Ross, you might consider doing a video on all the varieties that you think would do better grafted.

Great looking dish of figs Ross, this seemed to be a good year for figs.

i noticed col de dam blanc and some other figs take a lot of fertilizer to get them to move.

Hello, do you know if the green kadota and the col de dame blank are the same species?

How many fig trees in decent sun, watering and stuff do you think it'd take to regularly feed a family of four starting in the fig season if I'm into account different fig trees ripening at different times? I have 6 in ground at the moment being Hardy Chicago, Col De Dame Noir, Strawberry Verte, Stella, Figo Preto, Col De Dame Rimada (mutated CDDB) atm and maybe 4-5 good size ones in 7 gallon pots being LSU Scott's Black, Godfather, Maltese Beauty and Texas Emerald.
    I'm in Houston btw.

Feed? You better stick with vegetables. Figs are an occasional snack.

I think you could start with a few varieties that are known to do well in your area/zone. Some varieties are known to be early-season, some are later season.

@@davejoseph5615 Yessir that's what I've been going for so far. Just wondering how much I can expect I guess with what I've got so far.

@Ofon The productivity of a fig tree will vary with variety, age, health, and weather. Health can be influenced by many factors.

Hey Ross just wanted to say love the videos and keep it up in learning alot from you and this year have started getting into figs and was wondering about the size of my fruit this year compared to some of the giants you get is that due to my young trees or is it a species thing with different figs that grow larger than others thanks again and keep it up
