Nice work, what kind of wood do you use usually?

The mice, and most of my carvings, are made with basswood. Basswood is known as Linden in England.
I do have a hummingbird video also available on my web site.
I occasionally sell the mice and hummingbirds.

Basswood in England is known as Lime not Linden.

Hey thanks! Yes, this video is going to be for sale on my web site tomorrow sometime. I will be making some other changes there as well. All my videos will cost $18 each. They are inexpensive because I do all the work here at home- with technical assistance from my husband. So they are not slickly produced, but all the info is there, along with a menu for navigating .

Doing that tail it would be so much easier using a dremel and sanding band.

+Small Water Pro Certainly you may use power if you want. I just prefer not to use power.
