The Heki, Shou Bun Kun & Mogou Being Squirtle, Warturtle and Blastoid is so perfect and out of the box. So many YTers are fans of manga/shows, but you sincerely are, and it comes off with that alone. It’s sooo perfect, that Heki and Shou Bun Kun trusted Shin & Ten realizing their talents early on. Mogou keeping both mother fuvking Kanki and Ousen ( whose even more dangerous imo. Wanting to be a king himself or so people think) Kanki is crazy, unpredictable, likely from the Zeno tribe. But Ousen’s way more scary IMO. Love how both are like kings in their own way, one of bandits, the other recruiting insanely powerful vassals regardless of history. But Mogou even though he was the best “by the book general” completely opposite to Kanki and Ousen. But how he kept their loyalty has been the greatest mystery to me personally. Mogou reminds me of coach Tomlin( Steelers) his predecessor loved trick player, but Tomlin doesn’t believe in Trick plays, and goes for “the best oiled machine, is the best.” But then again Mogou not just surviving the ara against legends, despite often loosing. That he went from country to country till he landed in Qin, that respected him, and gave him opportunities. And even though he probably could’ve used tricks to beat opponents he never gave information on other factions he fought for. Kanki and Ousen probably respected that, without trickery, he was so accomplished. That he traveled ( like Kanki) and desired Status( like Ousen) is probably why they both respected him. Also the coalition arc, when the one general who didn’t trust Kanki, or like him. Finally trusted him. And Kanki proving himself to be loyal was always interesting IMO.

i remember reading a historic article about hakuki , not linked to kingdom the manga , and how he bested rempa and how frustrated he was when the king of qin stoped the war and didnt allow him to finish zhoa once and for all . ousen was his leutenent and hakuki was the first to spot his talent , and hakuki believed that if there was anyone who could unify china other than him it would be ousen (wang jian) , but after he was forced to commit suicide , and after he was demoted by the king to a normal soldier , ousen too was demoted to a normal soldier and being close to hakuki ,the king and the palace didnt trust him .i think hara will use this in the manga , and i expect ousen will use the same trick hakuki used vs reimpa ,thats why we didnt see a lot about hakuki vs rempa .after hakuki and rempa were in stale mate becuase rempa just like ribuku chose to build defences deep within zhao territories and lure them ,rempa was unabe to ambush hakuki because of how arefull he was ,at that moment hakuki had to rely on a different strategy , instructing the king of qin to spread news through spies in zhao that rempa was afraid to face him and scared to lose , at the same time hakuki sent messages to rempa negotiating a peace deal , rempa was dumb enough to engage in them and hakuki used those letters as proof that rempa was negotiating a peace deal and not willing to fight , the king of zhao frustated got rid of him and replaced him with a young general ,the rest is history . rempa fled to neighboring kingdom , and hakuki killed the newly appointed inexperienced general .i believe this is how ousen will get rid of ribuku too after reaching stale mate , he ll use a similar trick to get the corrupt palace in zhao to kill ribuku .
I feel like Kouen is actaully #1 just based off his title of "Conquer of the east" I feel like Hara means East as in Gakuki who was THE general of the east.
I find it amusing that with all of these generals in the manga, off-screen somewhere in the Chu state you have an infant Han Xin that will clear pretty much everyone on the list
Way late, but I think I have a theory as far as Gaku Jou and where he’s been. If you look on the wiki site, it will tell you that he is a relative of Gaku Ki and that Family, of course, would be beloved in Yan. there’s no way he returned to the king after he failed to capture the most hated adversary. So my theory is the second he lost. The battle was wrapped up. He made a beeline with all his loyal treats straight to Yan and has been quiet ever since. If this is true then when we get around to that state, he’s going to pop up like a bad ex and ruined somebody’s day.
I would put in top 4 the historically greatest general of the warring states period ... So maybe 1 Ousen 2 Riboku 3 Haku Ki 4 Renpa And the military God Gaku Ki 5
Nice list 👍 Surprised a bit at #1, but probably well deserved. Remember quite little of him actually. Great to see the great general of Chu at #4, I'd say he's appropriately placed, might even be higher in the list. Those 2 generals under Riboku (Kou & Rei), I'd place them much higher. They were able to stop Ousen's generals with no sweat and it had to be Ousen who had to personally take action to beat them (though I do agree it's more of a credit to Riboku who trained them and the army than those 2). I'd put Moubu lower than Tou, Ousen, Kanki and Yotanwa. The reason is that though he is very damn strong (possibly the strongest), he lacks a lot in other aspects, be it leading or strategy. Even the commanders under him don't seem to be at the same level as the commanders under other Qin top generals. As for Riboku, I divide his capabilities in two parts. First is setting up ground work/traps and creating situations favorable to himself before the war actually starts. His feats in this are aspect are phenomenal and I'd rank him #1 here. His feats such as trapping Ouki, creating a coalition force without letting Qin find out, trapping Genshin, moving 30k+ troops in coalition war to a different path, the trap of the entry city (forgot the name) or the fortress of Gyou. He also managed to train a heck lot of talents to absolute monster levels (Shunsuikun, Keisha, Kei&Rou) and also managed recruit absolute monsters (Bananji, Houken, Shibashou). But when u look at Riboku's capabilities on the battlefield, it is severely lacking. Despite creating such favorable situations he has still been unable to win. Without the Houken card, Riboku wouldn't have been able to kill Ouki and would have been beheaded by Genshin and Duke Hyou. He still lost coalition war, battle at Sai, and war for Gyou despite having huge advantages. So in terms of his capabilities on field, I'll rank Riboku way lower than Kanki, Moubu, Tou or Yotanwa. Probably even lower than likes of Karin and Gohomei and definitely under the previous 6 Qin great general, 3 Zhao heavenly generals and probably Wei 7 fire dragons as well. Also, those 4 from Chu from the latest arc would probably make it pretty high in this list.
History puts Ou Sen, Ri Boku and I believe Gakuki as the greatest generals during the warring period. His defeats are not solely due to his own actions, his king is a piece of shit for lack of better words (Coalition war not included). History alone makes him top 5 regardless of personal opinion, his accolades and accomplishments speak for themselves

In manga, Riboku is a general who needs huge number superiority and high number of good pawns to have a chance to win (and even then he loses). Kinda why I said that I might not even put him in top 20. In history he was an undefeated general who fought off Qin with smaller armies. In History, I'd put him alongside Ousen and Gakuki and just under Hakuki. I guess Kouen or Shibasaku or someone else could complete the top 5.

By the way do you have a discord? You truly are a huge fan, unlike many who copy other YTers opinions and theories. Or go on forums and not give credit. But clearly you have a love for kingdom. Would love to talk to you about some aspects. ( especially regarding the dukes Sheild. Though I’m suspecting soon, after Sei had to talk to Kanki 1on1. Shin is not just going to have to be Sei’s sword, but his metaphorical shield. To protect enemy nation citizens from guys like Kanki. Having to protect citizens for Sei’s dream to come true.) Originally after the invasion arc where Houkem was killed, because Shin had to be a tactician at HQ but also move out himself at times to kindle the “fires” he was going to accept/use the Dukes Shield. As Shin did what we saw in the very first arc when he was only part of a 5 man squad and not even the captain. But in that war, he chose other members to be his arrow so to speak where as in the past, he was the Dukes arrow, or Ouki’s. But him seeing things the tacticians couldn’t and interrupting so many plans, by doing what Duke Hyou did, I had hoped to see that. Shin doesn’t realize yet, but his morality is insanely important for Sei’s unification plans. As if these wars were win by any means necessary, it’d create a lot of hate, high chance for rebellion. But his earnest “Fight Soldiers” & “Don’t punish citizens” Lastly what made Ousen an insane commander. Not only beating Riboku though he admitted it was just that their young generations were just better then Zhao’s. Riboku having to send his guys ( such as the white haired guy. Would’ve made the difference, as he could’ve put a stop to one of the 3. M) But Ousen not only reached out to another nation before the Campaign, but he used the tactic of giving from city to city. Protecting the citizens funneling them into the major city. Fits with Sei’s unification dream and I’m sure will come up again. As Zhao citizens can say “Ousen, kept his word. He let us go. Not all of them are like Kanki” Crazier yet, China in 2000~2022. Was the cause of mass immigration throughout Africa to Northern Africa than into the EU. And both South and Central America immigrating in never seen before sixes. Causing both much of the EU to have: housing problems, increased crime, economic problems, same as the USA & Mexico( families being put in cages, separated to be vetted, treated medically, supported for food, language classes etc) and the immigration was so massive that nations that already have methods for taking in hundreds to low thousands, were so overwhelmed it split populations, and became a huge political issue. But similar to the citizens Ousen herded no questions were asked. Ousen just looked like the good guy as he kept to his word when the Zhao couldn’t. And Ousen gave choices when the Zhao couldn’t.
Only a matter of time, Piao said it at the very beginning of the series. In their duel of 1000, Piao will win first but Shin always figures out how to win the next one.
I'm still reading Kingdom (currently on Sanyou Campaign) , so I'm saving this video for later, but Hou Ken is my personal favorite General. Bro has the battle prowess of Ou Ki, but is batshit crazy like Duke Hyou, the guy is a scary mofo. My top 5 favorites so far has to be 5 - Heki 4 - Renpa, 3 - Duke Hyou 2 - Ou Ki 1 - Hou Ken
I personally would have Ousen above Renpa at this point, his achievements are greater in terms of the Zhou conquest and the Coalition Arc and he was essentially the reason Renpa lost to Mougou
So try for so many posts$ as a kingdom fan, I thought you may find the information regarding our times issues and historical generals to be interesting. That Ousen’s protection of citizens and funneling them into a major city, as a way to destroy them economically, foodstuffs, shelter & water wise, is so effective it’s still done today, by advanced nations.
personally, i'd put Ousen in top 5 just for the Gyou performance. That was so smart like there is no other feat in the series that comes close to that personally(maybe Kanki agains Kouchou but that wasn't as impressive to me)
@@liveviasatellite let me ask you this relating to Kingdom. Considering all that Shin did during the 6 kingdom Coalition arc. Do you think that being promoted was enough? Because to me looking into all he actually did, he should’ve been promoted straight to 5k commander or at the every least 4k commander. With that I think many issues I have seen people have with the Fei Shin Force commanders would’ve been fixed. Plus would’ve made a massive statement. But that’s just me.
Good video but i think Ouhen should be ahead of Shin in my opinion....Its seems they are on par on martial prowess if I'm being generous. Ouhen had higher stat for strength than shin, he was able to kill Gyoun'un and when he fought shin, he had no scratches compared to shin who sustained lil on his face. I'm not saying he will win against shin in a duel but i can't honestly say otherwise. He is obviously more intelligent and a better stratgist/commander. This is coming from a shin fan
Yes but I think Shin is slightly above them and the main reason I think so is these guys have had proper training all their lives and shin is already on par with them. His trajectory is ridiculous they've had such a head start and he grows exponentially. Even when they awakened their forces Ousen saw the Hi Shin unit as a sure bet and Ouhons unit as a maybe, so even Ousen is looking at Shin as better. Not tryna change your opinion though because honestly I can see your point about Ouhons intelligence. I just believe Shins instincts counter that even though Ouhon would still have a slight edge. But then Shin would have the slight edge in Martial prowess making them pretty equal. That's why I have them ranked fairly close

But yeah he still not got a proper military training especially with strategy compare to Mouten and Ouhon. If he master that instinct of his, he will be a really dangerous opponent especially for those strategical type generals.
Renpa, Hakuki, Riboku, and Ousen are regarded as the top 4 Generals to come out of the Warring States lmao. And Riboku like destroyed Ouki (even if Houken lost, Zhao still would've won), so he should definitely be above him.

I think hakuki was not as strong as ouki, he was just very scary and being the leader of six great generals, made the other states afraid of the 6GG. Picking wars that he will definitely win and takes no risk (similar to ousen) When he wins the war, he just kills all the opposing soldiers (similar to kanki)
I dunno if u share my opinion but After 760 chapters, I guarantee that Kanki is top3, and if the rule of generals is to win battles, then he's number 1 by a marge

i remember reading a historic article about hakuki , not linked to kingdom the manga , and how he bested rempa and how frustrated he was when the king of qin stoped the war and didnt allow him to finish zhoa once and for all . ousen was his leutenent and hakuki was the first to spot his talent , and hakuki believed that if there was anyone who could unify china other than him it would be ousen (wang jian) , but after he was forced to commit suicide , and after he was demoted by the king to a normal soldier , ousen too was demoted to a normal soldier and being close to hakuki ,the king and the palace didnt trust him .i think hara will use this in the manga , and i expect ousen will use the same trick hakuki used vs reimpa ,thats why we didnt see a lot about hakuki vs rempa .after hakuki and rempa were in stale mate becuase rempa just like ribuku chose to build defences deep within zhao territories and lure them ,rempa was unabe to ambush hakuki because of how arefull he was ,at that moment hakuki had to rely on a different strategy , instructing the king of qin to spread news through spies in zhao that rempa was afraid to face him and scared to lose , at the same time hakuki sent messages to rempa negotiating a peace deal , rempa was dumb enough to engage in them and hakuki used those letters as proof that rempa was negotiating a peace deal and not willing to fight , the king of zhao frustated got rid of him and replaced him with a young general ,the rest is history . rempa fled to neighboring kingdom , and hakuki killed the newly appointed inexperienced general .i believe this is how ousen will get rid of ribuku too after reaching stale mate , he ll use a similar trick to get the corrupt palace in zhao to kill ribuku .

Way late, but I think I have a theory as far as Gaku Jou and where he’s been.
If you look on the wiki site, it will tell you that he is a relative of Gaku Ki and that Family, of course, would be beloved in Yan. there’s no way he returned to the king after he failed to capture the most hated adversary. So my theory is the second he lost. The battle was wrapped up. He made a beeline with all his loyal treats straight to Yan and has been quiet ever since. If this is true then when we get around to that state, he’s going to pop up like a bad ex and ruined somebody’s day.

Surprised a bit at #1, but probably well deserved. Remember quite little of him actually. Great to see the great general of Chu at #4, I'd say he's appropriately placed, might even be higher in the list.
Those 2 generals under Riboku (Kou & Rei), I'd place them much higher. They were able to stop Ousen's generals with no sweat and it had to be Ousen who had to personally take action to beat them (though I do agree it's more of a credit to Riboku who trained them and the army than those 2).
I'd put Moubu lower than Tou, Ousen, Kanki and Yotanwa. The reason is that though he is very damn strong (possibly the strongest), he lacks a lot in other aspects, be it leading or strategy. Even the commanders under him don't seem to be at the same level as the commanders under other Qin top generals.
As for Riboku, I divide his capabilities in two parts. First is setting up ground work/traps and creating situations favorable to himself before the war actually starts. His feats in this are aspect are phenomenal and I'd rank him #1 here. His feats such as trapping Ouki, creating a coalition force without letting Qin find out, trapping Genshin, moving 30k+ troops in coalition war to a different path, the trap of the entry city (forgot the name) or the fortress of Gyou. He also managed to train a heck lot of talents to absolute monster levels (Shunsuikun, Keisha, Kei&Rou) and also managed recruit absolute monsters (Bananji, Houken, Shibashou).
But when u look at Riboku's capabilities on the battlefield, it is severely lacking. Despite creating such favorable situations he has still been unable to win. Without the Houken card, Riboku wouldn't have been able to kill Ouki and would have been beheaded by Genshin and Duke Hyou. He still lost coalition war, battle at Sai, and war for Gyou despite having huge advantages. So in terms of his capabilities on field, I'll rank Riboku way lower than Kanki, Moubu, Tou or Yotanwa. Probably even lower than likes of Karin and Gohomei and definitely under the previous 6 Qin great general, 3 Zhao heavenly generals and probably Wei 7 fire dragons as well.
Also, those 4 from Chu from the latest arc would probably make it pretty high in this list.
Riboku is where he belongs he's not no.1 do u understand the monsters that is hakuki and gakuki and ouki

History puts Ou Sen, Ri Boku and I believe Gakuki as the greatest generals during the warring period. His defeats are not solely due to his own actions, his king is a piece of shit for lack of better words (Coalition war not included). History alone makes him top 5 regardless of personal opinion, his accolades and accomplishments speak for themselves
@@dajonbarnes5149 History and manga aren't exactly same. In manga, Riboku is a general who needs huge number superiority and high number of good pawns to have a chance to win (and even then he loses). Kinda why I said that I might not even put him in top 20.
In history he was an undefeated general who fought off Qin with smaller armies. In History, I'd put him alongside Ousen and Gakuki and just under Hakuki. I guess Kouen or Shibasaku or someone else could complete the top 5.

( especially regarding the dukes Sheild. Though I’m suspecting soon, after Sei had to talk to Kanki 1on1. Shin is not just going to have to be Sei’s sword, but his metaphorical shield. To protect enemy nation citizens from guys like Kanki. Having to protect citizens for Sei’s dream to come true.)
Originally after the invasion arc where Houkem was killed, because Shin had to be a tactician at HQ but also move out himself at times to kindle the “fires” he was going to accept/use the Dukes Shield.
As Shin did what we saw in the very first arc when he was only part of a 5 man squad and not even the captain. But in that war, he chose other members to be his arrow so to speak where as in the past, he was the Dukes arrow, or Ouki’s. But him seeing things the tacticians couldn’t and interrupting so many plans, by doing what Duke Hyou did, I had hoped to see that.
Shin doesn’t realize yet, but his morality is insanely important for Sei’s unification plans. As if these wars were win by any means necessary, it’d create a lot of hate, high chance for rebellion. But his earnest “Fight Soldiers” & “Don’t punish citizens”
Lastly what made Ousen an insane commander. Not only beating Riboku though he admitted it was just that their young generations were just better then Zhao’s.
Riboku having to send his guys ( such as the white haired guy. Would’ve made the difference, as he could’ve put a stop to one of the 3. M)
But Ousen not only reached out to another nation before the Campaign, but he used the tactic of giving from city to city. Protecting the citizens funneling them into the major city. Fits with Sei’s unification dream and I’m sure will come up again. As Zhao citizens can say “Ousen, kept his word. He let us go. Not all of them are like Kanki”
Crazier yet, China in 2000~2022. Was the cause of mass immigration throughout Africa to Northern Africa than into the EU. And both South and Central America immigrating in never seen before sixes. Causing both much of the EU to have: housing problems, increased crime, economic problems, same as the USA & Mexico( families being put in cages, separated to be vetted, treated medically, supported for food, language classes etc) and the immigration was so massive that nations that already have methods for taking in hundreds to low thousands, were so overwhelmed it split populations, and became a huge political issue.
But similar to the citizens Ousen herded no questions were asked. Ousen just looked like the good guy as he kept to his word when the Zhao couldn’t. And Ousen gave choices when the Zhao couldn’t.

I'm still reading Kingdom (currently on Sanyou Campaign) , so I'm saving this video for later, but Hou Ken is my personal favorite General. Bro has the battle prowess of Ou Ki, but is batshit crazy like Duke Hyou, the guy is a scary mofo. My top 5 favorites so far has to be 5 - Heki 4 - Renpa, 3 - Duke Hyou 2 - Ou Ki 1 - Hou Ken

So try for so many posts$ as a kingdom fan, I thought you may find the information regarding our times issues and historical generals to be interesting.
That Ousen’s protection of citizens and funneling them into a major city, as a way to destroy them economically, foodstuffs, shelter & water wise, is so effective it’s still done today, by advanced nations.
personally, i'd put Ousen in top 5 just for the Gyou performance. That was so smart like there is no other feat in the series that comes close to that personally(maybe Kanki agains Kouchou but that wasn't as impressive to me)

@@liveviasatellite let me ask you this relating to Kingdom. Considering all that Shin did during the 6 kingdom Coalition arc. Do you think that being promoted was enough? Because to me looking into all he actually did, he should’ve been promoted straight to 5k commander or at the every least 4k commander. With that I think many issues I have seen people have with the Fei Shin Force commanders would’ve been fixed. Plus would’ve made a massive statement. But that’s just me.

Good video but i think Ouhen should be ahead of Shin in my opinion....Its seems they are on par on martial prowess if I'm being generous. Ouhen had higher stat for strength than shin, he was able to kill Gyoun'un and when he fought shin, he had no scratches compared to shin who sustained lil on his face. I'm not saying he will win against shin in a duel but i can't honestly say otherwise. He is obviously more intelligent and a better stratgist/commander. This is coming from a shin fan
Yes but I think Shin is slightly above them and the main reason I think so is these guys have had proper training all their lives and shin is already on par with them. His trajectory is ridiculous they've had such a head start and he grows exponentially. Even when they awakened their forces Ousen saw the Hi Shin unit as a sure bet and Ouhons unit as a maybe, so even Ousen is looking at Shin as better. Not tryna change your opinion though because honestly I can see your point about Ouhons intelligence. I just believe Shins instincts counter that even though Ouhon would still have a slight edge. But then Shin would have the slight edge in Martial prowess making them pretty equal. That's why I have them ranked fairly close

I think hakuki was not as strong as ouki, he was just very scary and being the leader of six great generals, made the other states afraid of the 6GG.
Picking wars that he will definitely win and takes no risk (similar to ousen)
When he wins the war, he just kills all the opposing soldiers (similar to kanki)
