripts/ law/ constitution not external persons such politicians or people in business). Crafters of our constitution envisaged the judiciary as a trusted system because of its transparent open system as oppose to parliamentary majority power in decision making (as final abitor). It worries us if a judge is influenced by politics when making judgements instead of looking at the law, the question is what is there to benefit in making such (infuenced decision )or judgements? We have seen how parliamentary and executive (government) arm of state processes get abused by ruling party because of its majority and, now judiciary may have some skeletons in the closet, if what the guest is saying is truth, which I believe there could be some bad thinking (by some judicial officers) going on in that system. Does this mean our judges masquerade as holier, honest or truthful to the constitution? I don't know because the allegations about judges conducts sometimes do not come out in the public, I think, it depends on who is power politically ( ruling class/ presidency/ business elites). If this is the case, this is bad for our constitution or country. And wonder why is South Africa was and is still stuck in so many facets (e.g socio-economic transformation etc.). This could be greed. Can principle of fairness or law disregarded for convenient political/economic/business reasons? If this is happening why should we trust judicial system with our constitution? Why should we pay judges for the rest of their lives? I don't believe the system is rotten but there are gaps. most people in the system try to do good than bad. As they say, there is no perfect system or perfect democracy. However if there is rotten potato in a bag remove it, because it can spoil the whole bag. In other words deal with shortcomings or gaps for the system at least to be seen perfect or holier.

You complain but you glorify people who are the reason of what you complain about. Zondo is an example
