Why did Herod build the temple in the first place?

I am praying , and looking for answers to two questions. The true names and pronunciations of God the father and the son jesus? I have heard 5 different names and pronunciations of each and am still looking for the real names as I believe it matters greatly. With all the corruption from those in power from the Torah until today I have come to the conclusion that neither the jews or the Roman church want us calling out to the father and son in their true name and pronunciations. This with all the translations from Aramaic to Greek and to Latin. Almost as if intentionally hiding this from us. A conspiracy of sorts to keep this from us.. can you shed some light on this? My name is Marvin in English. It will still be pronounced very similar when spoken by other languages but Maybe spelled differently. For example..... if the messiah has a name pronounced yeshua calling him jesus is no where close to the pronunciation. I believe it is very important to pronounce the name of God and his son properly. Thanks.

In Zechariah 6:12-13 and Genesis 49:8-10 we receive the confirmation.
From Zechariah, Thus the LORD of hosts, said, Behold the man whose name is the BRANCH; shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:
Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory and shall sit and RULE upon his throne; and he shall be A PRIEST upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be BETWEEN THEM BOTH.
