Check out the building skins , some have smaller hit boxes on double door frame. When you build a roof to shoot from, there is an invisible collider on the pay skins that prevents you from falling off.

Other than this, I'd say there's not much reason to do DLC except for your own aesthetic preferences. Those lanterns are so nice, though.
Hate how much ppl sleep on bone armor, freaking default BP. 25% projectile protection for both pieces. Only 30 cloth and 100 bones for the full set. Literally just skin 3-4 players with a bone knife or a combat knife. Having a set that gives you full 25% projectile resistance like scrubs or ninja but for only 30 cloth total is huge. Not to mention that against NPCs like scientists that counts as 50% protection. Against animals that's considered 80% melee protection. Skin the bodies you kill, bone armor is worth a lot in the early game but cheap to make
@@2chinz-YaMama Wrong, but I understand why you are using this logic. NPC damage is actually just bite damage. Most sets with low bite protection are stuff like hazmat suit or ninja suit. So wearing hide gear and headress and bandana etc does actually give optimal protection against NPC's
The old Xmas lights that didn’t use power were really good to mark a Heli landing pad and for illumination. I sold mine for over $100 on the marketplace.
fun fact when snow machine released u could bunker an entire mine entrance from your base below making your cave 100% unraidable. this lasted a few weeks before fix.
Industrial lights ar very handy. They are cheap, consumes only 1 energy and you have them from the start. You just find battery(small or medium) solar panel and you have lights in your starter base. And the light from them is much better than ceiling lights. it makes nice, even white light, doesnt hang from ceiling. Long story short, if you like to have lights in your base, you should buy this lights.
3:23 How could you forget the Clatter helmet??? Now that Clatter is free, you can AFK in it for 30 minutes and get the Clatter helmet. It costs 30 frags and you can pair it with a bandana for a whopping *25 head protection.* Best part is, _you don't even need a tier 1 workbench to craft it_ You could basically just melt down a few tuna cans and instantly have a great helmet. The only downside is that you're basically wearing two sparklers on your head and at night it might make it easy for people to dome you lol. Although it isn't supposed to produce enough light to be a useful alternative to the candle hat, if you are in a cramped base at certain angles, it can still illuminate the walls. Also if you use the skinning knife on someone who is wearing the Clatter helmet, it used to be the case that the sparkle effect would still activate when placed on walls. So essentially you could have a similar effect to hanging up the *Christmas lights* in your bsae
An Alternative for the Surgeon Scrubs can be the Egg suit same Stats Wet Protection etc. and no WB requiered like the Ninja suit for those who missed it like me :( only downside is it has little durability. But if you are just grubbing somebody or use it as an Armor to just get 1 Kill it will be enough
noteworthy there's a garage door skin which makes the door into a chain link fence, cant shoot thru it, but you can see very clearly. Depending on the circumstance its can be useful.
Adobe half walls blocks vision and the ability to loot pixel gap bunkers, so upgrading from stone to adobe will “close” your bunker and upgrading to stone will “open” it again (not sure id that works with other stone skins)
Small correction, frontier pack also includes the chair, which is the only buyable item in the game which doesnt require a blueprint, and gives 100% comfort outright. So if someone is missing the twitch trophies this is the only way to guarantee 100% comfort with only a single item. Otherwise throw up a shit load of rugs, next to your furnaces, though the lack of sitting means you will heal slightly slower. edit... oh wait you said this. well im leaving the comment anyways for engagement
Damn, I didn't realize I got so lucky on a few things; the first skin reward I got for playing was for the bandanna, so it unlocked it for me to craft =D Similarly, and more controversially, I got the sofa, ninja suit, and red factory door, and one or 2 double doors with windows from twitch (among all of them, these were probably the most important - still really lame that they don't re-run some of the really big skin drops like those from time to time for the people who didn't get them, since they can be fucking HUGE advantages for the people who happened to be around at the time and available to participate in the campaigns.. Also happened to buy the paper lantern when it first came out, since lighting was particularly bad at the time, and was pleasantly surprised when I came back to the game to find that I now also owned the white one for no extra cost =D
dont forget the sofa has a glitch which allows you to kill people through doors and see through doors (works with guns but u have to have code on the door) so u can make wallhack peaks with them to kill roofcampers. has been in the game ever since the dlc was added and never got patched

I have frog boots but I missed the red sheet metal door with a window i will forever beat myself up for not having it when i knew about it at the time. I have the paid one from the store but 1. it's ugly af but i need it over my beautiful skins for gameplay reasons outside the base, and 2. the window is smaller than the twitch drop version so you can't see people crouching outside your door. I really wish they would embrace new single sheet metal door skins with a window to give more decoration options when a window is necessary. Do you think you could go over cool unique airlock builds using all the themed base skins? airlocks with shop front, vending machines, stairsets, roof pieces, etc, etc that look awesome thanks to the skins while staying functional and practical in game?
you also missed the lumberjack pack, that gives you acces to craft metal tools without having the buleprint for them, good way to save some scrap early into wipe :)

Yeah, stone roofs stick out past the edge but brutalist/brick roofs don't, so you can make a "bunker" that can be toggled by changing the skin.

I think NPCs scale off of how many pieces of armor. Each worn piece is 5% dmg reduction

Garland was the first thing I got. It was only $3 I always hand them out to my neighbors as a peace offering.
The lanterns last so long though. An entire night phase costs around 2-3 low grade.

barrels are super op they pretty much take up the same size as small box or bbq and have storage of a large box
Water guns can defuse satchels through doors and walls so maybe it can save you from a raid

Wolf head alternative skins (rat, dragon etc..) take 3 seconds to craft and deal the same stats as wolf head. Should be in top tier of ptw.
Cursed cauldron can also be placed inside boxes so helps a lot if you want to have a very compact base
