Love how you took Taku’s videos on this trip & expanded them so beyond. Having fished & caught dungeness in BC, every day is different.

    mighty crustaceans
    succulent Dungeness flesh
    green spice
One way to deal to crustaceans of all kinds is a 45 minute spell on a tray in the freezer - they chill into oblivion very quickly ( their gills freeze ) and its not a hot ending for squeamish viewers. Curry laksa is probably my all time best dish.

Aloha. I lived in Sonoma for a couple of years. Bodega was my getaway. Fished on the New Sea Angler, rockfish and dungeness. Always lunch at Spud Point, bowl of clam chowder and a crab sandwich.

Ya know I was born and raised in Louisiana off blue crab and have cooked everything with blue crab, like a Forest Gump scene…pan fried, deep fried, stir fried, crab tators, crab gumbo….Call me a traitor but when we lived in WA state for 6 years workamping, I quickly developed an absolute love with dungeness crab, don’t tell anyone but it might be my favorite 😂😂😂. People in the South would hang me.

I'm a newbie, well actually a never has been yet, but I'm in Petaluma and want to crab in 2025, so this video is exciting to watch. I also have bad arthritis and see that in Bodega Bay you can drive right up to the spot, set up a chair and just crab.

I'm so sad what has happened to Kelly. Hoping that turns around for her. Such a ridiculous mess that she has zero control over. Either way, keep eating those special shrooms buddy.
