BTS is a South Korean 7 members boygroup, they are basically the biggest boyband in the world. I think you should react to BTS crash course 2020 to a worldwide sensation to know who those guys are. They are amazing. Their fanbase are hella diverse, and the fact that their numbers, sales and streams outsold a lot of huge mainstream american stars, without even having songs in ENGLISH is a big proof of their impact. They are biggest non-english speaking music artist in the world, biggest asian act in history, 2nd best selling artist in the world, they achieved all of this while they are from a small country, a small and poor company that was near bankruptcy, in a toxic industry (kpop), where their is hundreds of K-pop groups debuting each year, so A LOOOOT more competition, where only groups from big agencies are privelileged and can win awards...ect I think that's the reason why their fans are so passionate, they have been through a lot of injustice in their home country, and were very disatvantaged. Imagine debuting with recording your songs in a garage to bringing more than 4 BILLIONS TO YOU COUNTRIES ECONOMY, and basically being rivals to huge International firms and organizations like Samsung of Hyundai, bringing more money than the Olympic, being the first group since the Beatles to earn 3 numbers one albums in a year, selling out huge stadiums in minutes everywhere, holding the records of the most viewed music videos in 24h of UA-cam's history, speaking at the UN, having a nation title from your president...ect

Welcome to the BTS rabbit hole:). BTS is a band from South Korea. They always sing and rap in Korean and English. There are 7 members. 3 very good rappers (RM, Suga, JHope) and 4 vocalists (Jin, Jimin, V, Jungkook). You stan JHope at first sight btw lol. The one hitting the high note at the bridge is Jungkook. They all dance really well and are involved with writing and producing the album tracks. RM is the “Leader”, but Each member stands out individually with different styles and have their own solo projects and mixtapes too which they gift to fans for free on SoundCloud. Check out “Fake Love”, “Mic Drop” MV’s next! if you wanna see this full choreography they released a dance performance music video like a week ago, a whole marching band is included in it lol its amazing. It's called BTS - ON Kinetic Manifesto Film: Come Prima. A few of the members of BTS are professional dancers (they've been dancing for a long time, way before joining BTS, and some of them only started after joining the group) but all of them are amazing.

Bts Is south Korean group, this days people prefer don't mix them with kpop **
1. They are 7, 4 vocalist, 3 rappers (2 underground rappers) all dancers
2. Bts compose and produce their own music, so is very personal, they talk about mental health, politics, society, their fans, self love, etc
3. They have a story behind their videos so is difficult to new people understand, we (the armys) have to read a several books and study set, philosophy, psychology and mythology to understand. Their last album for example was "map of the soul:persona" and is inspired by the psychologist book the map of the soul by Jung.
4. The army love them because they are good people who through a lot of bad things to be where they are now, and even being famous they stay humble.
5. They have a lot of genres and you can find subtitles in every possible language.
**Bts always present themselves as a Korean group, and always said they don't want to be labeled in a genre or industry. The fans also do not want to be mixed with kpopers, (most of us aren't kpop fans) we don't have the same ideals

the only thing i gotta say, is that since bts are kpop(they shouldn’t be stabled as kpop, but the kpop industry is where they originated from), most of the fans are also kpop fans. as in, a *big* amount of armys aren’t general kpop fans, but still a bigger portion of them are.

Not only credits the members also help with melodies or name songs, or story behind the songs, so they are always involved in their music. Only stupid people without bases can talk bad about that the songs of bts are not theirs.

Suga was born in Daegu, starting off as very poor, when he found some music equipment, he used them to start producing music, as he start gathering money, he bought more equipment for him to start him to music producing. When he produces for other people, he would at times gets ripped off and didn't get paid, which led to arguments with his parents and didn't believe in him at the path of music he chose to go for. At his teen years, he had to choose between a $2 bowl of black bean noodles or a bus ride to home. He delt with Depression and Social Anxiety (at least the minimum). He wrote songs to express his experience with Depression and Social Anxiety and tries helping others by his music saying to not give up and pull through it ("The Last" in his own album called Agust D expresses his own experience with his own issues). He once tried auditioning for BigHit to become a music producer, instead he got debuted as a idol rapper and producer because of the manager. He once momentarily left BigHit but came back. He gets very small amount of sleep or even none, because of his passion to produce music. That is why he seems very sleepy on camera. He is known as the savage one, cold, blunt and seems to not care about his members, but he actually do, he is just a soft little kitten that cares about his members dearly.

I know it's a lot to digest, but the BTS discography is really extensive. These boys write their own songs and the special thing about their entire discography is that it reads like a Harry Potter or other epic fiction novel series, with overarching story lines connecting one song in the past to two others in the future. Their lyrics are none of the bubble-gum, popcorny junk you'd associate with pop music. They take inspiration from real literature, fiction novels, folklore and written philosophies that will blow the mind. I've said a lot here, , but you'll soon discover more as you dive deeper into this rabbit hole. Just a fair warning; the warren runs very deep and winding so you need to remember to come up for air once in a while. Good luck!

The wonderful thing about BTS and a lot of kpop, is every member tends to have their own personality and time to shine. It’s difficult to not love all of them.
V is the Vocalist and in the dance line, he was also born in Daegu like Suga, he was raised by his grandmother most of the time rather then his parents. He wanted to be a farmer and played the saxophone for 3 years. When there was a auditioning for BigHit, he accompanied his friend and when he was spotted by a staff, he was asked if he wants to audition, he wasn't sure and the staff member asked V for his parents number and asked if he can audition, his parents approved and made it as a trainee. After a while when they debuted, his grandmother that raised him for years passed away and did not get a chance to see him on TV, which V promised her, and left both ARMY and V sad, she will forever be in ARMY and BTS's hearts. V is known as the weird and funny one, and a alien because of making alien sounds.

This is a 7 member group that goes all the way back to 2013. Suga and RM were underground rappers and heavily criticized for joining BTS. Jhope was a street dancer. Jungkook joined at a very young age, training around the age of 14. V was spotted when there for a friend he was accompanying for the auditioning in his hometown and was the only one that made it. Jin was spotted when he was going to college. Jimin was asked by his teacher to try out and made it.

BTS is the biggest group in the world they are from south korea and has been producing music since 2013 the style of the music is called Kpop which is is basically Korean pop and there are so many groups in korea including girl and boy and some solo artist some girl groups I would recommend is(blackpink, twice, red velvet)and some boy groups I would recommend is (bigbang, monsta x, EXo and of cource BTS)bts consist of 7 member 4vocalists which are(Jimin, jin, v, jungkook) and 3 rappers(suga, RM, JHope) the guy you said you liked was Jhope and the guy who hit the high note is called Jungkook, he is the main vocalist and is the youngest at the age of 22, Jin is the oldest at the age of 27 and Jungkook joined bts at the age of 14 and started training in 2010 to make the next big boy band, Now they make abou 600 million views in there videos and has the world record for biggest debute in 24 hours with there song( IDOL, boy with luv) bts first song was called (no more dream)and is really different to what they do now, in there videos there is a lot of dancing and a lot of call visules in them alspo some bts songs I would recommend is (Mic drop, DNA, Fake love, Fire, Dope, IDOL, Boy with luv, danger, black swan, Not Today, and lots more I would also react to get to know BTS I have seen many youtubers react to bts for the first time and they watch the video and it really did help them get to know not just the singing and dancing but there back story and life behind the scenes, they are also really funny so yeah also bts has a large fan base you should check out the audience and that basically gave you a small idea but to know more see that video I was just talking about earlier.
