@@RustyWells2 Had to check and Tom's best pass is still slightly better than Eagle's current best, but Eagle has shown to be far more consistent and will be way faster soon. Eagle at it's max will be 5.4s maybe 5.3s.
30:55 gotta do something about those arm tethers. That right side gets sucked into the drive shaft cage and you'll be one-handed clapping the rest of your life.
Agreed, I think the tunnel should be completely closed. Put a removable panel or flexible cover between the fixed tunnel and the transmission. I also spotted a USB cable dangling around, not that dangerous maybe but it will ruin the day if it rips out of the gauge. I’m actually surprised a partly open tunnel is legal.
Cleet I’m glad Zach is the Crew Chief on Eagle. He has worked so hard to prove himself with little jobs at first then he started wiring everything now he’s in charge on a state of the art race car. It’s really great that you make everyone better around you. Your parents are so proud of you and Parker.
Reading your comments makes me realize you are introducing a lot of people to a caliber of car that they haven't seen before. I personally love high level door car drag racing been watching it since I was a kid
Would be a pretty poor financial decision, just to run the car for a weekend is super expensive (I think it's around the 5-6 grand mark to get to round 1 with no issues)
I've been following you guys for many years, my favourite YT channel by far. I rarely comment but this EAGLE is the most excited I've ever been. Love the test videos!
Look, from being an ignorant Brit and not knowing what goes where, why it goes there and what it does while it is there? I've always been far more interested in Rallying. But watching you guys over the years, from the first shop and Georges Red truck, I admit I now have some knowledge...the main learning point being it's not just foot, engine and fuel...thanks for the learning and the smiles...big up to Zack for his input on the "Eagle".
Maybe try to make it to the Pod (Santa pod raceway) over the summer when they are running pro mod and/or sportsman classes. The pits are open and, as long as they aren't thrashing, crews are only too happy to chat and give you a look. If they happen to be running fuel classes then that's a bonus too!
2 things: 1. The videography of this channel is next level!! Should win some kind of awards!! 2. The people cleetus calls for advice are legit super experts!! One phone call and he went into the 3’s just like that!! 🎉
I started watching this video and the views were 478,500. Came back to the video not 30 min later and the views are at 590,. Needless to say the people want to see Eagle testing. Thank you.
Lifts my heart to see Cleet lifting his people up for what they do. That is very hard to find in this field, full of egos, and hardly zero room for shout outs or props. Hey Listen, Shout out to you a person, That's a great Manly thing you did right there.
A 1.07 60ft on itty bitty 275 tires for first pass is really cookin'! I've been 1.20s 60ft in somebody else's car and that was years ago early 2000s and it feels like a gunshot to the chest! All hail to the great American drag racer and their cars!
I think the next business should be "cleeters same day turbos" spring it on the boys and make them do some ghetto upside down manifold turbo conversions.
Watching from Australia. I'm not a car guy normally, but I watch all of your stuff because of the enthusiasm you and the team throw out there! Keep up the amazing content
Less than 15 passes on the car from brand new you made massive progress because you needed to find any issues and you found there was a drive shaft data and you're not going far in this type of car without that data.. this is why you test these cars and Steve knows that combo better than anyone so he needs to have everything working right so it reacts like all the other cars he tunes because every one of those are competitive and you will be as well once it's dialed
big shout out to the cameraman grabbing the back to back shots of the Mopar behind you at one side and the bowtie off on the other. Epic culmination happening there. Hell Yeah Brother. Murica!!

I agree, it’s so cool to see the work that goes into it
4:02 "this thing'll hemi right off the stand" got me😂
@32:48... of course we like it. The team figuring stuff out on the track... hell yea brother!
That car is a finely crafted tool. A weapon actually! Fun to see it do what it was made for. Looking forward to it being completely dialed in for all tire sizes. As Always, May God Bless you and yours! 😇
Glad you informed us on HPTS, was wondering if you gave up on it. Hell ya brother, can’t wait to see you get it done.
"We're two numbers slower than the 2.70 we went yesterday" 😂 god I love how Jackstand talks. Legend. Also the floating hands and head at 21:45 is wild, that's good CGI
We need a race between Eagle and Tom Bailey's Camaro. That's the car that started Cleets channel so it would be a good homage
Eagle would smoke him, but would still be cool
@@philb5593He would smoke the orange Camaro but Tom's white Camaro would smoke Cleetus at least until Cleetus gets it running at it's max!
@@RustyWells2 Had to check and Tom's best pass is still slightly better than Eagle's current best, but Eagle has shown to be far more consistent and will be way faster soon.
Eagle at it's max will be 5.4s maybe 5.3s.
@philb5593 Baileys car is far more likely to drive to the next track. Apples and oranges, I'm not knocking either, just two very different cars.
30:55 gotta do something about those arm tethers. That right side gets sucked into the drive shaft cage and you'll be one-handed clapping the rest of your life.
Commenting in the hope that it increases visibility on this.
I was going to comment exactly this. Please cover that hole with some mesh or something.
That opening looks worse than it is, people. This issue has been questioned and answered.
I thought someone commented the same thing a few videos back. He needs to get that taken care of
Cleet I’m glad Zach is the Crew Chief on Eagle. He has worked so hard to prove himself with little jobs at first then he started wiring everything now he’s in charge on a state of the art race car. It’s really great that you make everyone better around you. Your parents are so proud of you and Parker.
2:40 cool to see Zach get some credit. He’s the butt of some good jokes… but he’s always getting stuff done.
And at the same time, the car looks immaculate
Didn’t even think there was a windshield 😅
15:16 man you gotta react faaaaast
That moment blew my mind haha. Shows you really just how fast things can go to shit in a pro mod.
That was scary as hell!
That looked so violent when the tires kicked out
Beat me to it, I think I ate my own shirts watching this😂
For real. lol 50 degree crank on the wheel lol
Reading your comments makes me realize you are introducing a lot of people to a caliber of car that they haven't seen before. I personally love high level door car drag racing been watching it since I was a kid
I've been on the edge of my seat waiting for some Eagle content. Hell Yeah Brother!
I've been edging for it too... wait...
Lol 😂😂👌
@@outcast_performanceGarrett’s superfans are some STRANGE twinks.
32:42 still go. It's on your doorstep
Would be a pretty poor financial decision, just to run the car for a weekend is super expensive (I think it's around the 5-6 grand mark to get to round 1 with no issues)
@@j_wide942 money ain’t a issue brother. Money comes and goes memories last forever!! Send her Boys!!
Everything about Eagle is staggering, the HP numbers, top speed, the G's it pulls, the list goes on ! What an intense bit of gear it is!
I love the testing vids. The way you edit allows us to learn alongside you.
Its going to be a stellar year for the boys and the fans, I can feel it!! Thx and cheers from the West Coast Canada! Lets goooooooo!!!!!!!
You will be part of America soon. 7:46
As a Norwegian i concur 👍🏻
Cheers from the US! Ironically as an American Rallying and WRC is probably my main favorite motorsport
Indeed. It's also traction control.
@procatprocat9647 yup, there goes my ignorance again. Oh, OH, aaannd the reaction time on the "tree". See, I learned that too...
2 things: 1. The videography of this channel is next level!! Should win some kind of awards!!
2. The people cleetus calls for advice are legit super experts!! One phone call and he went into the 3’s just like that!! 🎉
Man at 17:20 George really got that money shot. That think was singing!! 🔥
Holy smokes. I made it within 10 minutes to a new Cleet video? Hell yeah, brother. Go Eagle. I can't wait to see the house complete too, brother. 👍🏾🤙🏾
Can’t wait til month of freedom 2025!!!!!
That’s not true.
Lunchtime Cleeter video? Hell yeah, brother!
Same here lol
A 1.07 60ft on itty bitty 275 tires for first pass is really cookin'!
I've been 1.20s 60ft in somebody else's car and that was years ago early 2000s and it feels like a gunshot to the chest!
All hail to the great American drag racer and their cars!
Thumbs up for United Tarps. Definitely a nice addition!
Love seeing the new car break records, but don't forget the home spun builds we love so much even if they don't get into the 5's
How about that house build with a hanger? 😂
Just a little out if my price range, too
I think the next business should be "cleeters same day turbos" spring it on the boys and make them do some ghetto upside down manifold turbo conversions.
Watching from Australia. I'm not a car guy normally, but I watch all of your stuff because of the enthusiasm you and the team throw out there!
Keep up the amazing content
HOW MANY LIKES TO SEE CLEET AND CREW ON STEET OUTLAWS?
happy to see zach got the crew chief position! he absolutely deserves it
Less than 15 passes on the car from brand new you made massive progress because you needed to find any issues and you found there was a drive shaft data and you're not going far in this type of car without that data.. this is why you test these cars and Steve knows that combo better than anyone so he needs to have everything working right so it reacts like all the other cars he tunes because every one of those are competitive and you will be as well once it's dialed
Ohhh… Mamacita!
-LS George
😂😂😂😂
I was just saying I need some new cleet vids to watch 😂 🙏
big shout out to the cameraman grabbing the back to back shots of the Mopar behind you at one side and the bowtie off on the other. Epic culmination happening there. Hell Yeah Brother. Murica!!
Oh boy what a good time to drop this 😂 just started lunch
What time currently is it there in China?
@15:05 my drawers just watching OH MAN
Eagle is violence on 4 wheels. I've been riding motorcycles for 48 years, but this car scares the crap out of me.
That thing is Cookin!
22:50 Tye with the superfast camera pan gonna throw his back out!
Shakes the whole track goin past him.
Hell yeah brother, keep testing it.
Hey Cleetus! I’m not sure if you ever heard of the sturgis motorcycle rally, the world largest motorcycle rally. Recently I acquired the drag strip, next year is the 85th annual motorcycle rally and over 750k people with be through. I wanna find a way to get you out here and race with us this august
Hell yeah brother
Maybe send him a personal message or email
Cleeter is a big time bike guy, so I sure hope this happens. Gas Monkey bought property in Sturgis and they have a race team as well, so contact Richard Rawlings to see if he's also interested. It would be awesome if the two teams met up for some shenanigans.
Cleet at Sturgis would be Epic, drag bike build? Don't think Matti would approve on that.
Thats awesome.. This is the exact type of thing his email is for. Not the one in the description
Anyone else nervous about Eagle rockin' on the quickjacks?
It did enter my mind that it could possibly fall off
I wasnt worried one bit about it when i noticed her rockin back n forth , until Cleet said he thought it was gonna shake off! LOL
Happy new years Brother!
Cleeter going to Daytona IN an Arca car?! I'm down. I'll see you there man!
He ended that rumor on Facebook last night. Not him
Its a different guy. Not Cleetus
No he’s just running the preseason test that is today and tomorrow. I don’t think he’ll be running the race next month.
@@g_men2121the official ARCA social media accounts have a video of him climbing it the car at the Daytona test… not sure where he “ended that rumor” lol
@@g_men2121 you sure? Arca Menards series posted 3 hrs ago saying the rumors are true and he’s practicing, with a video of him getting in a car.
The way she lifts of the ground when sending it on that full rip was crazy 24:30
Hell yeah brother
Vaino Makela and Niklas Anttila for the win! Big love from NorCal.

As long as you show all the tweaks and changes to make eagle go down, I'll watch all the testing videos. It's nice to see everything involved so people understand you don't just fuel up and go
Im Actually suprised that you show the testing for everyone to see, and not keep it a secret..GOOD STUFF !
zack revving the spark in the backround getting you to hurry up with the outro. hes itchin to take some stuff apart and get the sensors right.
Shout out to Zach for always coming in clutch and helping with everything
Every time I see these little saves...I get reminded that Cleetus is a Legit wheelman.
Right b4 the 1st run, it looked like Zach jumped the wall then did a lil tap dance real quick and then proceeded to line Cleeter up 🤣, I know he's getting dirt off his shoes before stepping onto prepped tracked surface it was just funny lol. And then boy did Eagle go as str8 as an arrow on that 1st pass. I got one of them Wire Me Up stickers under my hood on my truck cuz I've done like a mile of wiring in it lmao.
@CleetusM 15:39 Is that bare transmission and bell housing, I see ??? Your hauling... wheres your leg bars or trans shield. There are videos on YT of them coming apart, and some get really hot. Am I missing a layer of protection? Its better to see parts flying under rather than in it. With all the love, Raise hell, Praise Dale
You are about halfway to top fuel, and kinda past prostock
@@christiangray6238They don't need them. Three transmission cases are ballistic proof
