The Scaldis Capper is a 1-Head Capping machine By SNEYDERS

The Scaldis capper is a 1-head capping machine reaching speeds of 3000 bph on 1 liter bottles and 2400 bph on 5 liter jerrycans. This relatively high speed for a single head capper, especially on the 5000ml containers, is achieved thanks to a servo driven starwheel independently from the servo driven capping head as well as adapted design of the bottle starwheel. Splashing of product during the rotation is avoided with a ramp up/down of the starwheel. Product spill due to trains of bottles coming to prompt stand still at the infeed of the capping machine is managed by smart conveying systems.
Cap closing torque can be adjusted during operation from the operator panel. The same servo driven capping head orient asymmetric caps such as fliptop closures which are typically used with showergels and shampoos. The Scaldis capper can also be used to apply closures on toilet duck bottles. For this application, bottles will be tilted in a special constructed starwheel. Typically toilet duck bottles are filled with corrosive bottles. Therefore, filling and capping machines come in anti-corrosion version. This includes amongst others epoxy coating of all the stainless steel parts and fume extraction at bottle neck level.
The Scaldis capper is constructed on a stainless steel chassis. It is accessible from all sides of the machine via the glass doors. It can be equipped with cap presence control with photocells or cameras and ejection conveyor for defective bottles.
