2002 - 2007 Mazda 6 Oil Change, 3.0 Liter V6

This is a very simple video on how to change the oil and filter on a 2002 - 2007 Mazda 6 with the 3.0 liter V6. The video isn't the best quality as I was trying to film and change the oil at the same time. But it gives you the basic knowledge to complete this task by yourself.

wow I have an exhaust pipe going right under the oil filter. You're lucky mine is always a pain in the ass. Not only is it hard to get a grip but I have to force it between the frame and pipe every time.

Isn’t there about 30% of the oil still left in the block? So truly you won’t get your full 6 qts ever.

Mine takes 6 quarts every time to get it to the top of the full line. I have a diesel truck with a high pressure oil pump that doesn't allow all the oil to come out.
