Do you have any cassettes or 8 tracks? nice debut , nice Hotter than hell , nice Dressed to kill, very cool originals even if it's beaten up the record plays., not a fan of the artwork of resurected I like Destroyer a lot lot better, nice Destroyer, nice Alive , , nice Rock n roll all over, nice Love Gun my first album back in the day was Destroyer and then some of the older albums, nice Alive 2 , nice Double platinum nice solos Peter Chris , Ace Frehely, Gene Simmons , Paul Stanley , nice Dynasty, so your first tour of them was in 1979 mine was 2 years earlier I saw them in 1977, nice Unmasked , is there a difference between the first 3 albums on there own and the Originals that 3 record set which some people have shown in Tkr's contest? is there a difference in a guitar solo , intro something like any difference other than a 6 record set vs 3 indivudal albums? 2nd question on that debut what year do they have written down 1973 or 1974? 3 .so before you got back into Vinyl for you 2017 did you have Kiss on other formats? 4 so if your at work at the office over the summer say on your lunch break do you take any kiss albums to work say on your walkman after your done eating do you listen to your albums? 5. in all grades from Mint all the way down to poor all grades which is worth more the original album from that year up to 1989 or the represses from 2014 say for example in very good to good which is worth more Hotter than hell picked up in 1985 or Hotter than hell the 2014 repress? just using hotter than hell as an example would love to hear about all the conditions from the first 5 years it came out vs the 2014 Repress which is worth more would also love to hear a few different grades say for example Kiss Dressed to Kill in a grade 4 which is good which came out within 5 years vs Dressed to kill in Excellent to near Mint of the Repress which is a grade 7? which is worth more? 6. when you got these albums first time around do you remember where you got them except for the Christmas gifts? 7. do you remember who opened up for them in 1979 and do you remeber what venue you saw them at ?
I do not have an 8 tracks or cassettes of Kiss at present. Back in the day, I used to pick up lots of 8-tracks in the dollar bin because they were being phased out. But I haven't had any for years now. 1. The Originals are just the same three albums packaged in a special way back in the day. 2. My first album is one of the reissues from 2014. Is there a version out there that is labeled 1973, I thought it was only a 1974 release? 3. Before 2017, I had that Double Platinum on vinyl, and everything on CD, but no other formats at the time, I was all CDs prior to 2017. 4. When I was working in the office, I had access to listen to most anything on Spotify, but also had hundreds of non-Spotify type music on my computer in MP3 format. 5. So, when it comes to original pressings vs reissues, there are lots of thoughts on that. Each original pressing has various formats too. Some people know a lot more about all of the variants, and some of them are probably worth more than others due to pressing quantities and other factors. I am not one of those collectors that gets all bogged down in a lot of those details, so I do not know as much about their value. The better the grade, the more they would sell for for sure. 6. As a kid, the stores we bought from most were Montgomery Wards, Sears, K-Mart, and then by about 81 or 8 I worked at the mall, and there was a record chain there (Camelot Records) and a few other local stores in my area that I frequently bought from (Mother's Records and a place called Tracks come to mind). 7. When I saw them in 1979, New England opened for them. That was a band that had just released an album, and Paul Stanley had produced it, so they took them out on tour.

I got Kiss on cd in different years I have 8 of their cd''s. 4. I do use a walkman and bring my cd's to the office I listen to kiss plus other bands today it rained and my walk got canceled it was suppose to have been Queen a night at the opera.. 6. we got our records Kiss they were in the J section got them at Caldors now that store is walmart 7. when we saw them in 1977 I don't remember who opened but we saw them at the Garden( Madison Square Garden)
Wow Jeff your Kiss collection is killer I have quite a few Kiss albums as well but I am still missing some from the 80’s I would like to have ( Unmasked, Animalize, The Elder, Creatures of The Night, Killers, Lick it up Asylum, Hot In The ShadeI also need the solo albums of Paul’s and Gene’s.. My Discogs is KCfan68 what is yours if you don’t mind letting me know.., You should do a video of the records you want to sell🤔 who knows you might get some offers? My discogs is real original - it is jeff.mccormack :) A couple days ago I listed probably close to a hundred albums for sale. Kind of a small purge. So far, sold two of them. One for $150, which was nice :)
