Plastic grass. What a great place for birds, bees and mother nature.
Well Nature has a way for fighting back
@@GreentopLandscapes Yes. And plastic is now everywhere. Even in our bodies and we don't know how it will affect us: ua-cam.com/video/NgjMd-VNEac/v-deo.html
I know it’s a nightmare, we must find a way forward

Give us a call James
Nice work John, I've watched loads of your videos and admire you eye dor detail.... I would love to pick your brains on how to price up jobs, I know every job is different but I'm thinking of taking landscaping up as a career change.
Hi Damon more than happy to help
Thanks John. Will be in touch.
I'm in the exact same position as you, I've got two gardens to do but no idea on the quoting side of it
Happy to help
@@GreentopLandscapes Thanks John would really appreciate that. Would it be best to drop you an email on your website?
Banging work John boy, how long did it take start to finish?
Hi there thank you, think it took 3 weeks because of the weather
Great job.
Did you trim the grass to fit before glueing, or did you trim it after glue dried?
Thank you.
Yes I did
Great job, what porcelain tiles are they you have put down.?
They Are Planks from a supplier in Cardiff Sean
Really enjoy your vlogs learned a lot about porcelain slabs. Yours is top quality work. Are the small black 75 mm edging slabs special for external work. Can't appear to find a stockist.
Hi Kevin mate thank you for your comment, we actually cut them ourselves mate.
@@GreentopLandscapes what mix do you lay your porcelain slabs on ?
Beautiful! What tiles are they as they are exactly what we're looking for?
Looks good but your timber decking is not properly secured in couple of years all will be twisted. Its good looking garden
Hi Ali it will if its not i totally agree, stay safe my friend
Am good at my job landscaping but wow shithot buddy Al be steal some of your ideas bro
Is the haunching for the artificial grass a concrete mix, or just 5.1 sand to cement ? Sharp sand if so or standard builders sand, last stages of my garden make over
A concrete mix is better Philip
Nice one . But why didn't you replace those burnt gravel boards ?
Great point, thats why I made this channel as I learn from many, thank you
The fence was actually painted later by the client any way
I am looking on putting Porcelain tiles In my garden but I’m wondering are they Slippy as I have kids Thank you
You need an R11 rating
Thank you for your reply would you recommend anywhere in particular to go and have a look At some
Brilliant job guys👍🏻 Can you tell me if porcelain slabs can be laid apart and then put resin bound gravel between them?
Hi John, thanks for your response, Personally I would not do this as water will coarse a problem under the paving.
Greentop Landscapes & Design Thank you, so is a different laying technique required for gravel and slabs together?
How do you make sure there is no water pooling?
Well it’s not good
Could I ask where I can buy the brick edge from I can’t seem to find any ?? Many thanks.Scott
I had to cut them myself sorry
Nice job, shame you didn’t show us in exact detail how you made a nice circular cut on that decking with that tape measure trick 🤔😁
Watch the next video, just for you just uploading
Thanks Johnny Boy 😘
Any recommendations on where to source porcelain paving please Jonny.?
Hi Jake, yes there are lots of places my friend, where abouts are you?
Thanks for the reply, I’m in Exeter.
Kudos for the Video! Excuse me for chiming in, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you thought about - Saankramer Breathtaking Design System (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a good one off guide for learning how to make money with landscaping minus the headache. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my mate got great success with it.
Fantastic work. Could you give an indication of what a project like this would cost?
every project is different mate
I would price this with these materials at around £14500, £3k rip out, £5500 materials, £3300 labour with VAT.
@@kevinbaird7277 jesus you must be a millionaire or have no clients at all 😅
First time asking a question on UA-cam. How did you nail down the grass to the concrete what nails did you use @ Jonny?
Just realised you said you glued it down 🙈
No worries peter stay safe
How long did this project take?
3. Weeks
@@GreentopLandscapes thanks for letting me know, don’t suppose you could do a video on quoting please I’ve been self employed for a while now but sometimes have difficulty quoting. And sometimes the job isn’t worthwhile
Just wondering how much this cost to do?
Depends on a lot
@@GreentopLandscapes Do you ever do any work up north? Yorkshire?
What do you use to glue the artificial grass down to the concrete?
An Aquatic glue from Enviro
How did you do the curved cuts?
On the slabs
with an ECD115 Rubi blade
Great job. Shame they wanted fake grass.
I get you mate
Terrible. Grass is far to high against edging. Big lip on it, would not be happy with this finish.
Its so that it feels right under foot, recommendation from the Manufacturer's is !0 to 12 mm and you can not feel the edge of the paving.
What are the black edgings called
Dean they have been cut from a Porcelain unit Sir
Fine work by the way , when you say porcelain unit , is there anyway I can acquire them please
how can you call this a "garden", there is not one living organism. It's a desert devoid of life.
If its what they want thats it.. we have since planted the borders.
Fair play you're very good better than Tommy walsh
Lol I wish but thanks mate
Fake grass is horrible. Some people have no taste.
But they may feel they have
Fake grass wak! I want to puke!🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮
hope your feeling better
Looks amazing
Thank you
