GT3 Is Insane And Why The New Radar Should Be On By Default Forza Motorsport?

- As a Noob to sim racing, I thought I'd share my Forza Touring Car experiences, my wins, my loses and my wtf moments. I try to explain my thought process and hopefully provide you with a learning guide or useful tips.
My strategy is simple, stay alive at all cost. We all know Forza Motorsport can be a little chaotic at times. I hope with a more passive tactic, I can swoop in and take the position. While also improving my own skills as a sim racing driver.
Track learning is key, hopefully by reviewing my race choices and my mistakes, I can help others learn and improve upon their lap times. Thus making the racing world more fun and competitive.
I am using a G920 Logitech wheel, and playing Forza Motorsport on PC using Xbox Game pass.
I do hope you all enjoy the content, Racing and Sim racing is great fun and helps you escape the harsh reality of the life.

GT3 seems to have brought out the crazies 😂 I was having way more fun and clean racing in GT2
It wasn’t just me thinking this. Gt2 was awesome and then this came out and it was like racing people with adhd with a bag of skittles lol. It did soften down further into the race. Loads left the race though.
The radar system is not going to make things better every one wants to win the race on the 1st lap and is not worth it continuing the race after you get putted off the road
@carlosburgos59 true. I mean sometimes it works in your favour lol. But since the radar has been out there has been substantial improvement. Or it was just timing I don’t know. I don’t mind it really because these longer races do help you gain time back and move up the grid if there are any incidents. It’s the short races that I do not get on with so much lol.
GT3 and touring cars has been a shit show for driving standards. Best racing I’ve had lately has been the rival series and the new rally one. 22B 🥰
@MD710uk yeah it’s not exactly been the best. I mean gt2 was fine. It’s odd lol must be time of the month where it’s a full moon lol
now they just need to add ranked and we are all good

The lambo for me was such a handful to drive it felt like wrestling a gorilla on heat man lol. It will more than likely be a tune issue on my side but others have said it can be a handful lol.

4:14 watch the rear view mirror, just see the Ferrari take out a car at the right hander before the final corner just after your overtake
Oh yeah well spotted. That person got wrecked. Ouch. Like that’s one of the worst spots on the track for trying get back onto the tarmac. Offff
As a spectator, having the rear view mirror is brilliant, the amount of shenanigans you see across your videos, also liking the transitions from recorded race footage and the replay footage
@DanielHP1993 yeah true. I plan on doing the races and then reviewing the replay then showing all the carnage. So at the end of the video having carnage cam. What do you think???

Im new to forza motorsport but so far I'm really enjoying it... setting good lap times, placing podium at times, figuring out the tuning.. but something I don't understand is why there is always atleast 1 person who is just slaying lap times.. is it the tune? I've had some pretty flawless laps but someone is always significantly faster in the same vehicle. Any suggestions or input?
That's great to hear buddy, so the biggest issue really is matchmaking. Some drivers are what we call "aliens" these are a breed of people who are just insane. Some of it is down to the tune, most of it is down to the driver. There are tunes out there that are labelled "meta" but that does not man it works for you. So its always best to use a baseline and then adjust it to suit you. A lot of the time, if you qualify P1 or 2, and escape the first corner bundle, then you get a good leap away from everyone else and can keep pushing thus making it look like an insane gap but in reality your being slowed down.
Its also better (IMO) to choose a car and stick with it, learn the car, tune the car and keep going round in circles till you get it spot on lol. Then those corners where you may have lost a 10th or 2 by taking it at the wrong angle, or just not fully optimised with the car can actually find you a good few 10ths and those do add up.

Not that. Just having the time buddy. I did around 8/9 races over 3 months and after my 3 months expired I just didn’t renew. 8/9 races a month is just not worth the investment. It was good don’t get me wrong but yeah that was my stint in iracing lmfao.
@@FlashmsSame for me I also tried iRacing and enjoyed the driving there, but at the end I came back to FM mostly because of the graphics lol
Yeah the interior of the cars look fine. But the tracks do not look the best lol.

This game is a major downgrade from even Forza 5. The graphics and the overall game is just horrible.
Even from me, being largely a GT fan more than Forza...
I just don't think this game is quite THAT BAD. It's physics are certainly fun and it makes for a pretty exciting game to play, imo.
I had never played forza 5 so I cannot comment whether I agree or not bud.
The physics are great. Just lacking a ton of content and instead of delivering they are drip feeding and that’s where the frustration lies. Even worse it’s not even new content. It’s old stuff that really should have been default in game. But it’s a lesson learnt to turn 10. They know and are fixing things slowly lol
Its not that bad. The driving physics are good and racing can be fun. Online races have improved, i stopped playing not long after launch but racing seems better. The AI has improved on single player. Forza 4 is still the best forza though.
Exactly. I think I may still have forza 4 collecting some serious dust in the loft lol.
