TennisMaster I bought this case about a year or two ago. It has been amazing for me. I am someone who doesn’t shoot with GoPro daily. If you are like me and are interested in this stuff for a trip or experience and not for a career then definitely. Even career wise, this can definitely be a good start.

I got a cheap camera for £26 and got a bunch of these accesories with it, ordered my GoPro 8 after it came on deal because the camera sucks and using the accessories are extremely unreliable. I would rather pay the 1 month(or free first month sub) to gopro plus for the 50% mount discounts deal be cause the plastic is of a higher grade and they are machined to pass higher quality standards.

Bought this set when i first got my GoPro. Only use like 30% of the stuff. Still worth it for the price. Also, the tripod was the first to break...
My tripod broke the second day of using it but everything else works great

The bike handle bar mount was the first, day 1, to crack in half on my primary bike. Bought another one and it didn’t even fit on my other bike.

I use my wrist mount for roller coaster ride and snorkeling .
I've used mine the same way but I don't like the wrist one because it rolls to the side easily. I've bought another type over the palm hand area.
I took my GoPro zip lining with a cheap wrist mount. When I got to the end of the line I smiled for the camera only to see it was gone! The bit that spins around had popped out of the strap and taken my GoPro down into the dense forest below.
On the 4 km walk back up the hill we spotted my camera just sitting next to the path!

I bought the cheaper kit and like it just fine. It came with more bits than I will ever use! For the price it's a no brainer, just buy it. And the quality is fine, it don't really matter whose name is on it since it's all made in China.
I found GoPro hero 4 + accessories on eBay for 16$😲, WHAT??
I got this set this week. Used the tall mount on my bike, bumped it slightly and it shattered inexplicably. Got two hairline cracks on my back screen (luckily out on the bezel) the first day I had my camera. Great kit but don't fully trust the durability of the plastic. Great videos David. Keep em' coming.
That suction mount is actually pretty good if you're sticking it to stationary glass. I use it to stick my GoPro to the glass for my hockey games and I haven't had any issues with it using it that way. Also, can confirm that the yellow floatie works.
I lost my first GoPro last week surfing. My fault. What I miss is the old-style chesty. I mean really old. Foam covering that hard plastic. It made for a great POV surfing mount around my neck/upper chest just by a couple alterations with velcro straps. Anyone got one of those old ones they want to sell? I've been waiting for it to go flat so I can go out and look for it. Shallow reef break.

@@jackarrow-journal5317 I had it around my neck on a chest harness I rigged to be up at the neck. It was a small day so I didn't secure it all the way and a weak wave came and I decided not to go and I let it roll over my back and it lifted the harness off and it disappeared.
When secured it works great even in heavy surf.
Now I add a small bright orange silicone jacket and safety line just incase I get careless again.
I brought it out for the sunrise that morning.

Got the same kit, it’s great for beginners just to try it and know what exactly you’re gonna be using in the future. Also when pick your best accessories, get GoPro plus for a trial period to get 50% discount on authentic mounts with much better quality, because these are cheap and won’t last long. Cool video, by the way!

I bought accessories for about $17 in Ebay and they feel like quality stuff. Just because it isn't expensive doesn't automatically mean its useless
I stopped buying GoPro adhesive mounts because they are overpriced. I prefer GoPro brand mounts since I find them of higher quality but the adhesive mounts are a waste of money.

I've put one of those suction mounts on a polaris rzr and went offroading with it. Didnt give me any problems.

Yeah Gopro’s accessories too expensive compare to third party company who offers way cheaper with the exact same thing, but then again when you use original stuff it’s just feel different and have more confident, i would buy the original stuff if i had money and would buy third party if i dont have enough money
The suction mount works great! Attatched it to my mustang on my bumper and it held to a high acceleration.

Bought one of these kits with even more accessories. All work great. I simply glued the foam insert to the sides of the case then it worked fine and it does fit the Gopro and some major accessories quite well.
Genius idea glueing the foam in place!

my imitation GoPro loves all the imitation stuff. camera and all accessories under $100. Also, I am a professional videographer, the cheap kits are fantastic to train my assistant and interns without freaking out if they broke a $400 camera.

It’s been an entire 2 days that I haven’t bought anything on Amazon. I was going for 3 days to make it a new record for me, but even though this is now up $26.95, I couldn’t resist.
Bought the exact set for our trip to Mexico a couple months ago, not sure what I'd actually use... Well ended up using less than 1/4 of it but glad I had it all with me, just in case.
The float stick you could just put two lines of electrical tape about an inch apart for a grip! 🤙🏼

I actually bought this when I got my gopro last year! I love all of the things that came with it, and then I ended up buying some of the ones from your other go pro video, like the 3 way pole and the joby suction mount...best of both worlds!

I know thatI'm late but to anyone thinking of buying this, go for it but do NOT use the clipper mount that slides into the sticky mounts, I used it on the chest mount and lost it in a lake about 4 months ago at an aqua park, just got it back though.
Been researching action cams and had almost resigned myself to getting something second tier, like an Akaso, because I couldn't handle the expense of both a GoPro and even a starter pack of their accessories. I had actually stumbled on the the Neewer kit and wishlisted it on Amazon prior to finding this video. So imagine my amazement to find your review of that exact kit, and my further amazement to find that the bits are decent quality. So it's gonna be GoPro (and Neewer) FTW! Thanks!
The bad thing about those Amazon mounts is the chrome nut where the GP thumb screw goes in... usually pops out. In your backpack, it comes out, you loose it, then the mount doesn't work.
Wrist mount: my tandem skydiver instructor used one to video us falling. Very cool

I bought this set. I can also guarantee that the poor monopod can hold a decently heavy camera. I stupidly tested it. It can definitely hold an action camera.

It's amazing how cheap things could really be if a popular name wasn't attached and trust me they are making a decent profit on these . Don't be fooled by those overpriced name brands 😉✌. Plastic is cheap so it should be as much as these companies especially in the action figures department 😂

GoPro's pricing is a good reflection of their corporate greed mentality.
I used the wrist mount when I hiked the Grand Canyon, in Saint Maarten on a snorkel trip and in Hawaii when on a snorkel trip.

I fell asleep watching one video and woke up to this video. I believe I bought this kit based on your review two years ago. I love some of the pieces as you do. I put a hood on the selfie stick to hang from rafters. I found that the mounts are threaded from the opposite side so difficult to use with the Media Mod. My Media Mod for the GP8B broke so it don't matter.

ive had 3 of the joby suction cups and on all of them the balls inside have disintegrated after like 2 or three uses
I’ve had that happen as well, but usually after about a year. Check out the PGYTECH video i posted recently! Their suction mount is the best I’ve found!
Neewer suction cup mount sucks tremendously. It wouldn’t even stick to my window. The chest strap was ok though

I feel like one of the reasons it is so much on the website is because you are also paying for the name, whereas the other stuff is an off brand but still pretty much some of the exact same things gopro used to make.

It all has to do with GoPro trying to recoup R@D cost to continue innovating vs third party waiting to rip-off designs and profit off GoPro R@D. In the end it hurts GoPro by reducing revenue to continue innovating.
