My honest comment:
Tedi has done great job. Very admirable. I enjoyed this different version of the original.
However, I don't believe Abrar's work can be improved by any other artist. Be it this song or any of the rest of his songs. Because Abrar is always original. Abrar not only writes philosophical lyrics but he also pours his soul when he sings them...to the point that the singer & the song become one & the same. There's no as such the singer and the song with Abrar. There's only music when Abrar sings. I would say he created his own genre in Eritrean misic. That's why I think he can neither be imitated nor be improved up on.

Absolutely, your description is by itself philosophical. No wonder you admire Abrar.
I don't want to say that you are wrong. It is not about improving. It is about singing with different style and beat, etc.. There is no such thing called improvement unless the musical instrument of such singer is too old and not as good as the new high-tech instruments. I may like Abrar's old instruments and my friend may like Tedros's new instruments. It all falls on personal taste and Choice. Grand Mothers and Grandfathers enjoy one-man KRAR singer not today's advanced Musical Band or group.
