    I liked how you broke it down in stages, instead of how many do, with days. How did you begin counting your fast? Most that I've seen started counting the hours, as soon as they were done with their last bite. I never understood that. How can you count a fast when your body is still dealing with dietary calories? I start counting my fasting hours two hours after my last bite. It's true that the intestines still takes out nourishment but I didn't want to over do it and instead, waited the two hours for the stomach to be emptied at least. How about you? Do you over do it? Do you do the, last bite thing? Do you think that for a true 72 hour fast, someone should wait a full six hours for all nourishment to be extracted before counting 72hrs.?

      When it comes to counting the fasting hours, I understand that different people have different approaches.
      Personally, I started counting my fasting hours right after my last bite, not similar to what you mentioned. It was my first experience and I'll try to do different methods in my upcoming water fasting. I believe what you mentioned is more practical as it allows some time for the stomach to empty and reduces the influence of dietary calories on the fast. It's important to find a method that works best for us and aligns with our fasting goals and comfort level.
      After some research, for a true 72-hour fast, waiting a full six hours for all nourishment to be extracted before counting the 72 hours might be a reasonable approach. However, it ultimately depends on our personal preferences and the specific guidelines we choose to follow.
