idk if anyone considered this yet, but if the map is more steep then the map changes are a direct buff to solos and small groups. not only will there be more areas uninhabitable by big clans due to terrain, but because bigger groups will also have far less space to work with - it will add more competition between bigger groups. This will allow for more grub opportunities. pvp-wise there will also be less pressure on small groups bc the pvp focus might get shifted towards ‘bigger clan vs bigger clan’ due to new shortage of flat areas to build on. if the big clans decide to bite the bullet anyway and live in an unfavorable area, the base layout might get affected so bad that maybe there will be more opportunities for raiding them for smaller groups as well.
This is exactly how the legacy map played out. As a solo I would always build in the rocky areas and didn't really get messed with other than by solos or duos. Meanwhile there was also a time when multiple small groups combined all our C4 to raid a massive clan base in the valley.

How can there be a skeleton in the plane underwater? Wouldn't the pilot crash, die, his body turn into a bag, float to surface and despawn eventually? The pilot would then wake up on the beach, naked, with a torch and rock and now be dealing with all the sweatlords?
only thing missing on the cliffs now are little edges where can hide a honeycombed base. But what we really need is the ability to snap attach foundations to ceilings and ground.
