- We got out hands on the new S1000XR in its full-spec version: carbon parts with the M logo, light wheels and everything you might want. The base price: €16.700. This version - €29,915. Just the unboxing now, but we'll ride it soon.

Looks much better with the Carbon side panels instead of the hideous normal panels with the 'in your face' XR badging!
yea I was looking for alternatives to those terrible grey panels that does not match the red, but paying for a carbon M package to get something else *sigh*

Hi! good video & good bike we hope the test soon. I only have a couple of doubts about the bike, the first is if the Dynamic ESA suspension can be adjusted separately for the rebound and compression as in the RR version? and the second is if the carbon pack was fitted because it does not have the front fender in carbon? as it puts in the description of the web. Thanks!!

Waiting on my 2021 after some cooling systems problems on my 2018 made the update a must. (White/Blue/Red) Dealer suggested not to get the forged wheels.
and I passed on the carbon fibre. Everything else is a techno dream and a must. (no lube endurance chain) Noticed I will get Akropovic muffler on 2021. In US listed at just shy of 24,000 USD

indoors this looks more amazing in red. Will look forward to the review once you get to ride it. May be a comparison with 900 xr Vs 1000 xr would be useful. until 1000xr is around it is so difficult to look at 900xr....

Hello. Im waiting that motorcycle to come. I have payed pre-payment.
Curious about the seat comfort. I sat on the motorcycle at fair and felt stiffy.
I have compared some pictures of the motorcyle focusing on the seats and i realised that some of the motorcycles has different seats. Some of them are really thin looking. Some of them are thicker.
Would like to hear your opinions about seat comfort. Thank you from Turkey.
1000xr or Gsa1250 or R1250RS idont know what to choose most important for me is comfort and sometimes i will travel with it and distance tour like 500 km

How tall are you? I’m 1.70m tall and i’m afraid i can not move it around for parking. I used to have a 2008 z750 back in the days and i manage to touch ground with two feet even tough not completely flat but still i was doing good. I really love this bike.
Looks a lot more stylish than the F900xr.

Love everything but I would kinda liked it more without the push button to start and without the digital screen
I want to like these bikes but between the stiff suspension, a whole 2 cm's of foam in the seat and a seat design that looks like it locks you in place.... seems to harsh for my body now. Road one for a bit a few years ago over Passo de San Marco and the wife was not a fan either for the same reasons for the passenger.
Pretty cool, and if the weight is under 200kg wet then wow... But the front cowl/fairing reminds me of a prying mantis or one of the Decepticons from Michael Bay movies. Would like to see the front cowl/fairing a bit narrower and not that bulbous, but it is pretty rad to be honest.
The old one was 232kg this one is 228kg. Not sure any 1000cc 160hp bike is as light as 200kg even a ninja 650 is probably over 200kg
@@chrisredfield3240 Sounded like he said it was just under 200kg, but he might have meant dry weight then, as was pretty evident but one was at least hoping it did not go that far past 200kg scale.
@@Pillokun with a bike this powerful I would thing 220kg was the minimum to keep it stable at speed.
How can you buy a motorbike in a crate ? Did you shortcut the bike dealer ? I'm curious...(Seems not possible in France)

Tough decision. The KTM is able to cope with poor quality roads, while the BMW is too stiff. However, the BMW is faster and sportier.

Berlin, they'll start production again first week of may. At least, that's what the dealer told me.
Yeah, that is the latest info. Let’s hope they really restart the production. I’ve paid a deposit for mine in January and it should have been delivered by now, but unfortunately this shutdown and Corona will cause many delays....

Good bike, but sorry, not worth 20-23k eur, looked closely in the store, quality is not even close to above 20k eur bike. I went there with money and changed my mind. Many reports with fatal problems before 25k km and I don't care about 5 year warranty if I get stucked 1000km away from home. I still belive honda makes better quality, but that is my opinion, problem is that doesn't have sports-touring 150+ps model, like up-sitting cb1000r, now I'm waiting for that. If the price goes lower I'm buying because it looks very very cool and it is good for taller riders with wifes ass on the back seat and a lot of power. anyway, good reviews, keep up the great work ;)

So BMW are starting to have this optional " bmw M package " bullshit like on the cars, im ok with it but come on, i expect brembo brakes and Öhlins suspension not some cheap ass brakes and an awful exhaust.
I hope it's not made in china, not a BMW motorcycle needs to be made in china

@@lukaszg74 Hey I'm no BMW hater, i personally own a 2018 gsa. IMO it is classic corporate cost cutting here from bmw... beware the Hayes breaks and the 'lightened' swingarm (cracked on a test-drive by a motovlogger after 1 wheelie at nothing speed).
Cant live with it ,too much plastic ,amazing vibes ,ass Hating seat ,Harsh suspension ,and costly,paying for the gimmicks only don"t be fooled 🥱
