Watching these videos has become a nightly routine for my wife and I. Glad to see wholesome family content centered around the outdoors, good food, and just enjoying all of Gods creation. My wife is a professional photographer and would love to give you and your family a complimentary photo shoot over the summer if it’s something you are interested in. She loves your videos and loves what y’all are all about! We live in Panama City but have a family reunion in Daytona Beach every summer.
Just happened in your video. My family owns the REAL log cabin right there next to the cabin you were renting. Such a lovely peaceful area and so glad you all had a good time. A little piece of paradise.
@ my Grandfather built it in 1938 from logs on the property. They lived in Atlanta and many of the roads were dirt back then. Glad you were able to go down the deck and fish. There IS great fishing after The Hatchery releases fish in the Spring.
Such a cool Video Ian. Beautiful to see you and the Family enjoying the outdoors. I think the hike with the daughter seeing that Waterfall was priceless. As my youngest is turning 30 in a month, enjoy every moment you can, time goes by quick. Thankyou for taking us along for the ride. Y'all take care and God Bless❤🙏
Man that takes me back to my grandfather's cabin in the Pocono Mountains, sure do miss those days. Fishing, Hunting, loved it. But, love the beach too, that is why I live in Saint Augustine. Great video, look forward to the next.
Spent my misguided youth in the Poconos. Dingmans Ferry, PA Lots of trout fishing, dirt bike riding and hunting and hiking. Love the beach but crave the mountains.
I was starting to worry about maybe hearing some banjo music as we got up toward the falls. Even though the weather was less than optimal, you experienced the whole area under circumstances that most people miss--and you documented the effects of the rain. Trip was a win, all in all.
Great video for being family vacation Ian. Great to see your mom hung right in there with y'all every day. I really love this place. I would say you should book again trip in fall. I bet the mountains and river will be great then. So much to say about this trip. I give it a 12 not a 10. Thanks for taking us along with you.
Blue Ridge Lake is one of my favs. Perch, smallies, largemouth and crappie abound! All are among the BEST freshwater species to eat! Welcome to north Georgia guys! 🥰
Where do you go, we have 30acres right next to lake Nottley In Blairsville. My 13yr old son always wants to catch trout but not ton of luck, we tried Vogel park not much
Great video brother! You have that luck like me! Never fails when we plan a trip somewhere the weather sucks!! That's a really cool place y'all stayed when the weather is right. My Dad and I would bring some good old North Florida earthworms with us when we would go to the Smokey Mountains and the trout would tear them up!! As much as I love the saltwater, those mountain streams the right time of year, especially Spring, are the prettiest places in the world to me!
What a great Family Vacation. You guys desired this getaway. Thank you for taking us along with you. It was good to see your mom is doing well. The shot of Krystal, with B in her lap was the best picture of them. She loves her mom and it shows. Ian I am so excited for y'all and I can hardly wait to see where this Tug Trash channel goes. May God direct your path and give you great success. God Bless you buddy.
There’s just a fraction of a period in your life when your daughter thinks their Dad’s the best and happiness is spending time with them…really came through in this video! Your daughter’s smile reminded me of mine at her age! Soak it up!
@@BIGB-hn3wi I legit rewatch them just bc it’s so wholesome to see a family together just being real and having fun. I’m so proud he’s full time now he really earned it.
My family has had a lot of great memories there. Toccoa Valley Campground on Aska Rd has camping, rafting, and tubing starting up in the spring . Great video!
Great video. Georgia contains some of the most purest gold in the United States in world. In 1848 they found a lot of gold but 1849. The rush was for California. Georgia was pretty much forgotten. Love that video sorry for all the rain.!!!
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year !! You guys really know how to family time & get off the beaten path. Whoo hoo !!! Great video so glad you took us with you on your adventure.
It's so awesome that you took mom along. I bet she had a great time . Good luck catching anything on that dirty water, but try some fly fishing. Thanks for bringing us on your vacation drive safe back home ❤
Ahh man, sucks the fishing was terrible.... I'm sure that was the main reason y'all went to this location.... Was definitely looking forward to seeing you catch and cook some slabs but you made the best of it and time with the family is what comes first. Beautiful location. Great video brother
It’s funny watching you guys vacationing in the mountains. We live in the mountains. We spent a month in the keys a few years ago. Whenever we met people they would ask where we were from. When we told them we would always get this look of incredulity and the question why are you here. Standard answer was the mountains are beautiful but it’s hard to fish for saltwater fish there.
The saw mill is always a good place to eat. The Naughtily scramble is the best. It’s always a good time I’m the north Ga mountains. Great vid just like the rest.
So glad you and your family had an adventure! I moved to North GA mountains 3 years ago near Helen. I still have my cabin in south GA at Lake Blackshear which I bought 9 years ago just for fishing... Loved the video~
My old stomping grounds, I lived in Blue ridge, morganton area for years building cabins! You need to go back in the summer as well! Again, another great video!! Always enjoy them!
Thanks for the vaca tour Ian, where you were at is about 30 min from our escape cabin. We usually go during spring to see everything coming back to life and there is good trout fishing around that entire area if you know where to go. Very cool video and some really neat scenery.
Awesome video. That was a beautiful place you guys rented that looks so much fun and the food looks so good. And it looked like you guys had a lot of fun and the scenery and everything that you filmed was great can't wait to see another one like this from you.
Bro . Keep up the great content love every bit of what you're doing very educational for those that love to do outdoor activities and transition from tugboat captain to full-time UA-camr not a lot of people can do that but you're doing it and keep up the great work
Great video! THAT IS A HIKE! Been there done that, I don’t miss it! We were able to see the Atlanta skyline on the day we were there, it would take a moment to get your eyes to adjust however once they did you could see the buildings and sun reflecting off the glass of them as well!
Ian was starting the fire and in the background you hear crystal - “…talk about the flu…” I nearly died laughing!😂 Love y’all’s videos, you’re like the realest, most down-to-earth UA-camrs out there! Keep it up!
Great video. I've lived in Blairsville all my life, 64yrs I've been to all the places yall went. No place like the north GA mtns come back and enjoy it again.
That's a beautiful area. We went up there for many years with the sportbikes. It's a motorcyclist's dream! That Sawmill restaurant in Blairsville is my favorite place in that town for breakfast. Their pecan pancakes are the best! Once you learn the area there are lots and lots of little out of the way places that are just fantastic. I was lucky as my next door neighbor had a cabin in Blairsville that I could use anytime I wanted, and I have another friend that has a really nice cabin in Hayesville that I could use anytime. So, needless to say, I spent a good amount of time up there.
Ian, great YT! Many of us don’t see that part of the country, thanks for sharing. Remember when I caught my first rainbow trout (Echo Lake, CO), it was bigger than cast iron frying pan, that’s no fish tale. Lake was 1/2 frozen over and wind blowing; caught standing with back to wind. Good ol memories
I just about died laughing when you said heavy Clark Griswald vibes. 🤣🤣🤣 When you got to that seinging bridge the first thing I thought was Indiana Tug. But you said Indiana Jones. What an amazing adventure! Good to see everyone!!
Timeline 16:53 My wife and I started in one of the cabins across the landing for planes. yes you are correct. Planes fly in taxi up eat a meal and then fly out, when we were there, they were practically landing right in front of the cabin that we were staying in. It was cool and the food was very good.
WOW! I would live there in a HOT MINUTE! Always keep 1 rod set up to fish a worm. Looking at that water I would also consider using a float. Trout is pretty much ALL we get to chase here in PNW when it is not Salmon season. By that dam I would just set up a Carolina rig and fish a night crawler. The light a fire thing had me laughing my butt off! You guys are way too entertaining! Love it!
Fantastic! Rock Creek is my favorite stream to fish in that area. Hard to beat a stream with a fish hatchery right on it 😂😂. Pretty much after Halloween, that area is a grind to fish as the locals hit those streams hard.
I haven't watched it all yet. I am now and so far awesome man. I gotta admit I may be getting a little to envious. Haa. Glad you're making it bro keep up the nice work
In my experience fishing shocked rainbows in E. Tenn, always had good luck, good hook ups, after the rain, about a day before the water cleared back up, just slightly cloudy looking. That “roosty” tail with the brown and yellow body with black dots is my pick. Unless there was an all brown body and skirt with black dots. Had success with those, never did with the bright colors. Cheers, thanks for the video, had a few chuckles, appreciate the humor/sarcasm.
