lmao your comment about Jimin and Taehyung having beef killed me cause in reality they are absolute best friends! On their most recent album, the two have a song together called "friends" where they sing about how they're bffs and the lyrics even say "you are my soulmate" lol !! It's all good man, that made me laugh.
Also, them singing in english could definitely be trippy, but then again, the rest of the world sings songs in english when it isn't their first language. In the US, we're just privledged that we speak english and have the biggest music market in the world. As a BTS fan, I memorize their lyrics and sing them in korean, and of course I know what they're singing because I look up translations. Bts do the same!

Bts Is south Korean group, this days people prefer don't mix them with kpop **
1. They are 7, 4 vocalist, 3 rappers (2 underground rappers) all dancers
2. Bts compose and produce their own music, so is very personal, they talk about mental health, politics, society, their fans, self love, etc
3. They have a story behind their videos so is difficult to new people understand, we (the armys) have to read a several books and study set, philosophy, psychology and mythology to understand. Their last album for example was "map of the soul:persona" and is inspired by the psychologist book the map of the soul by Jung.
4. The army love them because they are good people who through a lot of bad things to be where they are now, and even being famous they stay humble.
5. They have a lot of genres and you can find subtitles in every possible language.
*Bts always present themselves as a Korean group, and always said they don't want to be labeled in a genre or industry. The fans also do not want to be mixed with kpopers, (most of us aren't kpop fans) we don't have the same ideals

Actually Jimin and V are the closest duo in the group, they were even close best friends since high school + they have a duo song called Friends which is about them being soulmates. They argue the most because they are the closest basically, but like brotherly arguments, about food and they love teasing each other.
As a non native English speaker I can tell you that singing in English is waaay easier than speaking English. They aren't fluent but they know some English and it makes their singing perfect. Some members have covered a lot of American/English songs and their English sounds flawless.
I would not say they are the "closest" as BTS members seem to be equally close, but with different dynamics and ways.
But yes, Jimin and V are best friends and soulmates:)
Ku Nilsen Yee they may be equally close, but like Tae and Jimin just have such deep relationship in general. I mean they literally massage each other’s butts and literally argue the most which is actually very healthy for best friends and they have so much history together. The only one I’d say could ALMOST compete with their closeness is Jungkook.
I mean, I can’t speak Japan and Korean but I can sing some songs in those languages 😂
I cant say that their english really sounds flawless cause especially when i listen to their new songs, i would only know that some lines were in english if i read the lyrics just like on mic drop steve aoki remix, i never knew that the chorus was in English the entire time. 😅 but if they cover songs like what jk usually does, i can easily understand him
@@iyanabanks1834 I personally think they are all very very close to each other, they all love each other to death and are practically brothers and a family. I have never seen a group where all 7 members in them have a bond like that. In a lot of K-pop groups or even western groups, members don't get along very well, that's what Jessi said (she is a Korean rapper), she said that when she met BTS, she noticed how close they are to each other and how even off camera they are still the same people we know.

The ONLY time army “attacks” people on social media is when they disrespect BTS. What I mean by this is when people make negative comments about them looking like girls, having no talent, not deserving the awards they win.. etc. Army’s can care less if one person is not a fan or dislikes BTS cause Kpop isn’t for everybody, but if one makes negative comments without knowing them or fakes a reaction of them “liking” BTS to just get views.. that’s when army’s get “mad”. In the fandom most of us have a Bias, but that DOES NOT mean we prefer that person over the rest. Army’s like all 7.
Still not an excuse to attack the idiots. All it does it bring those comments attention.
If they just reported then blocked, they could get hate comments removed and accounts removed instead of making the fandom look toxic and giving haters the attention they want.

True tho. In my personal opinion I believe ARMYs shouldn't fight fire with fire. Instead of attacking first and dealing with the consequences later, I think we should instead fight the fire with water. If any of that makes sense that is.
I'm not going to use "attack", it's more like calling disrespectful people out. Sometimes we can't just report and block everything. ARMYs have always pointed out racism and xenophobia not just towards BTS but to other poc artists as well because we know how this industry works. I'm glad that there are ARMYs who don't tolerate those things, educates people and and are not afraid to call others out for being disrespectful.

V and Jimin are best friends actually. They’ve been that way since high school and refer to each other as soulmates. Most of BTS’ arguments are about food like the dumpling incident and banana incident, but they’ve figured out a good method at resolving arguments. They’ve been together for seven years and maybe more than that through their trainee years.
Also for the “best” member, it’s practically impossible to decide because they all have something they bring to the table. Some may have a different rap or vocal style, different roles, different energy/vibe, different music style, etc. Everyone gets to shine and show off what makes them great. All 7 of them could be greatly successful soloists.
Just because there’s no “best” member doesn’t mean that there are no popular members though. The most popular members in BTS are the maknae line (the three youngest members), but that doesn’t mean the oldest are neglected because they receive lots of support from fans for their solo projects.
Well we don’t know all their arguments so we shouldn’t say most of them are about food, When in fact the only ones we know about are silly ones about food. They argue a lot like a normal family but like a normally family everyone loves each other and makes up quickly but we do not know what they argue about
Kim Yoongi The reason why we think it’s always food arguments is not because we’ve only seen it. In the Burn The Stage, Namjoon talks about them fighting over food all the time and when Tae and Jin argues, he said he’s glad it wasn’t over food. Everyone knows they’ve fought about other topics but it’s pretty clear they’ve mostly fought about food.

It's so western-centric to ask "how can they sing/listen to English stuff when they don't speak it"? Beyonce & all other big artists tour the world & other continents where they do NOT spk English & no-one thinks that's weird. The world doesn't revolve around the English language, there are wonderful artists, music & film that the US or the West will never get to know cos they're so close-minded to art in other languages with a huge fear of subtitles. Asia is the biggest continent in the world & there are plenty of huge stars there who don't even need the US cos they make so much money there alone. Y'all just don't know about them.
This is why I don’t take the excuse of “I don’t speak Korean why would I listen to this music” people all over the world who speak other languages listen to music in English and learn the lyrics even though they have to look them up.

BTS are literally a family, they've been living together since 2012 until now, they respect and love each other.

Most opera singers don't actually speak Italian, German, or French, but they sing it with perfect pronunciation and accuracy. Singers have really developed ears and can hear and memorize sound inflections expertly. Just an example of why these guys can sing in English. They can also sing in Japanese (most of them speak it) and some Mandarin, but that's another story.
RM sounds American because he learned English from US TV and grew up on US rap. He also sounded British when speaking to James because he likes to match accents with the person he's speaking to. He does interviews in England with a British accent.
The guys who fight the most are actually best friends. I can only assume they weren't happy that Suga called them out for bickering XD.

The TV show Office wasn't around when he learned English. He started with Korean subtitles then English subtitles to no subtitles. His IQ is 148 which is considered as a genius and in the top 0.1% of the population in the world. He also scored 900 on the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) while he was in middle school. Jimin and V are best friends. They have moments in life like all friends/brothers do, but they truly do have a love and affection for each other. There are videos of them taking care of each other. There are moments when they are on stage or other events I can't handle them, they want me to die. Jimin is 2 months older than V.

There isn't a best. They all have huge parts in the group and solo songs. They do a good job of making sure each member gets the spotlight. Armys tend to have a bias but it just depends on the person.
Bts doesn’t have a “Best” member, they are all 7 highly talented men..it’s not like how in American bands you can pick the one that stands out, they all bring something different to the team and without one of the members it wouldn’t be BTS, some people have a “bias” which means someone in the group they can relate to the most or the one that caught their eye when they first got into the group like my bias is Jungkook, the youngest member (the one sitting right behind James corden) but they all stand out!💜💜💜 Also we don’t come after people randomly lol, we are protective of our boys tho, there are some people who hate on them without giving them a chance tho and that’s what pisses most of us off but thanks for reacting to them, you should definitely react to more of their stuff like I would suggest Mic drop, (which was the first song that was played) or fake love..and if you want to know more about their background and them individually I’d suggest the video Who is the 7 members of BTS and also From nobodies to legends you won’t be disappointed once you get to know them!

singing a song is just remembering the sounds someone makes, no matter the language. it’s just a matter of understanding it. armys and other kpop fans memorize the lyrics to songs in korean and they memorize lyrics in english because they listen to it a lot
BTS knows the same songs as you do and the rest of the world who listen to music in English and not just music from their home country. I can almost bet they know more wide range of songs/music than we do (they don’t just listen to popular stuff but independent stuff too). The rappers of the group are legit rappers, some of which grew up on/influenced by Nas, 2Pac, Eminem, etc. BTS back in the day was mentored by Warren G, Coolio, etc. in L.A., so they know their stuff and work on their craft. The group knows mainly Korea, but they’ve been around english speakers and interviews enough to understand a bit and speak (in varying degrees depending on the member). RM (in the front) is the only one who speaks fluently as he pretty much taught himself utilizing the complete seasons of Friends his mom got him when he was in middle school I think. He has a high IQ and excels in language and foreign language among other subjects, so I believe that is why he is able to be fluent so fast and well. So three rappers, and the four vocalists - that makes it seven members. They are all individual talents/artists in their own right They write, compose, and produce their stuff. They lived and worked hard together for years which brought them to where they are today.

Here is why we like BTS so much:
They were teens and Jungkook was 15 when he debuted, their debut helped them raising their popularity but it still wasn't a too much of hit, few people knew them then. They struggled, they couldn't buy presents for their parents, they had to continuously work to make success. Now, they have finally reached, they have gone in MAMAs, got Grammy's nominated and appeared in grammys. They are very kind, humble and generous. Each of them fills a part of the group, which is why they are never BTS without every each one of them, each of them has a unique personality. Their lasts are heartbreaking but inspirational. They had launched a 'Love Yourself' Campaign, so people could love themselves for who they were. BTS taught their fans a.k.a a Army to how to smile, how to be themselves, how to be loved and give love and many more. We love them for who they are and they love their Armys. 'I purple you' is a phrase meaning that we love and trust you, it was made by Kim Taehyung a.k.a V.

JK joined when he was 13-14 internationally, which was when he was 15 as his Korean age. BTS debuted when he was 15 internationally though. (Just adding this because you switched using Korean and then international ages). 😅💜

They are 4 vocals(jin, V, jimin and jungkook) and 3 rappers(RM, suga and j-hope)
If you want to know about them listen to their recently album "map of the soul: 7" and look out their performance and live stage too. They are all funny guys, and RM (the leader) is the only fluent in english, but the others six members can speak english too and knows too much english. In their songs they speak both, english and korean, more korean than english. And yeah, I think all peaple in the world can sing an english song, so its common to heard and know songs in english even if you don't know to speak it (I'm terrible speacking and writting it, but I know grammar and can understand your video perfectly ^-^) they also Like a lot of artists and song in english.
The fandom its called ARMY, and for your questions I LOVE THEM ALL, and I think is the same for all the ARMY's around the world.

There's no best, they all have there specialty areas and based on personality traits you will eventually have a bias. But no member is simply the best.Together they are the best.
They're kind of like their fans. Many of their fans/ Army's that love their music, will sing along, despite not knowing Korean. That's the beauty of not limiting yourself to one kind of music, just because you don't know the artists language. They have the most diverse and international fan base. In America we tend to limit ourselves to the idea that if an artist doesn't sing in English, then there's no point in listening to them...good music will get you, doesn't matter what language you speak or don't. That's why people love BTS. Their music is really good. Plus they make us all happy.

The one that speaks English is known as RM, his name is Kim Namjoon. Then the one right behind him (Mochi) is Jimin, next to him is J-Hope (Hoseok) and then next to him is Jungkook. The one behind Jimin is Jin and next to him SUGA (Yoongi) and finally V (Taehyung). RM, SUGA and J-Hope are the rappers and the other four are the vocals.

There is no best in BTS. They are a team and we are here to support them.Most people have a favourite member but that doesn’t mean they are the best it means we relate more towards that member. Some rap better, some sing better, same dance better but all have a very high level of their talents including writing and producing a lot of their music. If you go back and listen to their singing in the car you’ll hear most of it was in English.

BTS songs are mostly composed and written by themselves with some help from their own company’s in-house producers (Supreme Boi, Pdogg, ‘Hitman Bang’-CEO of the company and a few more others). No one is the best their all good at everything

1. There is no BEST out of BTS, they all have their own unique talents and they’re all amazing
2. BTS (Except for RM) isn’t FLUENT in English but they can understand it partially and they can speak it pretty well when they try to.
3. 7 is a standard number for Kpop groups, there are groups with 9 and 13+ members bc it’s good for choreography
4. Each member of BTS has a role of Dancer, Vocal, or rapper but many of them do multiple
5. The BTS army fanbase is not a scary, aggressive fanbase, it’s just like any other big fanbase, we just refuse to put up with disrespect, but we always get stereotyped as the “crazy” fans when the majority of us just want to love BTS in peace

Love how cool and nonchalant V seems in the back, so much so that it would be easy to assume he and Jimin don't get along when you hear they argue the most, but those two are legit soulmates. The closer you get to someone the more you'd argue, but at the same time, it's those arguments that make you best friends. I love those two, they're friendship goals
