I’m 43 used to be a huge Kiss fan and collected everything I could get my hands on up until about 17 yrs old . My taste changed and sold it all. Now married with kids and going through a mid life crisis I guess lol . I think I’m going to get all my records back and cassette . I used to have so many bootlegs. Love your channel man. Kiss is too much fun to leave alone
I can’t afford to go TOO crazy with KISS vinyl, but if I could just gather all of the original albums with the blue Casablanca label, I’d be happy. First pressings would be a bonus.
The Japanese pressings are always the ones to go for. They always have extra tracks / different song arrangements and sometimes are pressed in better quality too!
The band never wanted to record "Kissing Time", and I wish it would be removed. When I was 9, I heard the first Kiss album, and it wasn't on it. Neither was it on "The Originals". Wish I still had them, but being I was so young, I didn't take care of my albums.
Yes, the Canadian version did include a one piece sticker but it was just the inner four members heads and hair. Not the entire album with the jagged circle and everything else. I still have mine. Unfortunately My 6 year old brain needed to stick it on my bedroom door. Yes.....I still have the door.
i think i read somewhere that david edward byrd designed the casablanca desert logo for the record label. he also famously did the kiss posters inside the solo albums in about 3 days. but he is even more famous for making iconic concert posters for countless rock acts in the 60s & 70s
I've got several versions of the first album. White label promo, blue label with & without KT, and a couple of import versions. I kept all the vinyl (LPs & 45s) & CDs when I sold about 98% of my KISS collection in 2018. Pretty much everything from KISS to Monster, and several bootlegs. Not a 100% totally complete collection, because I know there's imports etc that I don't have. What I'd like to know about is that Les Paul in the background...can't see the headstock, is it a Gibson or something else?
Good morning. I have KISS albums from when I was much younger. Still love KISS . I have a question. The albums I have on the label is the album cover I think it's Destroyer, Love gun,and a few others. Can you tell me what prints or if they were first pressing. I'd really appreciate it.
That Rock n Roll Over was pressed in Mexico, as a part of a Music Encyclopedia of Rock Salvat. All the Records from other bands that were printed under the same collection, had live pictures
The Second One: Rock And Roll Over (with Eric Carr on the cover) is not from Brazil. It´s written in spanish, so maybe from Argentina, or anywhere else on South America, but not from Brazil (Portuguese language).
Also there are some Brazillian Versions (Hotter Than Hell, Dressed To Kill, Destroyer, Rock n Roll Over and Love Gun) that the logo is with the Ss inverted,as the did /do in Germany.
Hey Rob good to hear from you again buddy. I never knew about Kiss on the Riva label, I just googled it and found it. First time I've ever seen it after nearly 37 years of being a Kiss fan, lol!!!
I have a kiss Destroyer Japanese album I also have a a box set of kiss solo albums that are live recordings with songs like whole lot of love by led zepplin. How rare are those.
I was wondering if you can answer a question for me I have been looking for a first press of the first kiss album trying to find one in great shape is impossible Last week I went into a record store There in the record bin was the first kiss record and on the outside they advertised it as being a second press with the added kissing time song it was in such good shape I picked it up and took it home and thought I would wait to find a first press later but when I played it kissing time was not on it but it was on the label the best I can tell this is a first press with a second press label is this something that exist in a big quantity just curious
Hey buddy, let me tell you something, you have a very rare version there that is worth quite a bit of money!!! What they have done at the pressing plant is stamped the wrong label on the vinyl, they should have put the label without Kissin Time on the vinyl. So at a guess I would class that as a mispress. How much did you pay for it?
I paid $40 for it because they only looked at the label they assumed it was a second press I did see on Discogs one sold in 2018 for $88 I have no idea what it may be worth Maybe you know thanks for your reply have a good day
Doran Amatto no, ‘cut outs’ are left over product that record company tries to sell after in bargain bins. That’s why they cut the corner, reducing the value, so to speak.
I just about have every KISS album on vinyl and even some 45's the majority i found in Flea Markets some even still had the merchandise sheet and some even had the posters inside i have at least 3 or 4 copies of every album and i never paid more than 4 bucks for any of it...Facts!
Hey Wayne. It depends if its the UK or US version. There's not much in it really, the UK blue EMI label goes for about £25 and the US Casablanca about £30. This does depend on condition as well.
Hey Tom. Thanks for tuning into my channel. Yeah its a very cool strat I have to say, but I prefer my Ibanez super strat style guitars these days, each to their own I guess. Keep watching my channel as I have more Kiss bootlegs coming in. Take care buddy
I sold all my KISS stuff years ago, but I noticed a couple of things: First off, the Love Gun label is VERY different from the North American label, and the sticker on the first album is always on the outside of the cover - on the wrap. This one may have been removed and placed on the cover itself. Lastly, why are the albums not in protective cases. No one should handle the covers with the oil on their fingers. Original shrink wrap should be slit open and left on the album if it is loose (tight shrink wrap is bad for the cover over time) and then the album should be placed in a protective plastic cover. I had all of mine done that way. By the way, I bought a copy of Dynasty on the day it was released and got one with the desert label instead of the usual one with the photos of the guys on it. I got some decent bucks for my collection years ago
Hey buddy many thanks for your comments. All my albums are in plastic sleeves, it's just when I'm making my videos for youtube it is easier for them to be out of the sleeve. Thats an interesting fact about the sticker on the first album. I'm just happy to have the copy i got. Keep watching my friend as there will be more videos in the new year
Thanks! I definitely will. And I figured that you probably had your albums stored in some type of protective case at some point since you seem to be taking great care of them. Just didn't know that they were stored away in plastic :)
Hi there. I do have plastic sleeves for all my albums, but for video purposes I take them off to save time. It's nice to know someone else takes pride in looking after their album sleeves.
By definition, "mint condition" means "never having been touched by human hands." Your albums look to be in great condition. Mine were too. Too bad we didn't know each other back in "the day."

Thank you for sharing your collection very nice😊
Great video! Oh and by the way the Canadian pressing of Rock and Roll Over also had a one piece sticker included.
thanks for that buddy, always appreciate extra info

⚡THNX!⚡ I didnt know that
Cool collection and knowledgeable presentation!
Oh thank you so much for those kind words. I think I'm crap at presenting it, but if its making you happy then that is all that matters

Put some pants on! 😂
Great video 🤘🏿

That Double Platinum also has a very rare label printed by RIVA records of Scotland....becoming scarcer!
Hey Rob good to hear from you again buddy. I never knew about Kiss on the Riva label, I just googled it and found it. First time I've ever seen it after nearly 37 years of being a Kiss fan, lol!!!
Nice collection .. what sounds better Japanese pressings or the regular US pressings from the 70’s ??
I have the very first Kiss Record as you describe. It's for sale
No Kissing Time, no Rock N Roll All Night
Rock N Roll All Night was on their third album Dressed To Kill. Stay safe buddy
New Zealand pressings used the blue label for Love Gun as well.
That's cool!!
I have the mexican pressing of Kiss first album and "Nothing to lose" is not the studio version but the Alive! album version.
My copy doesn't have kissin time but the cover says it does
I have a kiss Destroyer Japanese album I also have a a box set of kiss solo albums that are live recordings with songs like whole lot of love by led zepplin. How rare are those.
That box set is quite rare these days. Off the top of my head I would say about £250
other than ebay where do you look for bootleg kiss albums?
Hey Brian, sorry for the late reply. Try Facebook. Happy hunting
Very nice video thank you!
Thank you for watching buddy, there will be more 👍

Nice collection
Thank you
I've got the silver one with faces imbedded in it but the bottom left corner is cut off
Doesnt that mean it was either a record store promo or a radio station promo?
Doran Amatto no, ‘cut outs’ are left over product that record company tries to sell after in bargain bins. That’s why they cut the corner, reducing the value, so to speak.
Ive got a 1st issue without Kissin Time
I just about have every KISS album on vinyl and even some 45's the majority i found in Flea Markets some even still had the merchandise sheet and some even had the posters inside i have at least 3 or 4 copies of every album and i never paid more than 4 bucks for any of it...Facts!
I got a blue label destroyer lp that my older sister gave me,its in my collection. wonder what the value is?
Hey Wayne. It depends if its the UK or US version. There's not much in it really, the UK blue EMI label goes for about £25 and the US Casablanca about £30. This does depend on condition as well.
Esa Edición es la 30 años de música rock Salvat, es Mexicana y por cierto es muy buscada
⚡THNX!⚡
I like your strat the most.
Hey Tom. Thanks for tuning into my channel. Yeah its a very cool strat I have to say, but I prefer my Ibanez super strat style guitars these days, each to their own I guess. Keep watching my channel as I have more Kiss bootlegs coming in. Take care buddy

1:42 My was printed in 1974 in West Germany
Cool stuff my friend.
EASY TO FIND, I HAVE 3 COPIES OF KISS WITHOUT KISSIN’ TIME INCLUDING A WHITE LABEL PROMO...
I would love to have one buddy if it's for sale.....which I doubt
I bet you don't have the Mexican yellow 12" vinyl - Dirty Livin
I don't Meredith. But more importantly do you look as hot as your profile picture?
Meredith Wilson
Are you single?!
You are a lucky man !
totally agree!
love gun the sexiest album cover ever

Is there a reason you don't store your albums in plastic sleeves?

By definition, "mint condition" means "never having been touched by human hands." Your albums look to be in great condition. Mine were too. Too bad we didn't know each other back in "the day."
I have the first Kiss record in mexican version and for a strange reason it has "Nothing to lose" track from the Alive! album. I don't know why.
Hi Charly. That's not unusual as the UK and European versions also had Nothing To Lose from Alive.
I have no idea why, just one of those decisions record companies make for no reason
monkey mid Ok, thank you very much, you. have a great Kiss collection.
Puerto Rico and Mexico are not in South America.
I have the Casablanca CD.
Stopped watching after he placed Mexico and El Salvador in South America
Hey Zarra, many people think Japan and my home town Hong Kong are the same......I don't loose any sleep over it :-)
I was thinking the same thing...DERP.
