Yes, it can be tricky but the easiest way ive found is as follows. Whilst its all laid flat, pull out each corner using the four pins corner pins and then fold in half and then and half again. Then lay the poles (inside the pole bag) across the folded awning and use this as ruler to judge the width as this will fit inside the bag. Roll the awning with the poles inside and as you go and just keep tucking any bits in so that its just the width of the poles. Keep scrunching it down as you role it and use the ties that it came with it to tie it before putting it back in the bag. That way it should go back in :)
