Personally, I think Black Ops 3 does it better. This is more unsettling because of the uncanny valley style effects that can be produced by older video games.

Actually, in the arcade, you can only throw the grenade when he was covering his mouth. If he doesn't cover them the grenade won't do anything. They changed it for the PS3 so that you could throw the grenade every single time and it would cheese him.

@Kevin Vo pc with mouse and keyboard, that ability now allows you to use aimtrak/wiimote style guns, but these feel like garbage in practice sinden lightgun may revitalize light guns as its lower lag compared to wiimote style, and 0 calibration. sinden apparently made a tech deal with arcade one up and another thing to bring light gun games to their lineups. the answer for lightgun games has always been and always will be just put it on pc and we will find a way.

I have always theorized that these type of zombies are not really just some zombies where if you get bit you wont instantly turn you need to actually be dead in order to be converted. That or maybe the character we all knew are just lucky immune fucks.
Oda states they are creatures that are copied/cloned to make them different from reanimated zombies, though there's also strange exceptions like the bad ending in HOTD1 and Rogans men + Yukio in HOTD3
At least we have emulators that properly run this game: the original 2005 arcade release, emulated via Teknoparrot, and the PS3 port in 2012, emulated via RPCS3.
They make the bloodiest zombies in the House Of The Dead franchise. Zombies don't bleed or get dismembered when you shoot 'em, they get "realistically" burned instead. Oh, and they did the same thing with the new game Scarlet Dawn. Great job Sega, excellent 😒😒😒

Because all the models got a lot more complicate than the first 3 games. It would be quite time consuming to make all the dismembered head, arms, feet, torso and hole in the chest for every type of zombie so they cut the corner. That and too many zombies on screen getting their limbs blown off would make the cpu lag trying to render all the gore flying around.

I just finished playing House of the Dead 1 and 2 (back to back actual arcade versions) and I am so disappointing the violence has been toned down so much. no arm or legs getting blown off, no gruesome bullet wounds, no heads exploding when you shoot them........

I'm planning to make a House of the Dead cab with some extra parts and Big Buck parts I got on ebay and a 19" monitor with a wood frame to fit a 3/4 width. I might use a Wii inside and red and blue Wii guns I got on ebay and I also have a loaded PC from Retro Lizard with gun games configured with Sindens which I haven't used yet, they are still in their boxes. So, HOTD4 was only released on PS3 on the online store? I heard it's still available to buy. I saw a HOTD4 arcade game with orange uzi guns lying flat on each side at a game room in a farmer's market in Quakertown, PA last July 2022 around July 4th weekend. I didn't play it. The Wii game has 2 and 3. The Retro Lizard PC has 1, 2 and 3 arcade games (roms) I believe. I have Saturn guns but they only work on a CRT. I gave away my CRT's but I got a small flat screen one on ebay a few years ago for a potential mod. But Wii guns and Sindens work on non-CRT screens.

The City in THOTD4 seems to be more inspired in London than the Venice of THOTD2. The sewers (that Venice hasn't), the vehicles.

just a tip if you see those zombies with the flame thrower i suggest shooting there propane tanks that they are holding to kill them instantly and you could probably destroy a group of zombies too
As useful as that is, mostly people don’t do it for the perfects they try to get, since shooting the tanks doesn’t count towards that.

I just finished playing House of the Dead 1 and 2 (back to back actual arcade versions) and I am so disappointing the violence has been toned down so much. no arm or legs getting blown off, no gruesome bullet wounds, no heads exploding when you shoot them........

Born in the 80's? Then video games were always a part of your life. Boomers born in the 40's, 50's didn't have video games in their childhoods. Gen X born in the 70's were the first generation to have video games in their childhoods. I'm a gen X, born Jan 1974. I played arcade games in the 80's and 90's and 2000's and most home game systems that were released and my late parents played Atari 2600 with my younger brother and I in the early 80's such as Pac-Man. I now have arcade cabinet replicas in different sizes. I have a few Arcade1ups like The Simpsons and T2 and a few others. I'm planning to make a House of the Dead cab with some extra parts and Big Buck parts I got on ebay and a 19" monitor with a wood frame to fit a 3/4 width. I might use a Wii inside and red and blue Wii guns I got on ebay and I also have a loaded PC from Retro Lizard with gun games configured with Sindens which I haven't used yet, they are still in their boxes. So, HOTD4 was only released on PS3 on the online store? I heard it's still available to buy. I saw a HOTD4 arcade game with orange uzi guns lying flat on each side at a game room in a farmer's market in Quakertown, PA last July 2022 around July 4th weekend. I didn't play it. The Wii game has 2 and 3. The Retro Lizard PC has 1, 2 and 3 arcade games (roms) I believe. I have Saturn guns but they only work on a CRT. I gave away my CRT's but I got a small flat screen one on ebay a few years ago for a potential mod. But Wii guns and Sindens work on non-CRT screens.
